    • There’s a nice breeze blowing so it’s okay for now. The first four boats are on the dock at the yacht club. 🙂

  1. curioussteph – Louisville, CO – June 2017: I started writing Curioussteph.com with this: By day, I'm a retired family physician turned body-oriented psychotherapist. I garden, travel, am owned by 2 elderly cats, figure skate and am training for my first triathlon. April 2020: Three years later, the two elderly cats have crossed the rainbow bridge, and we now have an 11 year old adoptee, Ziggy. I'm done with triathlon and skating for the time being, and I am still physically active, running, biking and walking. It's now the time of the coronavirus, which is affecting us all. July 2024: Four years later: I haven't been writing much, and change has continued. My partner of 36 years, BA has a number of health issues, primarily white matter disease, which has affected cognitive function and mobility. She has good days and bad, and so more of my time is spent managing our household and attending to her needs. My imagined retirement of spending half the year traveling isn't happening at the moment. Lots of adjustment and accommodation. Hoping to write more about retirement, and all the changes. We shall see.

I Lucy think that black cats are very good luck. And my Mama Steph has a 13 birthday, so that’s good too! Extra good day for everybody!

    • foguth – Though Jeanne began her career technical writing, her love of romantic-suspense, whether it be present, future or in an unknown galaxy inspired her to write the novels she wanted to find in bookstores. Since marrying, Jeanne and her husband have lived from the arctic to the tropics, as well as from yacht to off-grid mountain home. She loves using vivid colors and flowing shapes in her oil paintings as well as creating edible landscapes. At present, she is finishing writing the Chatterre Trilogy and working on a new episode for The Sea Purrtector Files. LOL, not only is my birthday on the 13th, so is my anniversary. I’ve been owned by 4 black cats and consider myself to be a very lucky person.

To be specific, I’ve been owned by 3 solid black ‘house panthers’ plus one very dark tuxie. They were all amazing and wonderful.

I’ve always thought so. If you’ve been owned by cats, particularly black ones, you’re very lucky, too.

  6. Service Cats U.S. – I Audra, am the human behind Service Cats U.S. aka DezizWorld. I am disabled and use cats as service animals instead of dogs. They are just as capable and can perform duties other animals cannot. We started our online journey to bring awareness to the ability of cats and to help others understand the relationship between a service animal and their handler/person. We offer training tips and tricks that I have learned through the years along with other information on all things feline. We began this journey in 2014 with Lexi and Dezi. They have since gone on to heaven, but our journey continues. This blog is about our daily life from the kitty's point of view. I want this blog to be interactive and get to know all of you, so comment and visit often. I will also offer advice, training tips and education when possible. Hi Sandee, I can’t think back that far now, but I’m sure it was a good one, most days are. Now black cats are stunning creatures and we don’t see many of them.

    xx
