    • I’m sick of politicians and politics. I would love to have some ice cream though. 🙂

    • “Politics: “Poli” a Latin word meaning “many” and “tics” meaning “bloodsucking creatures”.” 🙂

  1. Happy Friday, Sandee! Is that a Bengal cat? Very cute, whatever the breed. – I’m with you on the politics and also the black cats. Black cats are lucky and magical! 😀 Have a great weekend!

  2. foguth – Though Jeanne began her career technical writing, her love of romantic-suspense, whether it be present, future or in an unknown galaxy inspired her to write the novels she wanted to find in bookstores. Since marrying, Jeanne and her husband have lived from the arctic to the tropics, as well as from yacht to off-grid mountain home. She loves using vivid colors and flowing shapes in her oil paintings as well as creating edible landscapes. At present, she is finishing writing the Chatterre Trilogy and working on a new episode for The Sea Purrtector Files. You can always find out what she is working on and/or contact her at: www.jeannefoguth.com.

Gorgeous cat! Is s/he a Spotted Bengal? I’ve heard of the breed, but haven’t seen a good photo of one.

  3. That is a beautiful cat. Thank you for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. I agree about politics, I try to avoid them. Have a great weekend! XO

    • We get a stack of political flyers in the mail everyday. I’ll be glad when we can move on. 🙂

    • I thought this cat was very regal too. Funny how some can pull this royalty thing off so very nicely. 🙂

  4. Oh, my. What a looker!

I’m fascinated that anyone still gets a newspaper. I can’t remember the last time one came into this house. lol Maybe it’s because my husband has been an Internet junkie so long. He gets all his information there, sharing with me what’s important (either by word of mouth or sharing a link to an interesting article). He hasn’t felt the need for physical print in ages. Be well!

    • I don’t think anyone gets a newspaper on my street. I can remember there was one in every driveway back in the day. You be well too. 🙂

    • It’s probably because you treated her like a princess. I can see you doing that. 🙂

  5. Well, this cat knows how good it looks 😀. I am so over politics, but because of local elections coming up, there’s no escape right now.
And I always find an excuse for having some ice cream, even in the winter.

    • I think so cat just know they are royalty. My last kitty was like this cat. I loved her so. 🙂

    • It’s been many years without a newspaper here too. We don’t miss it one bit. Hugs back and have a blessed weekend. 🙂

  9. Service Cats U.S. – I Audra, am the human behind Service Cats U.S. aka DezizWorld. I am disabled and use cats as service animals instead of dogs. They are just as capable and can perform duties other animals cannot. We started our online journey to bring awareness to the ability of cats and to help others understand the relationship between a service animal and their handler/person. We offer training tips and tricks that I have learned through the years along with other information on all things feline. We began this journey in 2014 with Lexi and Dezi. They have since gone on to heaven, but our journey continues. This blog is about our daily life from the kitty's point of view. I want this blog to be interactive and get to know all of you, so comment and visit often. I will also offer advice, training tips and education when possible. What a purretty kitty. We luv ice cream too. Ice cram sammiches are one of mommy’s favorites. But she says the store thinks they’re made of gold and not milk. MOL Big hugs

    Luv ya’

    Dezi and Raena

    • Ice cream, candy and cereal is ever so expensive. I think all of it is made of gold. Big hugs back and scritches to the kitties. 🙂

  10. Look at those gorgeous spots and stripes. 🙂

Candy is an awful big temptation for parents this time of year. 😉
2 – I always read most sections of the newspaper.
3 – Black cats are beautiful________.
4 – Amaretto Chocolate Cheesecake is my favorite treat (but I haven’t had it for years!).

    • Thanks for playing along. Black cats are indeed beautiful. I like your cheesecake choice too. 🙂

    • I can’t eat donuts. I call them gut balls. I can’t eat a lot of things anymore. Bugger. 🙂

    • It’s a beauty indeed. You seem to be the only one of my commenters that knew what kind of cat this is. Happy weekend to you too, Barbara. 🙂

  11. Jim – http://www.jimmiehov6.blogspot.com – I'm a Senior Blogger. Are there any others anymore? Yes, the poets and real writers are still practicing and pushing their wares. A lot of the younger set though has migrated to FaceBook and Twitter which are pretty much social. I like my real Blogger Friends and would like to keep them, hoping they'd like what I write and how nicely I answer their comments.

Sandee, i love your Savannah kitten. But the large Maine is still my favorite cat love.

    This weeks questions:
1 – kid’s “slime” mixture is an awful mess.
    2 – I always read *, **, ***, and sometimes **** sections of the newspaper.
3 – Black cats need special protection around Halloween time __.
4 – __A “Corn Crib Sundae (a moist chocolate brownie topped with a tall dip of vanilla ice cream, chocolate syrup, whipped cream, and a marcino cherry) is my favorite treat. (I was amazed that ‘auto complete’ entered every word once I typed “moist cho”.)

Number two, I left out the word Sudoku. A side bit, I never do the hardest ones, *****, as they take me too much time to work them .

    • Savannah kitten. Glad you know what kind of cat this is.

Thanks for playing along in the fill-ins.

      Have a fabulous day. 🙂

    • It’s beautiful here. The sun is shining and it’s warm. Happy day to you and Ms. Zoe. 🙂

Sandee. I hope you are having a nice weekend. Thank you for reading my posts, you are fast, generally way ahead of me coming here.
    🙂 🙂 ♥ ♥ ♥ 🙂 🙂

  13. That’s a gorgeous cat. Love the spots.

I want to keep my sanity so I’ve posted a few humorous items for a break from politics. I want to keep my sanity so I gave up reading my local paper a long, long time ago. I miss the comics. I do crossword puzzles online… still in ink 😉

    • I quit listening to the fake news a long time ago and that includes newspapers. I’m with you. I used to do crosswords too. Need to do that again. 🙂

    • Black cats and dogs are always my first choice. My last kitty and my last pup were black. They were the best. 🙂

    • I try to stay away too and it’s not easy. Black cats and dogs are the very best. You have a blessed week too. 🙂

    • It was chilly out yesterday, but the sun was shining. I hate it when it gets cold. I’m not a winter person. 🙂

  14. First of all, I am very glad to finally meet you! ☺ We definitely agree with your #1. I’ll be so happy when elections are over. We are also fans of the comic section, especially on Sunday when they come in color!

    • I’m glad to meet you too. I can’t find your website though. I’m guessing you’re an author. 🙂

  15. What a gorgeous cat. My parents have a kitty named Josie who looks very much like that. And thank you for joining in on the Friendly Fill-Ins! Black cats are indeed full of good luck and love. And I have the exact same thoughts on politics. Have a wonderful day!
