1. My favorite president is Ronald Reagan because he gave this speech that spoke so loudly to me, “A Time for Choosing”:
The Founding Fathers knew a government can’t control the economy without controlling people. And they knew when a government sets out to do that, it must use force and coercion to achieve its purpose. So we have come to a time for choosing … You and I are told we must choose between a left or right, but I suggest there is no such thing as a left or right. There is only an up or down. Up to man’s age-old dream—the maximum of individual freedom consistent with order—or down to the ant heap of totalitarianism. — October 27, 1964
2. This weekend, I have plans to have dinner with my granddaughter and great granddaughter. Always a treat.
3. I love my husband more than life itself.
4. I believe in the power of kindness. I know kindness starts with me. Kindness starts with you. If we each choose kindness the world would be far better for it.

Haha! that’s a brilliant shot 🙂
Hope you have a nice weekend dinner
Have a cutetastic FFS
I thought is was a cute shot too, Steve. I intend to have a great time with my family this Sunday. 😎
Aww, those two are adorable. I especially like the black and white one.
Good answers for your fill ins. We could do with a whole lot more kindness in the world.
Yes, we could use more cute kitties and lots more kindness. 🙂
First Bill the Cat, now Garfield…I blame the pet rock 😉
You got your linkies in perfectly though. Excellent. 🙂
Cute cat photo! Have fun at your dinner!
We always have a nice time with our families dinners. 🙂
That photo is just the best. Sure made this lady smile big time. Love your fill-ins Sandee. Kindness is such an important word and so necessary. Sandee, you and Zane have a fantastic Friday.
Kindness is important and I choose kindness. You have a fantastic Friday too, Marge. 🙂
Thank you for these amazing and thoughtful answers to the fill-ins, and the picture of the kittens is such a fun one!
You’re most welcome, Mimi. I did love the kittens too. I could easily be the cat lady. 🙂
Ronald Reagan was an excellent president. He had a lot of common sense. Anytime government seeks to control our lives then things need to change. It’s worrisome that most people look to government to fix everything which says more sticking their noses in my business and that’s never a good idea. We must be responsible for ourselves and not look to the government for a handout. Reagan cut taxes creating a prosperous decade. People are poisoned with socialist ideas that tax cuts ONLY help the rich. I say, “Poppycock!” By cutting taxes you do help the rich but you help yourself, too. Who gives you your paycheck? Oh well…I can go on and on about this so I’d best stop here but you get my drift and since we’re so much a like then I’m gonna zip my lips. 🙂 I also love my husband more than life itself. I live by the golden rule and if others did the same then the world would be full of kindness with no conflicts, just peace and harmony. Wouldn’t that be wonderful? Thanks for sharing and have a good weekend, my friend!
If you want to see how well the government works, check the welfare inner cities, the American Indians. That’s a good place to see what the government can’t do. Kindness is so needed. 🙂
Reagan did have a way with words, he could say more with less than any President, probably because he was not a life long politician.
You’re probably right about that, Joe. He was a breath of fresh air after the failure before him. 🙂
Wonderful picture! Dinner with your grand and great grandkids sounds lovely. Enjoy 🙂
She is the light of my life and my great is every a bigger light. 🙂
Ronald Reagan was my favorite, too.
He was the first president I voted for.
I love my husband more than life, too.
Have a great weekend 🙂
We have much in common. I like that 🙂
I hope you enjoy dinner with your family this weekend. <3.
And I too love my husband more than life itself. I don't know what I would do without him.
Have a beautiful weekend!
We are most fortunate to have great life partners. You have a beautiful weekend too. 🙂
What a cute pair of kittens you found for today!
I work very hard finding the cute ones. I enjoy the search too. 🙂
Very cute kittens. Thank you for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. That is quite a speech, I always liked president Reagan too. I hope you have a wonderful time with your granddaughter and great-granddaughter. XO
You’re most welcome, Ellen. I enjoy doing them if we aren’t on the boat. If we are then it makes it hard to participate properly. 🙂
What the heck is going on , says the black cat. The other one is getting dizzy. Funny scene Sandee. Thanks for a happy morning my friend. See ya.
I like happy morning just like you do, Paul. 🙂
Omigosh, just when I think it can’t get any cuter! I absolutely love your fill-ins. I love that speech and I always loved Reagan! Such a great man! Have a beautiful weekend!
I try to outdo myself, and sometimes it works and other times not so much. Reagan was the first president that I really admired. 🙂
what cutie pie peek a boo kitties!
Kitties are really good at peek a boo aren’t they. 🙂
Great photo! And I got chills reading the quote. Ronald Reagan was my hero as a little girl. I sent him a get well card after the assassination attempt and got a note in return. Knowing now that a secretary likely handled it doesn’t take anything away from the memory (don’t know what happened to the note, sad to say).
I’m glad you liked my tacky joke about the skyscraper. Visiting St. Louis, I decided that when I’m elderly I would like an apartment in their uptown (downtown?) area with all sorts of restaurants and little shops within walking distance. Have a great weekend!
I’m so sorry you lost your note from his office. What a wonderful keepsake that would be.
I do love your sense of humor. 🙂
Are they looking at someone they have just tripped??
They are evil that way. I think that’s why we love them so much. 🙂
Kitty’s are so amazing…..these are so cute.
They are and they grow up so fast. I love their energy. 🙂
We’re being watched!
They don’t care as long as they get food and get to do whatever they want to do. 🙂
Another precious kittens photo! Love it! ~ Hugs to you both ~
Happy Weekend to you,
A ShutterBug Explores,

Thanks for the hugs. 🙂
Love your doggie header! and thanks for visiting and commenting ~ glad you are enjoying the angel creations ^_^
Zoe sends hugs XXX
Happy Weekend to you,

I love your angels. I look forward to them. Happy weekend to you and Zoe. 🙂
I wonder what those kittens find so fascinating? A great speech from a great President. Have fun at dinner with your granddaughter and great granddaughter. My hubby has been my world for 38 years and counting. And acts of kindness is a an excellent way to pass each day.
I’ve known my husband since 1978. I’ve loved him most of that time. We didn’t get together until the mid 90s though. The best thing that ever happened to me. 🙂
you find the cutest pictures! I love this!
Thanks, I try really hard to find the cute ones. Have a great weekend. 🙂
#3 – you’re adorable and so glad that you have a husband that makes you feel like that. #4 – A perfect answer and I agree with every word. Imagine what the world would be like if everyone went out of their way to be kind to their fellow man (and woman).
Have a lovely meal with your granddaughter and great granddaughter and enjoy your weekend.
Being kind is very essential. I am so tired of all the negative. 🙂
Such inquisitive faces! I just love kitties to pieces!
I know you’ll enjoy your dinner with your grandkids! Have a fabulous weekend!
I would have never guessed that you love kitties. I’ll enjoy seeing my granddaughter and great. 🙂
so cute- you ways have great photos! tkfor adding me!
You’re most welcome for the add. 🙂
I’m with you on kindness and my parents loved Ronald Regan. I wonder what he’d think of the current state of the Republican party. Good quote anyhoo. Hope you have a fun and tasty dinner.
I think things are better with President Trump than they would be with Crooked Hillary. Sorry, she scares me to pieces. 🙂
That is definitely a cool shot of those kittens.
I agree with you 100% on Ronald Reagan, we could sure use a man like him now. Seeing your Granddaughter and Great granddaughter will be a treat for sure, I know that you will have a wonderful time with them and it is obvious who the Love of your life is, I was tickled to see you say that, it is nice to see people give a shout out like that to their spouses. I also choose kindness, so many problems in our society today could actually be cured with a little kindness at the beginning.
Thank you, Jimmy. Looks like we are on the same page with a few things. Like kindness and loving our spouses. That’s a refreshing thing. 🙂
“You found it, you touch it first.”
Cats are curious creatures aren’t they. Yes they are. Most interesting though. 🙂
Sandee, I did a second Feline Friday. This one’s from the poetry blog because I found a fun cat video that I thought you would enjoy.
Oh goody. I’ll be right over. I love cat videos. Okay, I love cats. 🙂
Such cute kitties! It is always wonderful to meet up with love ones!
I’m looking forward to seeing my grands tomorrow. It’s always fun to catch up with what is going on in their busy lives. 🙂
I loved that speech! He was one of my favorites too.
Hope your dinner date was fun 🙂
He was an inspiration for many. Others just hated him. Tomorrow is our dinner date. 🙂
Thank you for adding Miss Coco, she is honored! 😉
You’re most welcome, Ramona. 🙂
Great Friday Fill-ins! I don’t remember that speech by Ronald Reagan, but I like that quote.
There have been lots of good presidents. We just need to focus on the good and not the bad. 🙂
The head tilt is sooo adorable!
I always fall for that head tilt. Always. 🙂
Little cuties. We are loving our new cat. She’s 10 years old, and the perfect addition to our family!
It’s wonderful when our new babies fit into our lives perfectly. 🙂
Awww!! Those two kitties are super adorable! I am with you on #4 – If we each choose kindness the world would be far better for it.
I go for adorable where our furbabies are concerned. Yes, kindness would make the world a better place. 🙂
Oh, I love this photo! 🙂
It is pretty cute, isn’t it. I go for cute whenever possible. Love you Ann. 🙂
That Cat Shot is fabulishious! Thanks for adding Me, Marvelous and I must say, Grand and Great Grand!?! Mom only has Grands.
We just got home from our wonderful visit and meal together. It was most fun. Our great is 7 and she’s losing her front teeth. So adorable. 🙂
Those cats looking down on me are a bit concerning.
I’m sure they are up to no good, but that’s the way cats roll. 🙂
Hi Sandee, very cute kittens. I don’t know how I was ever not a cat person before one adopted us. Curious, cute and very intelligent.
Cats rock, but so do dogs. I love them both. 🙂
I love that you chose Reagan. I am not surprised, though. Sandee, I truly love the way you think. You have your priorities and life in order. I really respect that. I am truly thankful that we are friends. Big hugs.
Being a cop for 25 years can make someone a Reagan fan. Okay, I’ve always been a conservative. 🙂
I was never a cop, though I was an Officer in ROTC. And, always a conservative. Sandee, thank you for your service as a cop. You are appreciated. HUGS.
Thanks, Annie. I appreciate your wonderful comments. 🙂
