“DEAR ABBY” ADMITTED SHE WAS AT A LOSS TO ANSWER THE FOLLOWING QUERIES:
Dear Abby, Our son writes that he is learning judo. Why would a boy who was raised in a good Christian home turn against his own?
Dear Abby, I joined the Navy to see the world. I’ve seen it. Now how do I get out?
Dear Abby, My forty-year-old son has been paying a psychiatrist $50.00 an hour every week for two and a half years. He must be crazy.
Dear Abby, I was married to Bill for three months and I didn’t know he drank until one night he came home sober.
Dear Abby, My mother is mean and short tempered. I think she is going through mental pause.
Dear Abby, You told some woman whose husband had lost all interest in sex to send him to a doctor. Well, my husband has lost all interest in sex and he is a doctor. Now what do I do?

Nyahahaha!! can't get over that Judo!!! 😀
Yep, people can be so dense. 🙂
mental pause… isn't THAT the truth. bahahaha!
big hugs xoxo
That's what it is too. 🙂
Seymour would be happy to answer all of those questions, if Dear Abby passed on them.
I would love to hear Seymour weigh in on these. 🙂
These are great, and Mental Pause is a perfect name for it.
I thought so too Rhonda. 🙂
LOL funny and LOL @ mental pause
Have a abbytastic day :-h
Mental pause seems to be a favorite. 🙂
Sometimes I wonder about Mental Pause…lol
Have a great day!
Me too Michelle. All the time in fact. 🙂
I'll bet these are all real. People really are funny even when we don't mean to be. Love the 'mental pause'.
They are supposed to be real Jean. All us women like the mental pause. 🙂
Coming home sober can be a problem for some.
It sure can Joe. It sure can. 🙂
She didn't answer those because she couldn't say in public what she really wanted to say.
I'm guessing you're right. I sure would have loved to be a fly on the wall to know what she really said. 🙂
Hahaha! Those were funny!
Funny and most are sad too. 🙂
Those can't be real. Maybe they're just trying to be funny. People can't be THAT stupid, can they? Yikes!
They can and are that stupid. Yes indeed. 🙂
I've always had my doubts about anyone who goes to a shrink! I suspect most shrinks are somewhat nutty to begin with too!
Yes, they are Ron. You nailed the shrinks very nicely. 🙂
Is her daughter doing the column now? And yes, I'm guessing that woman's son is still crazy if his psychiatrist hasn't fixed him yet!
I think so Stephanie. Her name is Amy. I agree about the son too. 🙂
Good afternoon Sandee. Sorry for not writing this morning. I've been very busy dealing with my mother's estate. Maybe I need Dear Abby? Ha,ha,ha. Have a great Tuesday good friend. I'll be writing my blog tomorrow if no more problems involving the estate pop up. See ya.
Cruisin Paul
I hope you can get your moms estate finish soon. I know this has been very difficult for you.
I'll see you tomorrow my friend. 🙂
Hahahaha! Thanks for the giggles Sandee!
How cute that Little Bit licks her daddy's feets! 🙂 She's a sweetie! Smooches to her!
She loves her daddy something awful. Like Isabella loves her daddy. 🙂
That last person, her case is hopeless — doctors won't go to the doctor! Heeheehee!
That's very true. I know a few doctors and they are terrible patients and that's if you can get them to see a doctor. 🙂
I am stealing that phrase "mental pause"
Go for it honey. You're not the only one. 🙂
That's funny about coming home sober! 🙂
It's funny and kind of scary at the same time. 🙂
Maybe the navy guy should invest $50 a week to see a psychiatrist. That should get him out of the navy
You have a point here Ann. Excellent idea. 🙂
I can only imagine the kinds of letters she would get. I'm guessing these are the mild ones. 🙂
I'm guessing you're right. I'll be there are some that couldn't be printed. 🙂
I think mental pause can be cured by judo.
You just might be right Binky. 🙂
Dear Sandee, These are fun!! I bet thees are just a few! So funny!!
That you dear xoxo Catherine
I'm sure there are many that never see the light of day and that we couldn't print either. They are fun indeed Catherine. 🙂
Too funnny!
Good to see you Sandi. I hope all is well in your world. 🙂
I have had that mental pause a time or two! That's some funny stuff. Love the smiles.
Big hugs, honey…
Me too honey, me too. Love you. 🙂
Mental pause is a classic. I must remember that oneI wonder if crazy animals have mental paws?
I loved the mental pause. I have that happen to me quite often. 🙂
Funny! I like the “wanted to see the world”; “how do I get out”. My dad was in the Air Force so we lived in Japan and Okinawa for a few years before settling in America. He retired in Arizona which is how I landed here. For kids, it’s a good life though. Very safe. As kids, we could walk just about anywhere and no one had to worry whether the pool, the library or our friend’s house.
