Facelift II

The long awaited pictures are finally a reality. Last July we took our boat in for the first part of her facelift. Then in December we took her back again for part two of her facelift. In June we’ll take her in for the last piece of work while we’re traveling to Oregon.

I’ve gone back to the last post to let you see the difference. Click on any photograph to biggify.
We went from the colorless tan canvas to the beautiful black canvas. What a difference it has made.
We now have wraparound seating along with a permanent table insert that added even more color. I love the way the canvas looks inside too.
The helm seating is far brighter and more inviting. Redoing the seating brightened up the boat a lot. It’s also far more comfortable.
The big black hole where the analog television resided for years made the perfect wine rack and storage for paper plates, napkins, cocktail napkins and serving bowls. Love, love this space.
And here is why I waited so long to show you the facelift. The blinds. What a different these make in the overall look.
Now we have a new flat screen smart television, and we get 27 channels.

Last but not least it our wine rack/storage space where the old television used to reside. They fixed it to match the rest of the boat.
This addition seems to be the most praised on the boat. Why? I don’t know, but many want one on their boat.

We are happy with how our boat turned out so far and we have one more facelift before we move on to something else. She has been a wonderful boat and we’re just making sure she’s taken care of the very best way that we can…by loving her.
