would love to go there some day.
If you get the chance please do. It's a wonderful place to explore. 🙂
Wow what a fab capture (h)
Have a splashtastic day Sandee :-d
Thanks Steve, it's a magical place. 🙂
I've always wanted to go there. I was disappointed that we didn't make it there when we did our cross-country camping trip. Maybe next time 🙂
It's worth the visit for sure Ellen. 🙂
That's on my bucket list… I'm in Tennessee, so most of my vacations have been on this side of the country. That means there are SO many things I want to see out West…I need to just get an RV and make a month of it!
There are lots of wonderful things to do and see out west. 🙂
I understand that the water is so hot it is dangerous but it is beautiful.
Have a blast of water and air Wednesday Sandee & Zane. See ya.
Cruisin Paul
We waited about a half hour to see this and it was worth the wait. So powerful. 🙂
Great post! Thank you for sharing this to us.

You're most welcome. 🙂
Wow!! Very interesting! Thanks for sharing!
You're most welcome Michelle. 🙂
Lovethis! First time I stood here I was only 7 years old with my Dad. Hugs all round to you and Zane!
It's a great family place for sure. 🙂
It's supposed to erupt into a ginormous earthquake that destroys the west. I heard this 20 years ago and still waiting.
Never fear, the gov't has taken on that job.
Jan, Yellowstone sits atop the caldera of a very large volcano that, if it erupts, can destroy the country. I never knew that there was danger of a ginormous earthquake, too. Sounds like a dangerous place to be.
I didn't know about an earthquake Jan, and eruption, but not an earthquake. 🙂
Kismet, the government is the big destroyer of all things. 🙂
Cube – this is what I remember too. It will wipe out most of the country, if not all. 🙂
Run, run awaaaay!
To where cube, to where? 🙂
Mars?
Mars it is. 🙂
Been there but didn't want to wait an hour for the next eruption.
Oh it was worth the wait. Spectacular. 🙂
I've never been that far west. It's on my bucket list, though.
A good thing to have on your bucket list. All the country side up there is fabulous. 🙂
I'd love to see Oldfaithful! Actually, we'd like to visit the western state national parks someday. That would be awesome. Happy hump-day! Come join me for Not-so-Wordless Wednesday with

I have been there! We actually lived only about an hour away from there. It is such a beautiful place, but oh so cold in the winter!
Very cold in the winter. It's a good place to spend the summers though. 🙂
Such a perfectly timed photo. I really like it.
Someone knew what they were doing with they took this photograph. 🙂
