Kyoto, Japan – There is arguably no destination more beautiful in the spring than Kyoto. The city’s spectacular cherry blossom season is carefully forecasted each year, and predictions for 2019 suggest that the flowers will arrive on March 23, with the peak viewing taking place from early to mid April. Luckily, that means you still have time to plan a trip. For those who love luxury hotels but still want an authentic local experience, book a room at Hoshinoya Kyoto. The top-rated property promises travelers the experience of a traditional ryokan (Japanese-style inn) with an elegant, five-star twist.
If I were to visit Japan, I would choose to visit in spring. Happy Wednesday!
Me too, Nancy. If you do take lots of pictures. 🙂
That is beautiful! I wonder if those cherry blossoms smell as good as they look.
I’m guessing they don’t. It would be hard to make this any better. 🙂
What a beautiful place all the lovely cherry blossom love the colour 🙂
Have a blossomtastic WWS ➡
PS: Thanks for always adding me Sandee ➡
It is a beautiful place, Steve. You’re welcome for the add too. 🙂
Very pretty. Spring would be a good time to visit Japan
It sure would and I’d love to visit this city. 🙂
I remember Hanami picnics — picnics under the cherry blossom trees during blossoming season. Even the tiniest breeze would send petals fluttering down. So lovely.
I would love to have experienced that picnic. 🙂
It’s pretty cool. I wonder if Japanese gardens in California allow Hanami picnics this time of year. I should’ve checked when I was there.
Mom says Kyoto is a very pretty place, but cherry blossoms make any place beautiful.
I agree that cherry blossoms make any place beautiful. 🙂
That’s about as pretty as it gets!
It is indeed. 🙂

my oh my….gorgeous blossoms!
I would love to see this in person. 🙂
my daughter just came back from japan two days ago! she said the blossoms were beyond beautiful.
I would think so. I’ve been to Japan Town in S.F. and that’s a beautiful sight too, but nothing this spectacular. 🙂
Make a nice picture puzzle! Where are my alergy pills?
It would make a nice puzzle. Yes those with allergies would be suffering here. 🙂
Sooo pretty! I loved spring time in Japan, seeing the cherry blossoms, and they even had spring time decorations on the town’s light poles that were pink and green to represent them.
Happy middle of the week! <3
Hubby and I would love to visit Japan anyway, but I’d choose to visit so I could see this. You have a happy middle of the week too. 🙂
It would take a long time for me to get tired of seeing this, if i ever did. Happy Wednesday!
That makes two of us, my friend. 🙂
Japenese Cherry Trees are so very pink, fluffy and beautiful!

Oh, I loves that! Ma had a Wirehair Fox Terrier whose mother came from Kyoto! I always visioned her running through all the cherry trees at bloom. Thanks for the beautiful picture!
