Walkways in aquariums are impressive, but they’ve got nothing on this underwater hotel bedroom in the Maldives. Can you imagine waking up with the Indian Ocean and its sea life floating around you?
That is very cool. I don’t know if I could sleep there. I would be up all night worrying about it springing a leak.
I’m not sure I could either, but I’d sure try. 🙂
I think I’d feel like a fishie in the water, Sandee😸Pawkisses for a wonderful day🐾😽💞
I think you’re be trying to catch those fish too. You’d have a great time, Little Binky. You have a purrfect day. 🙂
Sandee,
It’s funny you should share this picture. Yesterday I came across one similar to this and thought, no thank you. I’m good without having tons of water over my head. How do you sleep without fear of the glass cracking? That would drive me insane…ahh more crazy than I already am! 🙂 I get the hebbie-gebbies walking under the glass tanks at the aquarium. I wouldn’t make a good sailor or naval man. 🙂 Thanks for hosting the mid-week fun, my freind!
I think I’d worry about the glass cracking too. I could never be in a submarine either. I’ll pass. Happy Wednesday, Cathy. 🙂
That would be amazing! But I probably wouldn’t get a wink of sleep cause I’d keep staring out at the fish.
That would make two of us. I’m not sure I could even sleep in there. 🙂
Wow! That’s brilliant It would take getting used to but I think I would love it 🙂
Have a fishytastic WWS ➡
PS: Thanks for adding me each week much appreciated Sandee 😉
You’re most welcome for the add each week, Steve. You do the same for me and thank you for that. 🙂
That would be a bit weird and maybe claustrophobic, but cool at the same time. Mom says in Tahiti, she stayed in a room with a clear floor and the sea was under the room. She enjoyed that.
I agree with you. I love that room. I’d love to stay there. Wow. 🙂
Not sure if I want stay in a room like this! Especially after watching the movie The Meg!
Happy WW, Sandee!
I’ve not seen that movie. I’m guessing I don’t want to either. Happy WW to you too. 🙂
That is SO cool! I might be a little nervous at first, but I would totally stay there if given the opportunity. Happy Wordless Wednesday, Sandee! Thank you, as always, for hosting! 🙂
I’d be a lot nervous, but I’d give it a go. You’re welcome on the hosting. Happy Wednesday. 🙂
Wow, I don’t know if I would enjoy this. It’s making me seasick just looking at the picture. LOL ((Hugs))
Oh my, being seasick is not a good thing. Hugs back. 🙂
Nice but no thanks! This is not for me. I prefer sleeping in a normal room.
Some love it and others not so much. I do like my own bed here. 🙂
If I suddenly woke up I’d think I was having a nightmare!
My pictures and Linky!
That very well may happen. Thanks for joining in this week, Keith. 🙂
So unique ~ beautiful photo but not my choice of place to live ~ not a mermaid ~ LOL
Thanks for hosting and lots of Xox from Ms. Zoe and me ~
Happy Day to you,
A ShutterBug Explores,
aka (A Creative Harbor)
I’m not a mermaid either, Carol. I’d love to see it though. Happy day to you and Ms. Zoe. 🙂
It would be lots of fun to lay on that bed and watch the fishes!
Yes it would. I think I would rather be awake while in there though. 🙂
Not sure if I would like that or not. But it might be interesting to watch the fish swim around.
Sandee, you and Zane have a fantastic day.
It would be cool to see all those fish swimming around. You have a fantastic day too, Marg. 🙂
Meowser!!!!! That’s a wonderful bedroom!!!!
Purrseidon
It is indeed and it’s very different. 🙂
That would be a beautiful place to stay. I think I would feel too trapped though. Thanks for hosting. Have a great day! XO
Me too Ellen. I would love to walk through it though. You have a great day too. 🙂
I don’t know what happens there when you want to take a leak.
I’m sure there is a bathroom there somewhere. There would have to be. 🙂
Yep….since I used to love to have an aquarium and turn off the lights looking into it I think I would like this. Not for more than a couple of days but yes….I think I would like.
It would be quite the experience. 🙂
As much as I like the idea, I think my mild claustrophobia would kick into hyper-drive. But I love walking through the tunnel at our local aquarium. Nice image!
I’m probably going to feel about the same. I know I’m claustrophobic. Too bad. 🙂
I’m afraid this would give me drowning nightmares.
Yikes, I hadn’t thought of that. 🙂
Beautiful but I would feel claustrophobic. Happy Wednesday!
I’m pretty sure I’d feel the same. I’d try though. 🙂
Ahhh, It is nice but no thank you. I would freak out living there. Thanks for hosting and I hope that you have a wonderful week.
I’m not sure I could do it either, Patrick. You have a wonderful week too, Patrick and thanks for linking up. 🙂
Very cool, but I don’t think I could sleep very well.
I’m not thinking I would either. It’s beautiful though. 🙂
Hi Sandee, how WOW! is that? Not sure I’d be totally comfortable surrounded by so much water for too long but would happily sit and enjoy a moment or two taking it all in.
xx
I think we should all go together to see how we feel in there and then figure out if we want to stay the night. 🙂
Now that is a WATERBED!!!
I cannot even imagine sleeping there but I sure would love walking thru an aquarium with the fishes swimming around me.
Hugs Cecilia
That might be all I could do too, Cecilia. I’d give it a go though. Hugs back, my friend. 🙂
WOW! I love it. I would have no problem staying in this room or whatever you call this. I wonder how it would feel if a shark or sharks were to slide by you as you sit there. LOL See ya Sandee.
Cruisin Paul
It would be cool if you could do this without being stressed. I’m not sure how I would feel in there. I’d try though. 🙂
That would be a very unique and wonderful experience.
I’m guessing it would be that and more. 🙂
Incredible image and amazing concept but I’m just not sure I would be comfortable spending the night. It does give a whole new meaning to “Sleeping with the fishes.” Have a blessed week.
That makes two of us. I’d have to go in and see how I feel. If it’s something I could tolerate it would be an awesome experience. 🙂
would love to spend one night there!
I’d give it a try. Not sure how I’d react. 🙂
oh my gosh- not sure about sleeping there tho’! Have a super day! xoxoxo toyou and Zane!
An underwater wonderland. Hugs to you and Russell and lots of scritches to Miss Lucy. 🙂
Mom thinks she would like this, and we all know we sure would; though, we are not sure we would get any sleep. Very cool idea. Thanks for sharing. And thanks for linking us up. Mom says, “hi!” XOCK, angel Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy and Sawyer
It would be hard to sleep for sure. You’re always welcome for the links. 🙂
Saw some floating houses in Dubai, where the master bedroom is underwater!
Now the floating houses I could go for. 🙂
Hi Sandee!
Happy Wednesday My Friend
I would love to visit this hotel. I’m sure it’s way over my budget but if I could afford it I would stay an entire weekend and not sleep a wink. lol
Have a great week
xoxo
Mary
You’re a risk taker so I knew you’d go. It’s way over my budget too. It has to be expensive. You have a great week too, Mary. 🙂
Nice example of engineering, but where is the litter box? MOL!
I’m sure there is a litter box in there somewhere. The kitties don’t sleep here because of all the fish. 🙂
That looks pretty, but I’d never want to be there, as I have a fish phobia. They all freak me out! I even avoid fish tanks in the pet store.
Wishing you a wonderful Wednesday! <3
I wouldn’t care about the fish, but being underwater is not my cup of tea. 🙂
An underwater hotel… wow!! This is incredibly impressive & what a beautiful place to stay, I can imagine that would be incredibly grounding & relaxing (unless of course you’re worried about cracks in glass…) xx
It’s beautiful isn’t it. I’ll bet is costs an arm and a leg. 🙂
That is so very beautiful, but Mom says she gets freaked out every time she goes into an exhibit like that. We think she has an underwaterphobia:)
Woos – Lightning, Misty, and Timber
I’m not sure how I would take being here either. I’d have to see. 🙂
Love that you’re a(nother) rule breaker! Happy mid-week. I’m not sure I’d ever fall asleep in that hotel room, I’d be too busy watching all the incredible life floating by.😊
I’ve always been a rule breaker. It’s the way I roll. 🙂
Wow, wow, and double wow! I would love to try that out. Only thing is I wouldn’t want to get woke up by a shark knocking on my window or a whale perhaps! Wow, I’m the 13th person to like your stuff and I was born on the 13th day of the month. hmmm Connection? hmmmm hehehe HI GIRLFRIEND! How’s goin’? Hope all is fine with you and you have a great weekend! Who luvs ya? ~hehehe~ As my friend Telly would say… luv ya… HUGS!
It’s a wow indeed. I would love to see it, but not sure I’d want to sleep there. We’re staying home this weekend and just rest. The weather is wet, wet and more wet.
Have a fabulous day, Marie. Love you bunches. 🙂
I did leave a comment first thing this morning but didn’t see it post. There were no other comments either so I thought it must be waiting for moderation.
It looks lovely but I wouldn’t be able to stay there as I would find it too claustrophobic.
You were in the spam folder and I don’t understand why. Your comments were approved long ago. I’m getting a lot of spam of late though. I hope since I’ve approved you again we won’t have any more issues. 🙂
Wow, that is a wild bedroom!
It sure is. It would be fun to watch the fish though. 🙂
I like those aquariums where you can walk under the water so to speak. Been in two I think, but not lately. Remember, I think, JAWS III where the giant shark crashed thru the glass to eat the people!
I remember Jaws back in the day. It scared me to pieces. Now it’s cheesy. 🙂
It would be wonderful if i weren’t always wondering if there was a leak somewhere.
Many of us would be worried about this, but it’s beautiful. 🙂
It kinda left Seymour feeling like he was a pending kidney stone to a halibut…I think I see what he tried to do there.
I see what he did there too. Makes sense, but we both know how Seymour rolls. 🙂
I’m not sure I could go in there wide awake, much less try to sleep in there. It is pretty though.
I hear you. I think I’d be okay if I was awake, and just passing through, but spending the night might be a problem. 🙂
That would be a cool experience! Might not get much sleep though, watching all the marine life.
I doubt I could sleep either. It would be a great experience though. 🙂
I love the fabulous places you find. Now I have a new place on my bucket list. That is an absolutely awesome room.
We don’t travel anymore so I have fun looking for places I’d like to visit. It works for me. 🙂
