Walkways in aquariums are impressive, but they’ve got nothing on this underwater hotel bedroom in the Maldives. Can you imagine waking up with the Indian Ocean and its sea life floating around you?

    Sandee,

It’s funny you should share this picture. Yesterday I came across one similar to this and thought, no thank you. I’m good without having tons of water over my head. How do you sleep without fear of the glass cracking? That would drive me insane…ahh more crazy than I already am! 🙂 I get the hebbie-gebbies walking under the glass tanks at the aquarium. I wouldn’t make a good sailor or naval man. 🙂 Thanks for hosting the mid-week fun, my freind!

    • Sandee says:

I think I’d worry about the glass cracking too. I could never be in a submarine either. I’ll pass. Happy Wednesday, Cathy. 🙂

  2. stevebethere says:

Wow! That’s brilliant It would take getting used to but I think I would love it 🙂

    Have a fishytastic WWS ➡

PS: Thanks for adding me each week much appreciated Sandee 😉

That would be a bit weird and maybe claustrophobic, but cool at the same time. Mom says in Tahiti, she stayed in a room with a clear floor and the sea was under the room. She enjoyed that.

  4. meowmeowmans says:

That is SO cool! I might be a little nervous at first, but I would totally stay there if given the opportunity. Happy Wordless Wednesday, Sandee! Thank you, as always, for hosting! 🙂

  5. Pam says:

Yep….since I used to love to have an aquarium and turn off the lights looking into it I think I would like this. Not for more than a couple of days but yes….I think I would like.

  6. Debbie says:

Hi Sandee, how WOW! is that? Not sure I’d be totally comfortable surrounded by so much water for too long but would happily sit and enjoy a moment or two taking it all in.

    xx

  7. Paul Pietrangelo says:

WOW! I love it. I would have no problem staying in this room or whatever you call this. I wonder how it would feel if a shark or sharks were to slide by you as you sit there. LOL See ya Sandee.

  8. Driller's Place says:

Incredible image and amazing concept but I’m just not sure I would be comfortable spending the night. It does give a whole new meaning to “Sleeping with the fishes.” Have a blessed week.

    • Sandee says:

That makes two of us. I’d have to go in and see how I feel. If it’s something I could tolerate it would be an awesome experience. 🙂

  9. Kitties Blue says:

Mom thinks she would like this, and we all know we sure would; though, we are not sure we would get any sleep. Very cool idea. Thanks for sharing. And thanks for linking us up. Hi Sandee!
    Happy Wednesday My Friend
I would love to visit this hotel. I’m sure it’s way over my budget but if I could afford it I would stay an entire weekend and not sleep a wink. lol
    Have a great week
    xoxo
    Mary

    • Sandee says:

You’re a risk taker so I knew you’d go. It’s way over my budget too. It has to be expensive. You have a great week too, Mary. 🙂

That looks pretty, but I’d never want to be there, as I have a fish phobia. They all freak me out! I even avoid fish tanks in the pet store.
Wishing you a wonderful Wednesday! <3

An underwater hotel… wow!! This is incredibly impressive & what a beautiful place to stay, I can imagine that would be incredibly grounding & relaxing (unless of course you’re worried about cracks in glass…) xx

  13. The OP Pack says:

That is so very beautiful, but Mom says she gets freaked out every time she goes into an exhibit like that. We think she has an underwaterphobia:)

Wow, wow, and double wow! I would love to try that out. Only thing is I wouldn’t want to get woke up by a shark knocking on my window or a whale perhaps! Wow, I’m the 13th person to like your stuff and I was born on the 13th day of the month. hmmm Connection? hmmmm hehehe HI GIRLFRIEND! How’s goin’? Hope all is fine with you and you have a great weekend! Who luvs ya? ~hehehe~ As my friend Telly would say… luv ya… HUGS!

    • Sandee says:

It’s a wow indeed. I would love to see it, but not sure I’d want to sleep there. We’re staying home this weekend and just rest. The weather is wet, wet and more wet.

Have a fabulous day, Marie. Love you bunches. 🙂

I did leave a comment first thing this morning but didn’t see it post. There were no other comments either so I thought it must be waiting for moderation.
It looks lovely but I wouldn’t be able to stay there as I would find it too claustrophobic.

    • Sandee says:

You were in the spam folder and I don’t understand why. Your comments were approved long ago. I’m getting a lot of spam of late though. I hope since I’ve approved you again we won’t have any more issues. 🙂

    • Sandee says:

I hear you. I think I’d be okay if I was awake, and just passing through, but spending the night might be a problem. 🙂
