The Notre-Dame Cathedral is seen as a Parisian icon. Located right along the picturesque River Seine, the Notre-Dame Cathedral is considered a Gothic masterpiece and is often regarded as one of the best Gothic cathedrals of its kind in the world. Construction of the famous cathedral started in the late 10th century and final touches weren’t made until nearly 200 years later. And once you get an eyeful of the cathedral yourself, you’ll start to understand why it took so long.
It’s amazingly beautiful. Everything was about master workmanship then.
Yes indeed and I’d love to see it in person. 🙂
It is beautiful and iconic, that’s a good angled photo too 🙂
Have a notredamictastic WWS ➡
What a rich history too. 🙂
It is beautiful and the contrast of the night sky really adds to the photo.
I agree with you. It’s a beautiful place. 🙂
It is beautiful. If it’s that amazing in pictures I can only imagine how truly beautiful it is seeing it for real.
Let’s go see it together, Ann. We’d have a great time. 🙂
Beautiful especially when it is lighted and the sky is blue and the water so calm.
Taken on the perfect evening, I’d say. Happy Wednesday,Nancy. 🙂
Sandee,
How to see such sights up close must be truly amazing! Fabulous! Thanks for hosting. Have a furtastic day, my friend!
I’m guessing it would be. I love visiting the Alamo. It’s an amazing place too. 🙂
It looks so beautiful in the photo. Mom has been there a few times but said it looked like it needed a good wash up close.
I’m guessing it does, but I’d still love to see it in person. 🙂
A visit to this iconic landmark in on my very long bucket list! I think my list gets longer each time I swing by your blog , Sandee!
My bucket list is pretty short anymore. We’ve decided that traveling isn’t what we want to do anymore. We’re good with that. 🙂
Beautiful image. Beautiful city. At least it was prior to uncontrolled immigration and the riots….. However, I have confidence that good will triumph and Paris will be restored to beauty and peace
I hope you’re right about that. There are those here that want the same uncontrolled immigration. 🙂
What a great shot of a beautiful historic place! Thanks for adding us and all you do!
Have a fabulishious day!

Marv
Marv always tell me to link you us in case you get too busy. You have a fabulous day too. Scritches to the kitties. 🙂
I’d love to be walking along that river right now!
I’ll come with you, Jan. 🙂
That is such a pretty, pretty scene!
Yes it is and what history here. 🙂
Quelle très belle cathédrale. I just thought since we were in France I’d say something in French. What a beautiful cathedral. See ya Sandee.
Cruisin Paul
Well done, Paul. I’m waiting for some cruise posts. 🙂
Oh my in these temps give me the BEACH….even in a pic. HAHA
I’m thinking Hawaii. 🙂
Beautiful photo! Notre Dame is even more amazing in person, and we really enjoyed seeing it in person. One really neat thing is that the back of the building is arguably even more interesting than the famous front. It has exposed flying buttresses and a quiet garden. 🙂
Thank you for hosting, Sandee. Have a terrific day!
I would think it is too. I’ll have to find a picture of the back. Thanks. You have a terrific day too. 🙂
That’s a beautiful photo! I actually visited this cathedral way back in 1966. We were living in Germany at the time and came to Versailles (near Paris) for a family wedding. Since it’s so close to Paris, we spent a few extra days sightseeing. 🙂 Would love to go back. Thank you for the linkup. Cheers!
I would also love to see this. Lucky you that you did get to see this. It’s beautiful. 🙂
It’s incredible that such beautiful places were made way back when it was so hard to do!
Halfway to the weekend and your boat trip! Yay!
Like the pyramids. That’s always amazed me. 🙂
You don’t usually see the view of it from that end. Or at least I haven’t.
Someone did a lot of work to set this shot up. 🙂
Interesting 🙂
Have a great Wednesday! ((Hugs))
You have a great Wednesday too, Michelle. Hugs back. 🙂
I see this image, and think of Claude Monet’s series of Rouen Cathedral. I studied both building when in my Art History classes at school, and hope to see them in purrson one day.
I have Monet prints all over our home. Love all things Monet. 🙂
That is gorgeous…the sky, lights and the beautiful Cathedral all aglow
Hugs Cecilia
A very good photographer. Hugs back, my friend. 🙂
I don’t see any yellow vests.
They have gone home for the day, Kismet. 🙂
Lovely and beautiful Notre Dame in gay Paree ~ gorgeous photo ^_^

A very beautiful night photo.
Yes it is. Someone knew what they were doing when they set up this shot. 🙂
Seeing this beautiful image, unfortunately, reminds me of the unrest in France. I pray the world finds peace. Best wishes, my dear!
Yes, there is a lot of unrest in France. Happy day to you, my friend. 🙂
It is amazing! A one of a kind wonder! Happy Wednesday!

Some days are that way, Marg. Not to worry. Have a great day. 🙂
Ah, Notre Dame! I visited there with my mom years ago. She was a Parisian at heart.
Oh lucky you. Being with mom is great, but being with mom here is even better. 🙂
