The Amalfi Coast is a popular tourist destination for the region and Italy as a whole, attracting thousands of tourists annually. In 1997, the Amalfi Coast was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Source: Wikipedia
From this picture alone I can see why it’s a popular place for tourists. Such a pretty view.
And the food. All that Italian food. I want to go. 🙂
Enchanting! I can certainly see why it’s a popular tourist destination.
Happy WW, Sandee!
So can I, Veronica. Beautiful place filled with wonderful Italian food. 🙂
That is a gorgeous place. A good view from all windows. Sandee, you and Zane have a fantastic day.
Yes a room with a view would be perfect. You have a fantastic day too, Marg. 🙂
That scene is sure magical!
Yes it is and I want to go. 🙂
Beautiful! My visits and posts are going to be pretty sporadic until after the first of the year. I already miss it! LOL!
Okay, Linda. Thanks for the heads up. 🙂
Looks very inviting and warm too.
We like inviting and warm. 🙂
Sandee,
I love these seaside villages along the Mediterranean. I’m assuming that’s where this is anyhow. What do I know? I’m no world traveler that’s for sure. 🙂 Gorgeous photo where ever it is! Thanks for hosting the mid-week fun, dearie!
I’m not a world traveler either, but it’s in Italy. 🙂
Wow, that photo is so dramatic. What a beautiful place, and one that we’d love to get to some day. 🙂
Sandee, thank you, as always, for hosting. Hope you’re having a wonderful day and week.
It’s my pleasure to host. I love doing these memes. You have a wonderful day too. 🙂
Looks like a place I,would not mind visiting.
I know I’d love to visit. I’ve many friends that have visited Italy and they all loved it. 🙂

We would have a great time if us two couples went. We would. 🙂
Beautiful! Looks like a relaxing vacation destination.
Hope you’re having a wonderful week, Sandee.
I would want it to be relaxing. You have a wonderful week too, Jeanne. 🙂
“………….”
That says a lot, or nothing. 🙂
Takes my breath away!
Being on the water makes for some awesome places to visit. 🙂

So blue, so warm and with great food. 🙂
That’s everything needed for a perfect view.

Yes on both counts. Lots of xoxo to Ms. Zoe. 🙂
Wow! Yesterday we watched a show about food in Tuscany. It made us want to go, me for the mountains and coastline, him for the food. Heh Have a blessed day!
See you would both be happy. Go. You have a blessed day too. 🙂
Would love to go to Italy some day soon!
Me too. I’ve always wanted to go to Italy. 🙂
WOW, I always forget about this one, and it’s so very cool! Thank you for letting my blog look like yours~! WOO HOO! As far as Italy… wellllllllllllllllll that’s my ancestry! My maternal gramma and grandpa was born in Palermo, Sicily and I spend a lot of time at my gramma’s house and all I can say about that was it was great fun and I loved them immensely and my gramma didn’t believe in store bought bread or mops… so now you know what it was like at gramma’s! There were so many more fun times, but we’d be here all day! ~hehehe~ Have a great day and oh by the way I’ve been told I make the best Lasagna in town! ~hehehehe~
I’m glad you got the links. I love Mr. Linky. Been with him for years and years. I love lasagna. Now I want some. 🙂
What a coincidence! Mom and Dad are talking about making another trip to Italy and the Amalfi Coast is the area they have in mind! I guess that means I’ll have to stay home with the doggie.
I hope you get to go here. It looks like a slice of heaven. 🙂
Very pretty. I have frequently raced along those winding roads in the small Amalfi coastal towns–on my XBox360!
How fun for you. 🙂
Gorgeous photo of an absolutely stunning place! I love everything about Italy, and I pray we can get back there soon. Thanks for linking us up. Hugs, Janet
What’s not to love. You’re welcome for the link. 🙂
It is a beautiful place. So hard to fathom building all those homes there with the steep hill.
Woos – Lightning, Misty, and Timber
Kind of like the homes built in the bay area. Same kind of thing. Have a woof woof day. My best to your hard working mom. Extra lovies to Lightening. 🙂
Gorgeous…lets take a trip.
Hugs Cecilia
Okay, sounds great to me. Hugs back, my friend. 🙂
Are you on an Italian kick? Not that I’m complaining!! I can be packed in about 10 minutes. 🙂
It won’t take me long to pack either. Let’s go. 🙂
It’s a shame you couldn’t go there and take your own picture of it. That would be cool.
It is a shame I’m not there for real. It would be very cool. 🙂
Now that’d be a fabulous place to boat around! Beautiful!
Hope all is well with you and Zane! I was knocked on my butt by a cold but am finally feeling better. Hope it’s the one and only time I get sick for a very long time!
I would love to boat around there.
I remember the kitties say you had a man cold, so I knew it was bad. I hope you don’t get sick for a long time either. 🙂
It’s like a picture out of a story book!
I felt that way about St. Thomas. I loved it there and it was a picture out of a story book. 🙂
I did not post just one “wordless” picture today, I am such a rebel! Ok, I’m really not, I’m just very unorganized lately. Maybe I need a blog hop organizer, so I know what to post on which day. I have just been posting whatever interests me or whatever I am focused on – on that particular day. I used to be better at this, really, I swear! sigh
Some folks do three and four posts for Wordless Wednesday. It’s all good. Thanks for linking up. 🙂
Oh, I can almost smell the coppertone! Ma says she will have some Italian vaca dreams tonight ☺
Kisses,
Ruby ♥
Okay, mom can dream about Italian vacations. What are you going to dream about, Ruby? 🙂
Truly beautiful! I would love to visit the Amalfi Coast some day. Looks like absolute paradise!
Apparently it’s a great place to go. I would love to visit there too. 🙂
Absolutely stunning. A bucket item, indeed!
Yes a wonderful bucket item, Eugenia. 🙂
Certainly a very picturesque location.
Yes it is and all that great Italian food too. 🙂
Wow, that place looks amazing. I’d love to go there someday
