Wow, that’s pretty cool and no doubt harkens to the mining of copper in the state. So unusual too since some capitol buildings use gold on their rooftops. Happy mid-week, dear Sandee. Thanks for another fascinating Wordless Wednesday.

Well that’s an interesting fact I didn’t know. I wonder why they chose to use pennies on the roof.
I have no idea why, but I thought it was an interesting tidbit. Happy WW and rest of the week. 🙂

What an interesting factoid. Now that pennies have been officially phased out, Mom wonders what folks are going to do with them. Cooper sends purrs and kitty kisses. XOCK, angels Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid & Sawyer, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy, Kizmet, Audrey, Raleigh, Gibbs & Tali
I have no idea what’s going to happen to all those pennies. Scritches to all the kitties, a smooch to Cooper Murphy and a big hug to you. 🙂
Wow, that’s interesting. I didn’t know about this. Thanks for the info.
Have a great Wednesday and rest of the week!
The funny thing is, it would probably cost that much today to put a regular roof on that building!
Very interesting! I like to tour state capitals! The roof holding pennies is certainly unique!
OMC Sandee, we bring our wallet when we go to visit there💰😺Double Pawkisses for a Happy Day and Week ahead to you, Zane and your sweet kitties too🐾😽💞
Very fun fact! I was thinking it wasn’t real pennies, but the same amount of copper that was used for the roof, would be like the price equiv. of that many pennies? But I’m just guessing. Still fun to think about a roof full of pennies. Wishing you a wonderful Wednesday <3
