Myrtle Beach, South Carolina – As the largest resort along South Carolina’s 60-mile Grand Strand, Myrtle Beach is the East Coast’s ultimate vacation hub. The town teems with summertime action along the Strand with beaches, amusement and water parks, restaurants and live entertainment and a host of hotels ready to pamper guests young and old.
It looks lovely there I’m happy I love amusement parks or as we say Funfairs heheh!
Have a resorttastic WWA 🙂
I used to love amusements parks, but getting older they lose their appeal. 🙂
I’ve never been there but I could get used to a place like that.
I would love to spend a week or two there, but not when it’s real hot. 🙂
Looks like a great place to visit!
Apparently it’s a very popular place in the summer months. 🙂
Sandee,
This reminds me of when we went to Naples. The friends we were visiting drove us passed some homes like this. We couldn’t see a lot of the homes but the ones we did were amazing. The thing is, places like this really wouldn’t be something I’d buy if I had that kind of money to spend. I’m just a simpleton. 🙂 Thanks for hosting the mid-week fun!
I hear you Cathy. I wouldn’t buy here either. We live modestly as well. You’re welcome for the mid-week hosting. 🙂
Wow. That’s beautiful! I’ve never been but I have friends who vacation there every year. Looks like a great place to put on that proverbial “bucket list.” 🙂
If you’re on the ocean it can’t be all bad right? I didn’t think so. 🙂
I’ve always wanted to visit Myrtle Beach. So beautiful!
Thank you for hosting. 🙂
I didn’t know about it until recently. I want to go now too. 🙂
It is beautiful! If I could, I would go there in a heartbeat!
Happy WW, Sandee!
It’s a long way from you. Happy WW too, Veronica. 🙂
The Dad was there 2 years ago for the BlogPaws Conference and had a fun time!
I’m sure he did. I think your dad has fun no matter what he does. It’s a good thing. 🙂
We have been invited to Myrtle Beach. I am considering it. 🙂
I wouldn’t pass up that invite. 🙂
Gosh! I miss living on the ocean!
Love Barb
I don’t mind visiting the ocean, but living on it I’d rather not. All the upkeep to keep things looking new. 🙂
Beautiful! We prefer the quieter Outer Banks, North Carolina. ~grin~ I’m looking forward to a trip back one of these days. Be well!
I would go for the quieter too, but this stretch of beach really intrigued me. You be well too, Darla. 🙂
Never been there but I heard it is nice and I know a lot of folks rather go there than to Fla.
I’ve been to Florida and it’s nice. I would love to visit here too. 🙂
What a beautiful spot. I’ve been to Myrtle Beach once for the BlogPaws Conference and never saw anything but the hotel. Looks as if I missed the best part! XOCK, angel Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy and Sawyer
As long as you had fun at BlogPaws then all is good. 🙂
Panoramic shot! hugs from me and Zoe ~ xxx
Happy Midweek to you,
A ShutterBug Explores,
aka (A Creative Harbor)
Yes indeed. Hugs back to you and Zoe. 🙂
I’ve been there! Sad to say, my enduring memory of that place is ‘hot and humid’. I tried to play a round of golf (why not in one of America’s golf capitals?) and almost passed out. Sigh.
I don’t like the high humidity either. I went to San Antonio Texas once in September. My ankles were the size of grapefruits. Miserable. 🙂
The photo tells me I need a pay raise! And a vacation!
You and me both, Greg. 🙂
Have never been there but would love to go. Thanks for sharing it.
It would be a wonderful vacation spot. You’re most welcome for the share. 🙂
Watch out for the hurricanes.
I don’t want to ever experience a hurricane. Never. 🙂
Beautiful spot. I could stay here.
Yael from PlayingInCatnip.com
Yes it is and I could stay there too. 🙂
Those are lovely homes, but I would never want to live that close to the ocean…. I live in FL and every year we deal with the ravages of tropical storms and the occasional hurricane – the properties that close to the ocean are in a mandatory evacuation zone… I prefer to live a bit inland, so I don’t need to be uprooted and can stay home to enjoy watching the weather.
I love to vacation on the ocean, but I don’t want to live on the ocean either. For many reasons. 🙂
Exactly!
would love to know how much those houses cost!
I’m going to guess in the millions. Too rich for my blood. 🙂
That is so beautiful! I wish I was there right now. Happy Wordless Wednesday Sandee and friends.
Love & BIG Hugs,
Jody
I wish you were there right now too, Jody. You deserve the best of everything. Love and BIG hugs back. 🙂
Great picture. I used to live in Charleston, S.C. which is just as pretty. Sandee, I have been without internet for two days and that is why I have been absent. But we are back now. Sandee, you and Zane have a fantastic day.
I’m sorry your Internet was down for two days, but I’m happy iti’s back up and your in business again. 🙂
Myrtle Beach is a very nice place. I was there many years ago.
Lucky you, Binky. 🙂
I’ve heard of Myrtle Beach through my X-Boss. His wife was a golf pro & when he retired he turned the same. They went to Myrtle Beach a lot. So, they have amusement parks too? Then my husband might consider it, but all this pic tells me is $ $ $ and we have 0 0 0! 🙁 Hubby has been laid off for two months now and it’s that old Italian disease and my dad use to say, “Myfundsalow”!!! ~snicker-snicker~ Thank you for the my very first birthday song of the day!!! You’re duh best! Big hugs… also need to tell you about the scam call I got this morning… but I think I’ll put it in a Post tomorrow because there’s some info everyone should have. THANKS AGAIN FOR THE BIRTHDAY WISHES MY FRIEND! BIG HUGS… No plans for today… I did make smoothies though this morning for hubby and I. ~hehehe~ Birthday treat!
I hope your hubby can find a great job soon. Makes on antsy when there isn’t any money coming in.
You’re most welcome for the happy birthday song. 🙂
Sadly, I’ve only driven through Myrtle Beach, but never stayed there. Driving to Cape Code with my husband, you’re lucky if you get to stop to pee now and then. He HAS to make good time instead of enjoying the trip.
I’ve been on vacation with people like that. It wasn’t fun. It’s not the destination, it’s the journey. 🙂
Thanks or the add. I’m getting ready to go through the list. It’s been awhile since I’ve had time to participate, I am loving summer already!
I was surprised to see a WW post from you. It made me smile. 🙂
That looks like a nice place to vacation.
It would be a fun place for a bunch of bloggers to meet. Did that once in Miami. 🙂
like your Wordless Wednesday. Put my link in. Enjoy the post.
I always enjoy your posts, Crystal. You have so much wildlife to enjoy. 🙂
Thanks. I hope to have a picture of a fawn soon. When I don’t know.
It looks like a great place to visit!
Not as lovely as where you and hubby are this week. You enjoy your respite. 🙂
I can’t believe I have never been to S.Carolina!
I’ve not been there either. I made it to Miami and that’s as far as it went. 🙂
I’ve heard lots of great things about Myrtle beach, I haven’t been but it’s defiantly on my list. I hope you are having great week Sandee 🙂
You’re the world traveler too. You’ve many places to visit and explore. It’s a good thing. You have a great week, Mary. 🙂
Myrtle Beach is a beautiful place. We thought about living there except too many big storms go through that area. I had enough hurricane activity when I lived in Florida.
The storms would chase me away too. I’m not into those kinds of storms. 🙂
When we lived in S.C. we went to Myrtle Beach several times. Great beach area.
I would love to visit someday. 🙂
I’ve heard of Myrtle Beach but have never been there.
One of the few places you’ve not visited. 🙂
Hi Sandee, I wouldn’t say no to a holiday there after the summer here. I wouldn’t want to live in a house that big though, far too much cleaning to be done.
xx
I agree, you’d have to have help to keep this place clean. We have a house that’s too big and it’s nowhere near as big as these houses. 🙂
Thanks for the party. I added a fun WW. Please feel free to come back and link your party(s)
at The Fabulous Party. It goes all week Sunday to Sunday. It’s over here:

Thanks, Sherry. Have a fabulous day and weekend. 🙂
