Wordless Wednesday

WW is a simple blog post featuring a photo which conveys a message that speaks for itself without using words.

For all the rule breakers, of which I am one, please feel free to add all the words you want.

Sometimes I prefer the mail and I do not have it active on my phone.
Probably I’m a little crazy. Not even FB on phone! May I add that the
virtual life is not so good for our soul!
Happy WW, dear Sandee! Hugs and joy in Autumn!❤️😘

  2. Ann says:

Those numbers are mind blowing. Emails are wonderful but there’s nothing quite like an actual piece of mail in your mailbox. Of course that doesn’t apply to the bills.

  3. Alana says:

As much as I love the convenience of email, I still am sad about the passing of snail mail correspondence. Letter writing was an art, back in the day, and, except for the occasional chain letter, free of spam. Alana ramblinwitham

Those stats are wild, Sandee! 🌐 It’s amazing how much happens online in just a single second.
Makes me appreciate the quiet joy of a handwritten letter even more–no spam, no notifications, just a little piece of someone’s time and heart. 💌 Happy WW!

Interesting facts. I still have my original aol account from 1998 so I hear “you’ve got mail” every day. 🙂 Thank you for hosting. Have a nice day. XO

Since I am older than dirt, I must share my recollection of first ever fax received in my office. Everyone in the office was standing around waiting for the ‘delivery’ of the first fax. The machine rang we all jumped and lo and behold we cheered.
    Hugs cecilia

    • Sandee says:

I hear you and I’m older than dirt too. I remember the new things that came on the scene and we were so impressed. Faxes were one of those thing. Happy day and rest of the week, my friend. Love and hugs. 🙂

  7. Suzette Benjamin says:

The internet has come a long way in a short time, even faster these days, it seems. I had no idea of these numbers, Sandee, but they make total sense.

Thank you for all you do to support bloggers and blog hops, dear friend.

Happy Wordless Wednesday! Peace to you.

  8. Debbie D. says:

That sure is a lot of online activity! I think email has declined a bit in popularity though, as people do more texting. Interesting statistics, nonetheless. Happy Wednesday, Sandee, and thanks for hosting the link party. 🌹

    • Sandee says:

You’re right about texting. Like land lines. There aren’t many of those anymore. Happy day and rest of the week, Debbie. Thanks for linking up today. 🙂

  9. Mr. Ohh! says:

I hate both emails and texts. I have a phone in my pocket. Call Me!!! It’s amazing how we created this great communication device and don’t use it to communicate. 🤣😎🙃

  10. Pat says:

The internet has become an amazing tool hasn’t it? It comes with both good and bad so caution is always advised and probably even more so as time advances with AI

  11. CatSynth says:

That’s a wild stat about emails per second. But not surprising, given how we are all drowning in spam email.
It’s still lovely to hear from friends and family, though, and conduct business so conveniently.

  12. barbara says:

That is amazing how many emails are sent, but that is world wide i suppose. I get blog post notices by email mostly. Except WP is glitchy in that I don’t get a lot of them (like yours!!!) and I have to go hunting for it. I usually find it! Yay 🙂

  13. Kitties Blue says:

That is so interesting. Assuming these are worldwide statistics, I would have expected more Google searches and more searches for porn per second. Thanks for linking us up. It’s probably dated, but it’s still amazing. Happy Wordless Wednesday. Scritches to the kitties, a smooch to Cooper Murphy and a big hug to you. 🙂

  14. Linda says:

Wow, Sandee, this is fascinating! The numbers!!! Thank you so much for sharing, and I want to thank you for adding my blog link to your post today, I really appreciate you so much!
