Wordless Wednesday

WW is a simple blog post featuring a photo which conveys a message that speaks for itself without using words.

For all the rule breakers, of which I am one, please feel free to add all the words you want.

Make sure you leave a link to your post and Iโ€™ll visit your Wordless Wednesday post.

Our Home

This spring hubby and I started updating our home. We had some dryrot in some of the eaves and fixed that. Then we put on a new roof. The painters showed up and powerwashed the outside and then painted the house. Then the gutter folks put up new gutters. Lastly the landscaper transformed our ugly yard into a most beautiful place to enjoy.

Linking up with a bunch of fantastic peeps from the blogosphere who host Wordless Wednesday โ€“ Betty, image-in-ing, Keith, Senior Salon, Esme Salon, CatSynth, and Suzana.

OH, brilliant makeover for your lovely house!!! And a perfect garden to wander in and just “flaner”, as the French do….wander, look, smell, think, amble, do absolutely nothing except BE.

I do that all the time. It’s all one level and the driveway has pavers. It goes from the garage all the way around to the end of the patio. Love it. ๐Ÿ™‚

WOW! You have a gorgeous house and yard and there’s nothing more invigorating than turning a tired home into a perky, updated, beauty of a place to “hang your hat” !! It’s stunning – truly.

    Hugs, Pam (and Teddy too)

We’ve updated all the rooms too, several years ago. It’s a new home for the most part. Happy WW and rest of the week. Scritches to the pups. ๐Ÿ™‚

It’s so nice that you both succeeded such a beautiful ‘updating’ of your home.
The front it’s elegant and beautiful. And it’s nice that there is no fence. This is a rule in town?
Happy WW, dear Sandee. I wish you a beautiful Celebration Season, because I’ll skip some games.
Hugs, light and joy, my friend!โค๏ธ๐Ÿ˜˜

We have fences, but you can’t see them. You can’t get to our front door unless we unlock the gate. We like that very much. Love and hugs, my friend. ๐Ÿ™‚

    • Sandee says:

You’re right about that. Every single time I’m amazed at the transformation from drab to beautiful. Happy WW and rest of the week. Scritches to the kitties. ๐Ÿ™‚

What a lovely home! Happy for you that you got all those updates and hope you all enjoy it for a long time to come.
We have to do some big updates here at CatSynth HQ next year (a little more complicated because we’re an apartment condo in a larger building, but it will be great to get it done).

What a wonderful job all the workers did. Your home is just beautiful, and so is the front yard. We started getting the same on ours about a year ago – power washing, painting, new gutters and gutter covers, new roof (covered by insurance!). It’s the garage and yard that are still a big mess.

    • Sandee says:

We vowed we were going to get it all done during spring and summer. It was all finished the end of August. We’re so happy with the new look. Happy WW and rest of the week. Scritches to the pups and a hug to mom. ๐Ÿ™‚

We hired the best to do the work. Lots of research to make sure we were getting the best. We are so happy with the results. Both inside and out. Love and hugs to you and Kit and scritches to all the kitties. ๐Ÿ™‚

It’s our dreamhouse. We lived in a double wide mobile home before moving here. We loved that home too, but this one is far nicer. Double Pawkisses to you both and a big hug to Granny. ๐Ÿ™‚

A very beautiful home, Sandee. You are very blessed. And all the work you had done, makes it even more fabulous. I love the beautiful stonework on the walkway and the color is superb.
Happy Wordless Wednesday, much love to you, dear friend. Hugs.

Wow and wow again! I know you also had work done on the inside, we get to see how pretty it is in your pictures of your babies.

Please give those two scritches from me and you and Mr. Zane have a blessed and beautiful week.

    • Sandee says:

We love how it turned out. Glad the work is done and so are the kitties. You and Mr. Sweetie have a blessed and beautiful week, too. Love and hugs. ๐Ÿ™‚

Your home is just lovely. Upkeep can be expensive but it’s still such a blessing to have a home. I gave up on it (for now, maybe forever because it doesn’t matter so much now). My son’s a senior in high school. He doesn’t even remember living in a home. We got this small apartment and never could get out of it (teacher’s salary was just too low after rents doubled and houses did more than that). It was the one thing that I wanted so badly and now it really just doesn’t matter. He’s about to grow up and go out on his own, and a small apartment with just me will be fine. shrugs We had a happy life here, but we sure could have used some more room.

    • Sandee says:

Yes it can be expensive to keep things in good repair, but we love our home and want it to be a special place for all of us to live. Happy day and rest of the week, my friend. Love and hugs. ๐Ÿ™‚
