WW is a simple blog post featuring a photo which conveys a message that speaks for itself without using words.
For all the rule breakers, of which I am one, please feel free to add all the words you want.

Wyn Monath
The Saxons had a name for October, too. Theirs was Wyn Monath, which translated into โwine monthโ because it was the time of the year for making wine. Iโm not sure about you, but I think October just became my favorite month! Source: The Facts Site

I had no idea! Now there is another reason for loving October.
-Soma
I had no idea either, but I love October more than ever. ๐
I’ve heard wine improves with age… just like we do!! ๐
Have a wonderful day!
I hear you. I am far better now than I used to be. Happy Wednesday, my friend. ๐
Well how about that. I don’t drink much alcohol but if I do it’s wine.
We love champagne the best. Wine is good. ๐
as for ME, I am having a WHINE month. ha ha
You can have whatever kind of month you want. You earned it. ๐
The wyn spelling seems much more fancy and appropriate then wine. Mom doesn’t drink but we know lots of people are into wine.
Wine is very popular. It is a more fancy spelling. Scritches to the pups. ๐
I live close to New York wine country but haven’t indulged in a while. Maybe next October! Alana ramblinwitham
I live close to Napa valley wine country. Lots of great wineries to explore. ๐
Another reason to love October. Happy Wednesday, and cheers! ๐ท๐ท
I agree with you. I love October for so many reasons. Happy Wednesday, my friend. Hugs. ๐
๐
My hubby used to make wine every year around now or maybe a bit before when the Concord grapes were ripe. Thanks for hosting. Have a nice day. XO
Way cool. Wine making is an art. Happy Wordless Wednesday and rest of the week, Ellen. ๐
What an interesting fact. We like October a little bit more now, too. Happy Wednesday, Sandee!๐
We like October a lot more now. Happy Wordless Wednesday, my friend. ๐
Interesting fact. I’ve always asssociated October with beer. Of course wine makes sense too. It’s just that I never tought about it. ๐คฃ๐๐
I didn’t know about beer, but that’s another reason to love October. ๐
Either way, October has always been my favorite. Beer, wine, fresh vegetables, tree fruit, autumn colors, and a great man was born in October. ๐คฃ๐๐
In Wombanian, October translates to “Chocolate Month.”
I like chocolate more than wine. Happy Wombat Day, my friends. ๐
October is my favorite month too. I am all about the colors, gentle breezes and sitting on the back porch with a nice glass of wine w/o skeeters buzzing all around me
Hugs to humans and kitties
Cecilia
I love October very much too. It’s Indian Summer here. Love and hugs to you and Kit and scritches to the kitties. ๐
We learn so much from you!
I do my best. Happy Wordless Wednesday and rest of the week. Scritches to the girls. ๐
I did not know October was wine month. Guess I better get to drinking some!
We do champagne here. Happy Wednesday and rest of the week. Scritches to the kitties. ๐
I knew there was a reason I loved October! LOL
Same here. I love October for many reasons. Scritches to the pups. ๐
The Saxons had it going on!
They sure did. I approve. Happy Wednesday. ๐
I didn’t know that. Suddenly October is my favorite month too.
It’s my favorite month too. Happy Wednesday, my friend. ๐
Happy Wine Month!!!
Happy Wine month to you, too. Scritches to the kitties. ๐
Wish I could still enjoy Wyn Monath the way I used to, but my old brain will not let me consume the “fruit of the vine” if it’s fermented. Never been drunk in my life, but enough alcohol to mess with my brain cells! Now, you’re making grief for everyone who is celebrating “Sober October!”๐
Those that don’t drink have my backing for sure. I just thought it was an interesting piece of history. Happy Wordless Wednesday and rest of the week. ๐
Another reason to favor October ~ tasty wine ~
Hugs and love from me and Ziggy ~ xo

Yes indeed. I loved October already, but this makes me love it even more. ๐
Oh, we love it, Sandee, our whole garden smells like wine in October, harvestwine…MOL..๐๐ทDouble Pawkisses for a Happy Day and week ahead to you, Zane and the kitties too๐พ๐ฝ๐
I love it too. Double Pawkisses to you both and a big hug to Granny. ๐
Of course, every month is wine month at CatSynth HQ. Cheers ๐ท๐ท
It is here too. It’s a good thing. ๐
I’m not really a wine drinker, but I do love the look of the deep purple and red grapes on the vine! October is a beautiful month.
October is a beautiful month indeed. We do enjoy a glass of wine now and then. Happy Wednesday and rest of the week. ๐
The translation from the Saxon language to ours sounds very close. The closest I come to wine is grape juice each morning which I really like, so I’m not sure if wine can really improve upon what I already enjoy. Scientists contradict themselves quite often. First it is wine is good for you, now they’re saying it’s not. I’ll just stick to my non-alcoholic plain Jane grape juice to reap most if not all the same benefits. I like the picture and the factoid! Thanks for dropping by today, dear Sandee. xo
I never listen to the scientists about food. They are often wrong. We do enjoy a glass of wine now and then. We don’t get drunk though. That’s very counterproductive. Happy WW and rest of the week, my wonderful friend. Hugs. ๐
A glass of wine isn’t bad. You’re being responsible. I don’t get the appeal of getting drunk. All judgement is lost, you do stupid or embarrassing things, and you feel awful the next day. Where’s the fun in that?
Oktoberfest beer and wine…nope, can’t get much better. Well, except for all the polka dancing!
I agree with you. Happy Wednesday and rest of the week. Scritches to the pups. ๐
That is something I didn’t know, but it’s also Oktoberfest, so it makes perfect sense. ๐ On the other hand, hubby and I are both wine lovers (it’s our European heritage ๐), so every month is Wyn Monath. ๐
It sure does. I didn’t know this either and I thought it was worth sharing. Happy Wednesday and rest of the week. ๐
Cheers! I’ll drink to that. ๐ท
I’ll drink with you. Happy Wednesday, my friend. Big hug to you and lots of scritches to handsome Wilson. ๐
Oh, that is good to know! I love October; it is just so vibrant. Here where I am, the days grow shorter and the weather is totally different each day, which is like an adventure! Wine making and its traditions are so rich and diverse; it is a great area of research (not drinking research). Thank you, Sandee.
Happy Wordless Wednesday. Much love and hugs to you. Cheers.
I love October as you do. It rained this morning and now the sun is out. Never know what the weather holds this time of year. Love and hugs. ๐
So true, I enjoy do it though. Thanks Sandee. Love and hugs to you also.
October is my favorite month but it has nothing to do with wine, even if I did drink it.
I love October too. I love the warm colors of fall. ๐
Love to enjoy a sip occasionally,
Thank you, Sandee, for the weekly linkup party. Happy #WW.
My entries this week #45+46
Hope you will join ES #WW https://esmesalon.com/tag/wordlesswednesday/ NOW OPEN
We enjoy a sip now and then too. Happy WW and rest of the week. ๐
A new reason to celebrate October. I do not like beer, so Oktoberfest never appealed to me, but I could get behind this. Thanks, as always, Sandee for linking us up. And Cooper says, โthanksโ for the birthday wishes. XOCK, angels Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona & Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy, Sawyer, Kizmet, Audrey & Raleigh
I’ll join you. Wine is good. Tell Cooper Murphy I love him. Scritches to the kitties, a smooch to Cooper Murphy and Sawyer and a big hug to you. ๐
Very civilised!
Very. Happy Wordless Wednesday, my friend. ๐
Also I mucked up my linking and linked YOU. Ha! Sorry.
I deleted the first one. It’s all good. Happy Wordless Wednesday. Hugs. ๐
For health (and medicine) reasons, I do not partake, but my Sweetie agrees with you!
You and Mr. Zane have a great rest of your week, hugs to you both and scritches to Lil’ Bit and Squeaker.
We don’t drink much and not drinking is a good good thing. Love and hugs my friend. ๐
Interesting, Glad to read.
It’s very interesting. Happy Wordless Wednesday and rest of the week. ๐
Just the excuse I needed for an extra glass or two during what remains of this month!
Hubby and I will join you. Happy rest of the week. ๐
I didn’t know that! I always learn something from you. Thank you!
I love these tidbits of information. Happy rest of the week, Lux. ๐
Pawesome info Sandee, who knew, well obviously mew did! MOL Thank mew so furry much for adding our links this week, we really appreciate it, and wish mew a truly epic weekend! ๐ป๐พ๐ป๐พ๐ป
We all know now. Have a fabulous day and weekend, my friend. Big hug to you and lots of scritches to the kitties. ๐
We live in the middle of North GA wine country! So many beautiful vineyards nearby.
Wine countries are a wonderful adventure. Love to you and scritches to the kitties. ๐
Cheers ๐
Cheers to you, my friend. ๐
We ended up being in Florence Italy on the day they were Blessing the new wine. It was quite October but almost, it was 27 Sep.
Way cool. What an adventure. ๐
Cool fact! Be well, my dear.
It is indeed and especially if you love wine. Hugs. ๐
