Wordless Wednesday

WW is a simple blog post featuring a photo which conveys a message that speaks for itself without using words.

All About Stars

There are more stars in space than there are grains of sand in the world. There are 10 times more stars in the night sky than grains of sand on the Earth, with 70 sextillion stars being visible from Earth through a telescope. To put that in numbers, 70 sextillion is this: 70,000,000,000,000,000,000,000. Source: The Fact Site

Fantastic image. It’s so nice to watch the stars, but in town it’s so complicated due to the lights.
Hugs, dear Sandee! Happy WW and a fine week!❤️😘

OMC that is absolutely brilliant and we are so glad to have that illuminating info…thank you. Love imagining the number of starts and galaxies and other worlds about which we know nothing….yet…..

That is a beautiful photo – it’s an amazing fact that we are on this planet among many others in such an endless space……it’s peaceful if we LET it be……and we hope everyone wants it to be !

    Hugs, Pam and Teddy

It’s peaceful. I refuse to let anyone drag me into their negative drama. Love and hugs to you and lots of scritches to handsome Teddy. 🙂

We have dark sky here and I love to see the stars. Those facts are amazing. It is impossible to get my head around those numbers! Beautiful serene photo too.

Wonderful photo. Love the amazing trivia. I did not know that there were so many stars… the heavens like Earth are majestic. Happy Wordless Wednesday, Sandee. Much love and hugs to you.

That is a lot of stars. I love looking up into a star filled sky. When I was working, I would walk out to the car in the morning and if you could see all the stars it always made me think of the Don McLean song, Vincent.

I’ve lived in cities most all of my life, but I lived for four years in a rural environment, where I was able to see the Milky Way on occasion. What a wonderful and awesome sight it was. Loved the picture you posted. Alana ramblinwitham

Beautiful view of the starts on the beach. It’s often so cloudy here (plus the light pollution) that I don’t get to see them that often. I took advantage of seeing the night sky when I was out in the desert.

  9. Cecilia Upchurch says:

WOW that is a lot of zeros!!! I cannot even imagine the beauty of the night sky in a location w/o all the city lights. Just lovely
    Hugs x 4

I was raised in the country and got to see the stars often. So beautiful and so many. Love and hugs to you and Kit and lots of scritches to the kitties. 🙂
