All About Stars
There are more stars in space than there are grains of sand in the world. There are 10 times more stars in the night sky than grains of sand on the Earth, with 70 sextillion stars being visible from Earth through a telescope. To put that in numbers, 70 sextillion is this: 70,000,000,000,000,000,000,000. Source: The Fact Site

Fantastic image. It’s so nice to watch the stars, but in town it’s so complicated due to the lights.
Hugs, dear Sandee! Happy WW and a fine week!❤️😘
We are but a dot in the universe. Love and hugs, Sweet Suzana. You have a fine rest of the week. 🙂
OMC that is absolutely brilliant and we are so glad to have that illuminating info…thank you. Love imagining the number of starts and galaxies and other worlds about which we know nothing….yet…..
You’re most welcome. I found it most amazing. Happy rest of the week. 🙂
That’s a whole lot and they are so beautiful shining away and visible at night!
I agree with you, Duke. Amazing when you’re out in the country and can see all the stars. 🙂
We love to watch the stars, it gives so much peace✨Double Pawkisses for a Happy Day and week ahead, for you, dear Sandee and for your hubby and the kitties too🐾😽💞
It gives me peace too. Double Pawkisses to you both and lots of love and hugs to Granny. 🙂
That is a beautiful photo – it’s an amazing fact that we are on this planet among many others in such an endless space……it’s peaceful if we LET it be……and we hope everyone wants it to be !
Hugs, Pam and Teddy
It’s peaceful. I refuse to let anyone drag me into their negative drama. Love and hugs to you and lots of scritches to handsome Teddy. 🙂
I like to see sky 😀
I do too Kinga. It’s peaceful and puts things into perspective. 🙂
All we can say is, that is crazy! The number is way too big to even contemplate.
I hear you. Way past what I can comprehend. Happy WW and rest of the week. 🙂
We have dark sky here and I love to see the stars. Those facts are amazing. It is impossible to get my head around those numbers! Beautiful serene photo too.
I can’t get my head around those numbers either. Puts things into perspective though. Love and hugs, Jackie. 🙂
Wonderful photo. Love the amazing trivia. I did not know that there were so many stars… the heavens like Earth are majestic. Happy Wordless Wednesday, Sandee. Much love and hugs to you.
I didn’t know this either. I love these wonderful tidbits. Love and hugs to you my sweet friend. 🙂
Thank you dear friend. Peace and blessings to you.
That is a lot of stars. I love looking up into a star filled sky. When I was working, I would walk out to the car in the morning and if you could see all the stars it always made me think of the Don McLean song, Vincent.
It sure is, Ann. I love star gazing too. Love and hugs to you and lots of scritches to Gibbs. 🙂
That’s amazing. Glad to read. Loved this Awesome pic.
It is amazing. Happy Wordless Wednesday and rest of the week, my friend. 🙂
love that picture OH WOW
It’s most heavenly for sure. Happy Wednesday. 🙂
Love the trivia, and what a gorgeous photo. I love star gazing. Happy Wednesday! Hugs.
I love star gazing too. Happy Wednesday, my friend. Hugs. 🙂
Hugs back, Sandee! 🫠
Wow. That’s a heck of a lot of stars! Knowing that will make stargazing even more awe-inspiring. Happy Wednesday, dear Sandee!🙂
You’re right about that. I had no idea. Happy Wednesday, my friend. 🙂
I’ve lived in cities most all of my life, but I lived for four years in a rural environment, where I was able to see the Milky Way on occasion. What a wonderful and awesome sight it was. Loved the picture you posted. Alana ramblinwitham
I’m a country girl. I love seeing the stars on a clear night. Happy Wordless Wednesday, Alana. 🙂
Interesting facts. I did not know any of these. Thanks for hosting. Have a nice day. XO
I didn’t know this either. Big hug to you and lots of scritches to all your precious kitties. 🙂
It’ hard to comprehend a number that large, and the number of planets out there is likely many times that.
We are just a speck in the scheme of things. Good to know. Happy day and rest of the week, my friend. 🙂
The night sky is so fascinating!
It sure is and I’ve always enjoyed star gazing. Happy Wednesday and rest of the week. Scritches to the kitties. 🙂
Cool facts!
I thought so too. Happy WW and rest of the week. Scritches to the kitties. 🙂
I wish we didn’t have so much light pollution here so we could star gaze.
Nothing like star gazing out in the country. Happy WW and rest of the week. Scritches to the kitties. 🙂
That is a beautiful Picture. These words are nessessary. 🤣😎🙃
I always break the rules on Wordless Wednesday. Thanks for playing along. 🙂
Great info and awesome photo ~ thanks,
Hugs and love to you and your family from me and Ziggy ~ xo
I thought so too, Carol. Love and hugs to you and handsome Ziggy. 🙂
What a lovely photo. I leave wiser than I was when I arrived, thank you!
That’s my goal. Little tidbits of information we didn’t know. Happy WW and rest of the week, Keith. 🙂
Beautiful view of the starts on the beach. It’s often so cloudy here (plus the light pollution) that I don’t get to see them that often. I took advantage of seeing the night sky when I was out in the desert.
I love star gazing and love being out in the countryside. Just better than any city in my opinion. Happy WW and rest of the week. 🙂
WOW that is a lot of zeros!!! I cannot even imagine the beauty of the night sky in a location w/o all the city lights. Just lovely
Hugs x 4
Cecilia
I was raised in the country and got to see the stars often. So beautiful and so many. Love and hugs to you and Kit and lots of scritches to the kitties. 🙂
What a beautiful photo! Thank you for sharing it and the info. Have a great Wednesday and rest of the week!
Nothing better than star gazing. You have a great Wordless Wednesday and rest of the week, Yvonne. 🙂
I knew there were a lot stars, but certainly not that many!! Wonder how many have planets that support life??
We know so little about the vast universe. So little. Happy WW and rest of the week. Scritches to the pups and a hug to mom. 🙂
Amazing facts, love checking out your intro’s weekly. Thank you, Sandee, for the linkup party. Happy #WW.

What a beautiful image and such cool info! That’s a whole lot of stars. 🙂
Lots of stars. Love and hugs, my friend. 🙂
And The Lord knows all their names, and doesn’t consider us insignificant at all. Everything is important to Him, since He created everything.
You’re right about that. Happy Wordless Wednesday and rest of the week. Love and hugs, my friend. 🙂
Whoa, that’s wild! Hard to even wrap my head around a number like that. The universe is unreal!
I had the same problem. Makes the earth very small. 🙂
Absolutely love star-gazing!
We do, too. Happy day and rest of the week. 🙂
Wow, that is a lot of stars. Comparing it to granules of sand really puts it in perspective. Have a happy day!
It sure does. You have a happy day and rest of the week, my friend. 🙂
Whoa, that’s a factoid that simply blows my mind! Talk about perspective! Happy mid-week, Sandee.
It blew my mind, too. Big hug to you and scritches to Wilson. 🙂
