WW is a simple blog post featuring a photo which conveys a message that speaks for itself without using words.
For all the rule breakers, of which I am one, please feel free to add all the words you want.

Chocolate Milk
7% of American adults believe that chocolate milk comes from brown cows. I know that seven percent doesn’t sound like a lot, but it actually works out at 16.4 million American adults, which is an alarming fact! This shows that one in ten Americans has a flawed understanding of basic science or where their food comes from. Source: The Fact Site
Linking up with a bunch of fantastic peeps from the blogosphere who host Wordless Wednesday – Betty, Steve, image-in-ing, Keith, Senior Salon, Esme Salon, CatSynth, and Suzana.

Given what some people believe these days, why am I not surprised?
I’m not surprised either. So sad. A big hug to you and lots of scritches to handsome Wilson. 🙂
I’m pretty sure I know some of those people
I know some of these people too. Big hug, Ann. 🙂
People are so damn stupid! haha!
You’re right about that. 🙂
So many of us are separated from the food growers, and I was one of them in my New York City youth. In fact, I never saw a vegetable garden until I was a teenager, and experienced true fresh veggies for the first time. We need a lot more food education for our youth and adults. Alana ramblinwitham
You’re so right about that, Alana. Well said. Happy Wordless Wednesday. 🙂
Yes, it sounds alarming. And if this it is possible with milk chocolate, I am not surprised
by the wrong interpretations of other subjects more complicated. Thank you for sharing the site.
I’ll explore it!
Happy WW, dear Sandee! Have a fine week, with pleasant sweets! Hugs and thank you
for the Blog Hop!❤️😘
It sure is, Suzana. Have a fabulous Wordless Wednesday and rest of the week, my friend. Hugs. 🙂
Good grief, that is amazing!! If you had said 1% I would still have been astounded by that fact!
I hear you, Jackie. Happy Wordless Wednesday, my friend. Love and hugs. 🙂
Kind of crazy to believe that but people believe a lot of WEIRD things (maybe because there ARE a lot of weird things around these days??????).
Hugs, Pam and Teddy too
There is a lot of weirdness going on. Big hug to you and lots of scritches to handsome Teddy. 🙂
That is pretty funny☺
It’s pretty sad too. Have a woof woof day, Duke. 🙂
Oh my dog, that is crazy! Mom thought that when she was a little girl but her parents told her it wasn’t true. How can people really believe that?
I have no idea how folks can believe this. Amazes me too. Happy Wordless Wednesday. 🙂
I think people can be made to believe almost anything these days. Chocolate milk…from brown cows? Sigh.
Sigh is right. I’m sighing with you. Happy Wordless Wednesday. 🙂
That’s an astounding fact. 7%? Funny and scary at the same time! Have a great day, Sandee.😊
Sad and scary to me. I found it most amazing. You have a great day too, my friend. 🙂
That’s amazing! I can understand believing chocolate milk comes from brown cows when you are a child, but as an adult – yikes! Happy Wednesday!
Yikes is right. It’s a most amazing factoid. Happy Wednesday, my friend. Hugs. 🙂
Hugs backatcha! 🫠
People really believe that?
Apparently so. Amazing. Happy Wednesday and rest of the week. 🙂

Let’s cry together on this one. So sad. Happy Wordless Wednesday, my friend. Love and hugs. 🙂
LOL Okay, sounds good to me. Happy Wordless Wednesday, Sandee! Love and hugs. 🩷🌸
I’m with everyone else who noted that this isn’t so unbelieveable considering what so many folks in this country believe to be true. Thanks for sharing this weird fact!
Many believe things that amaze me. It’s the way of things. Scritches to the pups and a big hug to mom. 🙂
Everyone should know chocolate milk comes from chocolate cows, not brown ones.
Bwahahahahaha. You always make me laugh. Happy Wednesday, my friend. 🙂
Let’s face it, we now have a large group of Americans who can’t correctly identiy their own gender!
There is that. Happy Wordless Wednesday, my friend. Scritches to Miss Lucy. 🙂
They way things are today I’m surprised the number is not higher. It’s sure sad.
I agree with you. So sad. Happy WW and rest of the week, my friend. Scritches to all the kitties. 🙂
Thanks for hosting! We are rulebreakers this week! Lol
I’m a rulebreaker every week. It’s all good. Scritches to the pups. 🙂
Are you telling me it doesn’t? Well, that’s something I’ve learned today!

I think it is the dumbing down of America. So sad. Love and hugs to you and Ziggy. 🙂
That statistic is very disturbing. But sadly, not all the surprising given the situation we find ourselves in.
It sure is. Happy Wordless Wednesday. 🙂
Chocolate milk, I used to love so much. Milk is not something my tummy takes to anymore. But I have to ask since you have a white cow up there, don’t choc milk come from brown cows!! lol
I rarely have milk, unless it’s in ice cream. I have way too much ice cream. Happy WW and rest of the week, Pam. Scritches to the girls. 🙂
Sandee,Well you can’t fix Stupid. I’m glad that it is only 7 percent that believe chocolate milk come from brown cows. Mine’s up it two places to see here in Ohio!!
You can’t fix stupid for sure. I enjoyed your post, Mike. I want to see the Field of Cron. Happy WW and rest of the week. Scritches to Screwball. 🙂
That’s unbelievable, but I guess not really surprising. People believe anything these days.
You’re right about that. People believe in many strange things these days. Happy rest of the week, Yvonne. 🙂
Seriously? 😲 That is definitely alarming – and surprising!
It is indeed, but those that live in the cities rarely know what goes on out in the countryside. Happy week. 🙂
Hard to believe
Thanks, dear Sandee, for the party. Happy #WW Hump Day.
My entries this week #56+57
Hope you will join ES #WW https://esmesalon.com/tag/wordlesswednesday/ NOW OPEN
I found it rather amazing. Happy Wordless Wednesday. Thank you for all you do. 🙂
Well that’s just scary LOL.
It is indeed. Happy Wednesday and rest of the week. Scritches to the precious pups. 🙂
Not surprised AT ALL!
I wasn’t either. I just didn’t think it was that many people. Happy WW and rest of the week. 🙂
That is alarming. It also begs the question, Where do those people think strawberry milk comes from? 🙂
I hadn’t thought about that. We need to ask that 7% and they can tell us. Happy rest of the week. 🙂
Sandee that is truly mind blowing??!! You might need to do some Tuesday quotes on that. LOL MOL
I’m running late this morning we had a new fridge delivered (after 2 1/2 months of waiting), Delivery and removal went well just a few hiccups.
One guy will be back after 5pm to finish with the icemaker.
Needed a part that wasn’t with it.
Hugs x 4
Cecilia
Having a new fridge is a good thing. It will all be working in no times. Happy WW and rest of the week, my friend. Love and hugs. 🙂
So many today have not had the experience of farm-to-table, so it makes sense. It is a blessing to know where one’s food comes from or, at least how its is prepared/made. Great share as always Sandee.
Happy Wordless Wednesday, dear friend. Cheers.
It makes sense to me too. I was raised on a dairy farm so we knew about many things. Happy Wordless Wednesday and rest of the week, my friend. Hugs. 🙂
So true. Thank you Sandee. Happy Wordless Wednesday bliss and a wonderful rest of the week, dear friend. Hugs back to you!
Holy crap! Who are those people?? That’s just crazy. I wonder what part of the country had the most believers in that!
I don’t know, but it surprised me. Happy rest of the week, Karen. Love you, bunches. 🙂
Chocolate Milk sounds good! Funny Story!
Chocolate milk is a most wonderful thing to drink. Happy WW and rest of the week, Heidi. 🙂
Seriously, 7% of adults believe this? roll eyes I remember thinking this when I was in grade school but I soon learned chocolate milk did not come from cows. Boy, did I love that stuff! I rarely got white milk with my milk money at lunch. 🙂 Interesting and disturbing factoids to say the least. Happy Humpday!
It is disturbing. Many city folks don’t know where things come from with they are out in the country. Love and hugs, Cathy. 🙂
OMC🙈 and when the cow is shaking to much it gets sour too…😹Double Pawkisses for a Happy Day and Week ahead for you, dear Sandee, Zane and the kitties too🐾😽💞
You crack me up. Double Pawkisses to you both and a big hug to Granny. 🙂
LOL- I used for a Do Now with my students and they got it right. Thanks for hosting and I hope that you have a wonderful week.
I’m happy about that. You have a wonderful rest of the week, too. 🙂
It’s amazing how many people just don’t think. I pray you and Mr. Zane have a fabulous rest of the week, and please give pets to Lil’ Bit and Squeaker.
You’re right about that. You and Mr. Sweetie, have a fabulous rest of the week, too. Love and hugs. 🙂
Wow, that’s a surprising statistic! It really highlights the importance of education about where our food comes from. A little knowledge goes a long way!
I thought so, too. A little knowledge does go a long way. Happy Wordless Wednesday and rest of the week. 🙂
That is absolutely insane! We know lots of Americans are totally stupid, but this is amazing. Thanks for linking us up. XOCK, angels Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta & Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy, Sawyer, Kizmet, Audrey & Raleigh
You can’t fix stupid. Scritches to the kitties, a smooch to Cooper Murphy and Sawyer and a big hug to mom. 🙂
Redundant comment, I know, but no surprise here, especially nowadays…
It appears we all agree. Happy rest of the week. 🙂
