WW is a simple blog post featuring a photo which conveys a message that speaks for itself without using words.
For all the rule breakers, of which I am one, please feel free to add all the words you want.

Signs of Spring
Hubby took this picture the third week of February. The trees are already turning green.
Every spring California’s ubiquitous almond orchards present a charming display of pale pink blossoms. Tens of thousands of visitors flock to nearby cities like Modesto and Fresno to see the almond blooms at their best. As we look forward to some highly-anticipated blooms like the magnolias in San Francisco and calla lilies in Big Sur, it’s hard to choose a favorite… but you can’t beat the magic of our homegrown California almonds. Linking up with a bunch of fantastic peeps from the blogosphere who host Wordless Wednesday – Betty, Steve, image-in-ing, Keith, Senior Salon, Esme Salon, CatSynth, and Suzana.
OH! I’ve never seen the Calla Lilies until I clicked your link. Those are nice!!! We had magnolias in Michgan. They were very briefly in bloom but very pretty. My oldest had cherry blossoms everywhere when he was stationed in the military. Those were fantastic too!
In spring the world comes alive. I so enjoy spring each year. Happy day and rest of the week, my friend. 🙂
The blossom looks beautiful. I have got a small magnolia but it has only just started producing tiny shoots, so no action for a while!
Spring comes here pretty early. The trees are already turning green. About three weeks of blossoms though. Love and hugs, Jackie. 🙂
How beautiful! My corner of the UK is known for it’s apple orchards, not long now until the blossom appears!
I think we’re all ready for spring and all the beautiful blossoms. Happy WW Keith. 🙂
Gorgeous photos…..very “Springish” – we’re expecting bad storms to move through here today so hoping we don’t lose power. No Teaser Tell All today so no snacks available but we hope you visit us anyway!
Hugs, Teddy and Mom Pam
It’s raining and gloomy here today. We so want spring to arrive and stay. Happy WW and rest of the week. Big hug to you and lots of scritches to handsome Teddy. 🙂
How pretty they are. Spring is such a wonderful time of year. I used to have a pear tree in my back yard that was beautiful in the spring with all it’s blossoms. I hated that tree the rest of the year.
It is a wonderful time of year. I love spring and fall the very best. Happy day and rest of the week, my friend. A hug to you and scritches to Gibbs. 🙂
How pretty, Sandee. Spring is such a glorious time of the year. Happy Wednesday! Hugs.
I’m so ready for the warm and the beautiful colors of spring. Hugs. 🙂
Me too, Sandee! 🌸
We are happy to be in the midst of a big blizzard. It will only last a couple days but we will enjoy it. Beautiful apple blossoms.
I know how much you love the snow. Enjoy the romping. Happy WW and rest of the week. 🙂
Breathtakingly beautiful!
It’s hard to capture the acres and acres of almond blossoms. It’s breathtakingly beautiful indeed. 🙂
Beautiful. Zane took a great photo. Thanks for hosting. Have a nice day. XO
He’s pretty good with the camera. Me not at all. You have a nice day and rest of the week, Ellen. Big hug to you and lots of scritches to the kitties. 🙂
Such a beautiful sight!
We look forward to it each year. About mid February there are lots of blossoms. The promise of spring. 🙂
When I was still gainfully employed at NCSU, there was a student whose extended family owned an almond orchard. It was fascinating to hear about the farm in the Modesto area.
Hugs Cecilia
There are almond trees all over our area. Acres and acres. We love seeing the blossoms and drive around to enjoy them each year. Love and hugs. 🙂
That is beautiful. I help keep the industry in business with all the almond butter I eat! I eat it on celery every weekday morning for breakfast, and sometimes on the weekends, too.
Almonds are my favorite of all nuts. Delicious. Scritches to the pups and a big hug to you. 🙂
That looks beautiful! I do my part in eating almonds daily.
We thank you for that. Almonds are a huge part of our lives. Happy day and rest of the week. 🙂
wow!! in February! gorgeous view.
Yes in February. The trees are turning green now. We so enjoy the blossoms while they last. 🙂
Such a lovely spring image, Sandee! ❤️ It’s pouring rain here, melting all the snow. Thanks for hosting Wordless Wednesday. 🌹
It’s raining and gloomy here today. Lots of rain, but we need it. You’re most welcome on the hosting. Thank you for linking up. Hugs. 🙂
Orchards are beautiful when they bloom in the spring. Arkansas used to be the apple capitol of the US in the late 1800’s – early 1900’s. Now, most fruit orchards are small and more hobby homesteads rather than full blown commercial operations.
There are acres and acres of almonds here. Lots of nuts in this area. Trees and people. Happy WW and rest of the week, my friend. 🙂
Lovely!
It makes my heart happy every single year. Scritches to the kitties. 🙂
What a beautiful image. These moments of spring are magnificent!
Happy WW, dear Sandee!
Hugs and a fine week!❤️😘
They are magnificent indeed. I love the blossoms of spring. Hugs my friend. 🙂
Such a beautiful picture. Very much like spring. Happy Wednesday!
It warms up just enough for the blossoms to appear, then the cold returns. The cold is here now. 🙂
I love you my Only. Your Loving Husband.
I love you to the moon and back, my Only. 🙂
So beautiful! I love blossom in general, but I wouldn’t have thought California almonds with these trees. Stunning. It’s so heartening to see signs of spring being around the corner. I think many of us are in dire need of it after difficult times and a horribly long winter.
xx
These are indeed almond blossoms. There are acres and acres of almond trees here. The weather is back to winter here. It just warms up for a bit in February each year. 🙂
I didn’t realize the flowers were already out there. Definitely a sign of spring!
The trees turn green the first part of March and there are very few blossoms left. So beautiful. 🙂
Beautiful blossoms for my favorite nut almond! Aloha friend
Almonds are most beautiful and very delicious. I agree. Scritches to Pixie. 🙂
Thanks, Sandee, thank you for hosting. Awesome SPRING pic, hope to see spring here soon

Lovely blossoms! It’s always exciting to see signs of spring after a cold long winter! Hope your Wednesday has been good so far. <3
It always makes my heart happy to see the blossoms each year. It means winter is coming to an end. Hugs. 🙂
Mom is hoping to see the pretty redbuds and magnolias in bloom here, but not quite yet. We just had BIG winds and blizzard like snow. But it is warming up and the snow is melting, much to OUR chagrin.
Woos – Misty and Timber
Some love the snow and others not at all. I know you love the snow. Happy Wordless Wednesday and rest of the week. A hug to you and lots of scritches to the precious pups. 🙂
I love this moment of spring. It hasn’t arrived for me yet

It sure is. We get a taste of it each February and then winter returns. It’s cold and raining today. Gloomy and winter. You and Mr. Sweetie have a blessed day and rest of the week, my friend. Love and hugs. 🙂
What a beautiful shot of the almond trees. I miss driving down The I-5 in the Springtime!
There are lots of blossoms traveling down I-5 in the spring time. Happy WW. Scritches to the pups. 🙂
The start of spring is such a beautiful time of year. I love the blooming flowers and the birds singing in the morning. Thank you for sharing the gorgeous image!

Great shot by Zane of those almond trees! We love when everything starts blooming, too, though I think we’re still a few weeks off in our area. Happy Wednesday, Sandee!
Hubby is so good to me. The trees are turning green now. They sure were beautiful for a couple of weeks though. Happy Wednesday, my friend. 🙂
Wow, that’s gorgeous! 15 days and counting. Saw my first blooming spring bulbs this morning. Yay!

Lovely image, Sandee!
It’s a magical time for us. 🙂
I cannot wait for Spring! Here in PA it is firmly holding onto Winter and cold, and I am ready for sunshine and warmth! Have a wonderful week!
I’m ready for sunshine and warmth, too. 🙂
Beautiful. Spring is coming for us in Tn., not here yet but there are signs. Started taking allergy pills a couple weeks ago to try and prevent things from getting out of hand. I hate that the snuffy nose and runny eyes comes with such beauty.
Many of the almond trees are green now and the walnuts are starting to bloom. Good on getting the allergy meds started. Smart. Scritches to the kitties. ♥
So Beautiful ~
Hugs and love from me an Ziggy ~
