Wordless Wednesday

WW is a simple blog post featuring a photo which conveys a message that speaks for itself without using words.

For all the rule breakers, of which I am one, please feel free to add all the words you want.

Hubby and I don’t do the big meals anymore. This year we’re having meatloaf, potatoes and gravy and petite white corn. Happy rest of the week, Jackie. 🙂

We totally broke the rules, but we did keep it simple! Lol

I can remember spending three days of work to get this on the table. First day was shopping. The next day was prep day and the third day was cooking and serving. 🙂

Hi Sister. Great to see you and I’m so glad you’re playing along. I made Thanksgiving just like my mom did and when she couldn’t do it anymore the family came to my house for dinner. I’m so glad I learned how to make moms meals. 🙂

our classic TG menu is Golden Corral TG Buffet, or hamburgers and chips at home. stopped cooking TG and Christmas, when the kids no longer come for Christmas. not about to cook for 2 people. I depsise cooking, but love eating. all of this looks great to me

    That is quite the feast.

I hope you and Mr. Zane have a fabulous rest of the week and weekend, and scritches to Lil’ Bit.

We’re going to the boat on Friday and then on a cruise on Saturday. Supposed to rain, but our boat is waterproof. Happy rest of the week and weekend, my friend. I’ll give Lil’ Bit scritches from you. Hugs. 🙂

YUMMY!!!! Looking forward to Thanksgiving dinner. Problem, I don’t eat hardly anything but that is where rubbermaid comes in place…..take goodies home for meals later. My daughter cooks Thanksgiving dinner, I am taking a ham, taters, rolls, tea, cups and plates…..she can do the rest.

  7. Laurie says:

We don’t do the big turkey dinner most years anymore, either. More often hubby and I have a quiet dinner at home, more like yours with meatloaf or roast beef and mashed potatoes. I’m not sure what we’re doing this year…maybe going to my parents’ but probably either the day before or the day after Thanksgiving. We’ll probably eat out there.
