Wordless Wednesday

WW is a simple blog post featuring a photo which conveys a message that speaks for itself without using words.

For all the rule breakers, of which I am one, please feel free to add all the words you want.

Hubby and I wanted to visit Death Valley some years back and it didn’t work out.  A couple of weeks ago I booked a three night stay at the Inn at Death Valley.  We’re looking forward to visiting a place we’ve not been to in over two decades.

Linking up with a bunch of fantastic peeps from the blogosphere who host Wordless Wednesday – Betty, Steve, image-in-ing, Xmas Dolly, Keith, Cathy, Sara, Esme Salon, CatSynth, and Suzana.

It certainly looks like an oasis in the desert.
We like visiting new places with unique accommodations as well as returning to places that hold fond memories. Sometimes getting there isn’t as much fun as we remember. Have a wonderful visit.

It’s a beautiful place. The last time we were there we stayed in a motel. About a 2 on the scale of nice, but it’s all we could afford. We’re going to do the very best accommodations this time. Hugs. 🙂

This place looks terrific and hope you both have a fantastic time.
    Enjoy your Wednesday!

The images are quite spectacular, but I really do not understand the cause of the colour from
the second image. It’s an effect from the sun? It looks beautiful but so strange…
Happy WW, dear Sandee! Have a fabulous week ahead! ❤️😘

I love Death Valley! It’s a special, magical place for me. I have never stayed at the Inn, though.
Have fun! Of course, be careful with the extreme heat right now.

There is so much to do there. We didn’t have enough time to visit all the places we wanted to go last time. We’ll do them this time. 🙂

We’re heading to the boat tomorrow to spend three nights. Just read and enjoy the nice weather. No triple digit weather this weekend. Love and hugs. 🙂

Sandee, a few years back Steve & I had a bunch of funny Camels we sent back & forth & when I found the one with lipstick he split a gut & we’ve been joking about it ever since. LOL Just something to do to lift spirits! You & your boyfriend there have a wonderful romantic evening I’m about to soak in the tub for a bit & sooth this leg/back of mine. Then back to sayin’ hello! HELLO again! Love U! I wish we lived close by sigh 🙁

I hope you’ll have a wonderful time! My teen is on a big road trip with his dad. They hit Indy, Kansas, Colorado, New Mexico, and then they’ll head to Texas for a few days before he heads back home. I’ve not been to some of those places and they are pretty great looking. The canyon dwellings in New Mexico are actually pretty amazing!! Have you seen them? I can’t believe people lived in them!

Death Valley…Wowzers! I would not want to be there right now, but it would be purrfect in January. We did NOT post yesterday. Mom totally forgot it was my birthday. (Jo Jo’s gottcha day is the day before (June 25 and she forgot that too. We had a couple of cooler days this week and because of the heat, she took advantage to do some canning. Thanks for the birthday wishes! I am one happy cat! I love you to bits Sandee and it is great to come and visit! Sending you whisker kisses and head bonks – your @1 Fan Boy, Marvelous Marv

    Dear Sandee <3 <3

Been a while. I’ve been caught up with life. But always lovely to swing by.

I am curious to know why its called death valley? I get a spooky vibe too. Is it?

Sending you so much love and big big kisses. Miss ya.

    • Sandee says:

Death Valley is in the Mohave Desert. In the summer it gets boiling hot and it’s vast. Back in the day of the wagon trains it took a long time to pass through. Many never made it. Love you Natasha. 🙂

  12. Jen says:

That’s a really pretty place in Death Valley! I didn’t even know there was a place like that there. I am glad you will be going. Stay cool! 🙂
