Wordless Wednesday

WW is a simple blog post featuring a photo which conveys a message that speaks for itself without using words.

For all the rule breakers, of which I am one, please feel free to add all the words you want.

Manchester, Vermont

Some of New England’s most spectacular fall foliage can be found in Manchester in the heart of Vermont’s Green Mountains. Drive along Route 7A, part of the Shires of Vermont Byway, where you’ll pass maple and oak trees bursting with autumnal color. Afterward, treat yourself to a traditional pot roast at the cozy Ye Olde Tavern. Where to Stay: Kimpton Taconic Hotel or Wilburton Inn.

Linking up with a bunch of fantastic peeps from the blogosphere who host Wordless Wedne Ssday – Betty, Steve, image-in-ing, Zina, Keith, Cathy, Sara, CatSynth, Diana, and Suzana.

I was in Manchester in August. It’s a beautiful town. I’ve been on Route 7A several times (not in the fall, when it becomes a traffic jam) it’s a beautiful view in August, too, and no billboards! (Vermont state law) Highly recommend the area! Alana ramblinwitham

Ahh…fall, my favorite time of the year. That is simply a stunning image. I fear this autumn will be a bust in Northwest Arkansas. It has been a very hot/dry summer, we have not had much rain in September and the seven day forecast has no rain in sight. I’m afraid the leaves are just going to turn brown and fall of the the trees. Have a blessed week.

I hope you’re wrong about that. Our tree out front just turned brown (Japanese Maple) and they bloom first and drop their leaves first each year. It was a very hot and dry summer here. 🙂

My peep went to school in New England and has not so fond memories of raking leaves. Just as one area gets cleaned, more leaves magically appear.

Just beautiful! I have to say, we are having a glorious Autumn here in Michigan. Went straight from summer to autumn but it has been exquisite! The leaves haven’t changed yet, (that will be the 3rd week of October probably.)
