Margaritaville, Grand Turk
Hubby and I took a Carnival cruise many years ago and this was one of the Ports of Call. We enjoyed a great lunch and the beautiful scenery of the island. I would love to take that cruise again. It was the only cruise I’ve ever enjoyed on the big cruise ships.
Linking up with a bunch of fantastic peeps from the blogosphere who host Wordless Wedne Ssday – Betty, Steve, image-in-ing, Zina, Xmas Dolly, Keith, Cathy, Sara, CatSynth, Diana, and Suzana.
LQQKS nice and fun there too
Have a swimtastic week and WWS 👍
We didn’t get in the pool, but we had a great lunch there. 🙂
Those people don’t look like they are wasting away in Margaritaville 🙂
You make me laugh. We had a nice lunch there. 🙂
That comment cracked me up, too, especially since the punchline took a second to hit me. Blessings, my dear.
It looks like they are having lots of fun times!
There were a few in the pool when we were there, but not this many. Fun island. 🙂
Ooo! Water and fun! Definitely was a super trip!
Thank you Sandee for this new holiday destination!
Happy WW and a fabulous week! I hope you will go again and tell us
the differences!❤️😘
It was a wonderful cruise and we enjoyed each island. 🙂
I bet it feels good to be in the water there! The buildings at the resort look so festive. You don’t see too many fun colors like this on structures in the US. It makes everything look happier.
It was a very colorful island. Everything was so pretty. 🙂
Looks like a spring break party for adults, LOL! Mom has only done cruises in Scandinavia and once for two months to Australia and back, never to the Caribbean or warm places like that.
There were two cruise ships there when we were there. Tons of old people enjoying themselves. 🙂
I’ve ever been on one cruise–with girlfriends–and it was great. Can’t go with hubby cause he’d starve to death, he’s got so many food allergies, and isn’t eating all you want of anything and everything they serve part of the experience?!
You can eat around the clock. There is all kinds of food and lots of very fat people that eat all day long. 🙂
Loved “very fat people”
I’ve only taken one cruise in my life and it was to Alaska in September – too cold to swim! Alana ramblinwitham
Hubby wants to go to Alaska, but we don’t want to cruise anymore. We would rather be on our own boat. 🙂
So fun.

We had a great time there and a very good lunch too. 🙂
Too crowded for me. Thanks for hosting. Have a great day. XO
Me too and we didn’t get in the pool We just had a nice lunch and people watched. 🙂
We agree with Miss Ellen…way too crowded for our Mom.
Very few people were in the pool when we were there. It was a most beautiful place. 🙂
That’s a busy pool.⛱️
It wasn’t on the day we were there. The grounds were most beautiful. 🙂
We have only taken one cruise. May 2005 we flew into Fairbanks,Alaska took a 4 day ground trip ending in Whitter where we boarded the Dawn Princess to cruise 7 days down the inside passage. Hands down the best vacation ever. It was #2 on my bucket list, # 1 was seeing Elvis in person which we did in 1976
Hugs Cecilia
My mom would have loved to see Elvis. She loved him so. Happy week, my friend. Big hug. 🙂
Interesting! I hope you get to go on that cruise again. Enjoy your day, Sandee.🤗
No more cruises for us. Just on our boat. We would never cruise on the west coast. They treat you horribly. The east coast does it right. 🙂
Cruises can be fun, however, a lot depends on the quality of the amenities and service. My favorite cruise was our Alaskan Cruise. Happy Wednesday!
We were on Carnival and it’s okay. We did have a suite with a balcony, but the food was just so-so. 🙂
I’ve been on several cruises and the Alaskan cruise was the nicest and most elegant. The food was better than most, especially the chocolate night. Problem being we were in some rough seas during the chocolate night and many became ill, but not me! If the ship rocks and rolls, I just rock with it rather than fight it and I’ve never been seasick.
That is one crowded pool. we’ve never been to Grand Turk, but we have been to Margaritaville. 🙂
There’s a lot of them around. This was a great place and the grounds were most beautiful. 🙂
Looks like they are all having a wonderful time.
Happy Wednesday and thanks for hosting, Sandee.
It’s a very small island, but lots of fun. 🙂
what ever floats your boat and I know you love to float in a boat, so nothing better than a cruise.
We’d rather be on our boat. We won’t go on a cruise ship again. 🙂
Our peeps miss those cruise vacations too.
When we cruised from San Diego to Hawaii I got sick. I was sick for a couple of months. That was our last cruise on a big ship. 🙂
Looks like party central! Cheers. 🧉
It was a fun island with beautiful grounds and lots of great music. 🙂
The P.A. has always wanted to go on a cruise!
You should at least try it once. I get food fatigue so the food turns me off pretty quickly. 🙂
Have a wonderful Wednesday, Sandee!
You do the same, Bette. 🙂
That pool is so popular, it must be filled with margaritas.
It just might be, Kismet. I love you. 🙂
Oh my goodness- too many folks for me! Glad you enjoyed your cruise! xoxoxo
I agree with you. When we were there there weren’t very many in the pool. 🙂
Thank you so much for coming to see Katie Isabella! We are pleased to meetcha, me and mommy.
Katie Isabella at Blogspot. XX
It was nice to meet you too. Happy rest of the week. 🙂
I’d like to experience taking a cruise with my family. I hope the kids would have lots of things to do onboard.
Have a great weekend ahead!
Then Disney is the cruise ship you need to be on. It’s all about the kids. You have a great rest of the week. 🙂
Looks like a commercial but fun. Very nice. Thanks for hosting and I hope that you have a wonderful week.
It’s a popular port of call for cruise ships. It’s a very small island. You have a wonderful rest of the week. 🙂
We did one cruise together, it was marvelous. Now it’s my dream to go on a cruise to see the Northern lights in Finland.
Find a great friend that you can room with and go. You’d have a great time, Gattina. 🙂
The place may be nice, but I wouldn’t want to be in the pool.
We didn’t get in the pool and with this many people in the pool I would never get in. 🙂
Looks like everyone is having fun!
They were having fun when we were there. A fun place and worth the visit. 🙂
Love all the bright Caribbean sun!
It was a most fun island. Beautiful place too. It rained to beat the band for about 10-15 minutes and we were the only ones with an umbrella. Then the sun came out and the clouds went away. 🙂
We went there on one of our first cruises and had a fun time. We didn’t swim, I don’t like crowds and prefer the sea when we are in the Caribbean.
The sea is most blue there. It was a great cruise and I would avoid this pool. Way to many folks. 🙂
That looks lovely! We’ve only ever been on one cruise and that was for our honeymoon; we had a fabulous time but for some reason we’ve never thought of booking another one.
You might want to go on an anniversary. Just a thought. 🙂
Looks like fun!
It was a fun port of call. 🙂
My two grown boys have been on cruises. I have not been! I’m 50/50 on whether I’d want to go or not. When my students go, they come back with great stories. They all seem to love it. 🙂 Wishing you a wonderful day.
I got so sick the last cruise we were on and I was done. They treated us badly too. We bought VIP and didn’t get VIP. 🙂
A cruise would be nice but you have to pick your itinerary and ship with care. Some of them are just too big and overwhelming for me.
Hope you and Mr. Zane get to cruise again soon!
We won’t go on the big ships anymore. We like our little boat far better. 🙂
I am pining to go on another cruise. I absolutely LOVE ships! Margaritaville is quite fun.We ate lunch there when we visited Grand Cayman and Jamaica. Hope you have had a great day!
It was a great place for lunch and we enjoyed it very much. Happy rest of the week, Jen. 🙂
Looks fun. I have been on a short cruise only once and I enjoyed it very much. I was a nice experience.
If you’re on the right cruise line then you’re good. Happy rest of the week, Nancy. 🙂
Lovely photo of pool but too many people for me ~ Xo
Lots of hugs and love to you ~ Xos
Wishing you good health, laughter and love in your days,

I agree and there were only a few in the pool when we were there. We stayed in the restaurant. Love and healing hugs. 🙂
