WW is a simple blog post featuring a photo which conveys a message that speaks for itself without using words.
For all the rule breakers, of which I am one, please feel free to add all the words you want.
Make sure you leave a link to your post and I’ll visit your Wordless Wednesday post.
Snake River
The Snake River travels through Yellowstone and Grand Teton national parks. The name Snake River comes from the Snake, or Shoshone, Native American tribe. The river drops from an elevation of 9,800 feet in northwestern Wyoming to 340 feet above sea level in Washington, making it useful for powering hydropower dams.

It’s most beautiful indeed, Jackie. 🙂
I agree what a beautiful photo I like the reflection effect too
Have a reflectivetastic week and WWS 👍
There are some really great photographers out there. Happy rest of the week, Steve. 🙂
Beautiful!
It’s picture perfect. 🙂
Such a beautiful and peaceful scene!
Yes indeed. Scritches all around and my best to your mom. ♥
It certainly is a stunning view! I can’t imagine putting the camera away if that is in front of you. Have a wonderful day!

How wonderful to enjoy this beautiful scenery before you. So serene.
So much beauty around the world. Happy Wednesday, Nancy. 🙂
Magnificent scenery. Imagining having that view in my backyard. Alana ramblinwitham
I would love to have that view. 🙂
That’s a great picture, Sandee, I hope there ain’t any snakes in that snakey river, it would be a sneaky river then, right😺Pawkisses for a Peaceful Wednesday🐾😽💞
No snakes, Little Binky. I promise. Pawkisses for a peaceful Wednesday to you and Granny. 🙂
That’s some drop in elevation.
It is indeed, Binky. 🙂
That sure is pretty!
It sure is, Brian. Happy Wordless Wednesday. 🙂

Gorgeous!!!
Yes indeed. Happy Wordless Wednesday. 🙂
Beautifully…I could look at that all day
Hugs Cecilia
We could take a long walk together. 🙂
That’s a really pretty photo. I always find it amazing that rivers can be so calm in some places, and have raging rapids somewhere else (as is certainly the case with the Snake River). Thank you for sharing, and for hosting, Sandee. Have a wonderful Wednesday! 🙂
That’s so true. It’s a beautiful river. You have a wonderful Wednesday too. 🙂
That’s very beautiful Sandee! Have a lovely Wednesday and week! Hugs! 🙂 <3
We both found beautiful places today. 🙂
This scene makes me think majestic. Have a blessed day, Sandee.🤗
It’s a beautiful place. You have a blessed day too, Michelle. 🙂
I have read maybe 1000 westerns in my lifetime or more and the Snake River was a huge part of most of them. Its funny how my mind has retained things like this and not the daily things I need to know..
I hadn’t thought about the westerns. You’re right about that. 🙂
When I’m out at the park, I see lots of folks in camoflauge, with little cameras and huge lenses.
They are hunting birds to photograph, but I can imagine how hard photographers work to capture an image like the one you’ve featured today.
I hear you. Everything has to be perfect. 🙂
Absolutely breathtaking! Gorgeous!
A slice of heaven indeed, Yvonne. 🙂
Makes me want to go on a hike today! Happy Hump Day.
I’ll come with you. Make sure the pups are going too. 🙂
How peaceful, not a ripple. Another ovely picture, Sandee.
The world is full of so many beautiful places. 🙂
I haven’t yet made it western Washington, so I haven’t seen the Snake River in person. I like how its a flat meandering stream contrasting with the mountains in this photo.
Pretty area to explore. It’s been a long time since I’ve been there. 🙂
It doesn’t look capable of producing a lot of electricity.
Not much at all, Kismet. I love you. 🙂
So beautiful!!!
Yes indeed. Happy Wednesday. 🙂
Beautiful. I rode this on my motorcycle as a route and I am so glad I did. It was stunning!
I’ve been here, but not on a motorcycle. 🙂
Snow capped mountains and the reflection in the water is so pretty!
Hope you’re having a great Wednesday! <3
A beautiful place to enjoy. I’m having a great Wednesday. I hope you are too. 🙂

Happy Day to you and yours! xoxoox
As wonderful as what man can create, it will never be as spectacular as what is found in nature.
So very true, Patricia. 🙂
