WW is a simple blog post featuring a photo which conveys a message that speaks for itself without using words.
For all the rule breakers, of which I am one, please feel free to add all the words you want.
Make sure you leave a link to your post and I’ll visit your Wordless Wednesday post.
San Francisco Golden Gate Bridge
I’m happy to say that hubby and I have walked across this bridge. The views are spectacular.

Great shot would love to walk across that bridge and see the views
Have a scenictastic week and WWS 👍
The views are fabulous and if you come here I’ll walk with you. 🙂
It’s an amazing capture! It makes me think of the San Francisco I knew from the 90s, I’m missing those days.. hoping that one day I get to take a photo again with the San Francisco Bridge as background.
Have a lovely week! Happy WW!
We have enjoyed this bridge for many years. Happy Wordless Wednesday. 🙂
I love long suspension bidges and this is a beauty!
It’s a beauty indeed, Keith. Happy Wordless Wednesday. 🙂
That would be rather fun to walk across that bridge. I imagine the views are pretty spectacular.
It was a fabulous walk for the both of us. 🙂
Amazing!
It is indeed. A beautiful bridge. 🙂
It’s a beautiful bridge and very recognizable.
It is indeed, Miss Molly. 🙂
I would love to go there and take pictures. I’d also love to walk across the Brooklyn Bridge in NYC!
You would love it and if you were here, I’d walk with you. 🙂
Lovely photo of the bridge. The Lisbon, April 25th bridge is a copy and I believe was designed by the same person. I posted sunset photos of it back in January, https://allatseawithme.blogspot.com/2022/01/wordless-wednesday-sunset.html
I would love to see the Golden Gate Bridge but will have to make do with Europe!
I remember that bridge post of yours. It does look similar. We know a guy that painted that bridge for years. He’s retired now, but we found it fascinating. 🙂
We would love to walk across that bridge. Mom used to be in San Fran on layovers years ago, but she never walked on the bridge.
It’s worth the effort. The views are fabulous. 🙂
One day I will visit America and walk across that bridge as well!
Have a wonderful Wednesday!

You’ll enjoy it. Have a great day. 🙂
When we took a family vacation to San Francisco (i was early teens then), we drove across but didn’t walk across. The view is spectacular, i agree. Have a blessed Wednesday!
Yes it is and even more so when you walk it. Hugs. 🙂
I love walking over bridges. I’ve walked the Brooklyn Bridge and a number of others. This is on my bucket list! Alana ramblinwitham
Lots of folks walk the Golden Gate. It’s a wonderful thing to do. 🙂
I love the Golden Gate Bridge! It’s been many years since I walked it, but you are so, so right, Sandee … the views are spectacular. 🙂
Have a wonderful Wednesday!
Yes indeed. I’d walk it again. Beautiful views. 🙂
Beautiful.😃
Indeed, Michelle. 🙂
That must have been quite the walk. Our Mom is afraid of bridges but she drove across that one five times in one week.
It was a wonderful walk and we were so much younger then. Happy Wednesday. 🙂
That must have been quite the walk. Our Mom is afraid of bridges but she drove across that one five times in one week.
Hubby is afraid of heights and he wouldn’t look over the edge. I did though. 🙂
I have never seen it but do recognize the best know bridge in USA… looks like a long walk
It’s a long walk but so worth the effort. 🙂
A beautiful shot of the bridge! I’ve never walked it but driven across it a few times. Spectacular views. Happy Wednesday. 😊
Yes indeed. The city is a beautiful place out on the water and on the bridge. 🙂
Our Mom and Dad have been there too.
It’s a wonderful place. 🙂
That must have been a good walk with excellent views.
It was indeed. We enjoyed it very much. We’ve also been under the bridge in our boat numerous times. 🙂
OMCs that must have been a magical and fun adventure. We saw years ago but I never thought about walking across it…wish I had!
Hugs Cecilia
It was and I always wanted to walk the bridge. It was wonderful. Hugs. 🙂
Beautiful. Thank you for hosting. Have a great day. XO
It is indeed. You have a great day too, Ellen. 🙂
Sandee that is a heart worming photo! I was born and raised in San Francisco! Have a lovely Wednesday and week! Big hugs! 🙂 <3
I used to go to the city often. It was so fun for me. Big hugs. 🙂
I’m pretty sure I have stood on the spot where this image was captured. I have also visited the John Muir Redwood forest. Beautiful places both.
I have too, my friend. We don’t go there anymore. The city is such a nasty place anymore. So sad. 🙂
What spectacular views as you walked across the bridge!
Did you walk back again?
Yes indeed. We left the car on the north side and walked to the south side and then walked back to the north side. 🙂
Awesome photo of a special bridge ~
Lots of love and hugs to you from Angel and me Xos
Wishing you love and laughter in your day,

It’s a beautiful bridge. Love and hugs. 🙂
I actually got here early enough to add our link myself. When I was a kid, it always frightened me when we drove across the Golden Gate Bridge, and a friend’s son committed suicide by jumping off of it, so I prefer looking at it from afar. Good photo though. Hugs, Janet
Oh no. I’m so sorry the bridge has bad memories for you. Hugs. 🙂
I wished, I could be there… thank you for sharing on My Corner of the World!
Me too. It’s a beautiful place to be. 🙂
We have also walked across this bridge- such a wonderful walk we had! Took the Sausalito ferry to San Francisco- walked to Little Italy and had a great lunch at Pinocchio’s restaurant ( which is now permanently closed) Then we walked from there to the Golden Gate and back down to Sausalito! About 11 miles- I think that was in 2010. Have a lovely day today! hugs to you and Zane! xoxoxo
It’s a fun thing to do. There’s a parking lot on the north side of the bridge and that’s where we parked. Fun place. I love Sausalito too. 🙂
The Golden Gate bridge never disappoints.
I agree with you. Seeing it from the water is even better than by car. 🙂
Sandee, that is one thing I wish I had done when I was out there and younger.
I hear you, Mike. We were in our 50s when we walked it. It was wonderful. 🙂
Such a beautiful bridge! I do miss seeing it…but made sure I took tons of pictures before leaving California!
It’s a beautiful bridge with lots of history. 🙂
I’ve always like the bridges. Even when I see these kind of images, they look a little bit fragile!
Thank you, Sandee! I suppose was quite spectacular to be there, on that bridge!
Happy WW and a fine week ahead!
It was breathtakingly beautiful. Happy WW, Suzana. 🙂
How long is that bridge? It would terrify me just to cross it in a car. I remember when we went to Florida there were a few long bridges that we traveled over and it was all I could do to keep my eyes open. All I can say is I’m glad I wasn’t behind the wheel. 🙂
It’s 1.7 miles long, so it’s pretty big. Hubby hate driving over bridges. 🙂
I crossed that bridge in a coach in 1990! The feeling was surreal!
Happy Weds, Sandee!
Indeed. It’s a wonderful view all the way around. 🙂
A beautiful iconic place in a beautiful state. Happy Hump Day 🐪
It’s a beautiful bridge. Happy Hump Day. 🙂
It was a TV series, Charmed, in which this bridge played an important role. It happened 20 years ago and I still fondly remember about The Charm Ones …
Thank you, Sandee! ❤
How wonderful. Have a great day, my friend. 🙂
That is such a beautiful view!
Even better on the bridge. 🙂
It’s a good thing you didn’t do what a lot of others have done-take one last dive off of the bridge.
I don’t want to do that, Kismet. I love you. 🙂
I cycled across that bridge ten years ago. lovely memories.
Yes indeed, Klara. 🙂
Love San Francisco and The Golden Gate Bridge… We’ve only crossed the bridge by car. How lovely that you and hubby got to walk across this iconic structure. Thanks for sharing! 😍 xo
It was worth every step, Bette. A wonderful view. 🙂
I drove across that bridge once a zillion years ago! It scared me to death and I never noticed the view! I would LOVE to go back.
The views are spectacular. Love and hugs all around. 🙂
I have been fortunate to see it in person.
It’s a very impressive bridge. 🙂
One post posted the other did not! Such is my life with linky and company. But I think I missed a blogger step with my one blog so that could be the source of my issue. Your share is beautiful. How blessed you have walked on it. I always wanted to . I did take the Coast Highway drive though and went to Catalina. Sigh…such pretty places where you live. Thank you for sharing.
Some of them aren’t so pretty anymore. We’re a welfare state with tons of homeless. So sad. 🙂
Pretty spectacular view. Perhaps one day I willbe there too. Thanks Sandee for all you do. HUGS to you today and always
Always good to see you, Anne. Have a great rest of the week. 🙂
One of my favorite places. Love it. I have actually been to the top on a Tower Tour.
Oh how fun. I would have enjoyed that too. 🙂
