WW is a simple blog post featuring a photo which conveys a message that speaks for itself without using words.
For all the rule breakers, of which I am one, please feel free to add all the words you want.
Make sure you leave a link to your post and I’ll visit your Wordless Wednesday post.
Amalfi Coast, Italy
The Amalfi Coast is postcard-pretty Italy, rimmed by the “road of 1,000 bends” that connects small villages via a landscape of olive groves and lemon trees. But seeing as crowds can clog that tiny two-lane road come summertime, spring is a much smarter option. Even better, it’s also when the flowers, whose heady scent is so synonymous with this Italian hideaway, burst into bloom: Jasmine and orange decorate the balconies and the trellises bolted to the cliffs. As a base for exploring, substitute quieter, less glitzy Praiano for the better known Positano.
Linking up with a bunch of fantastic peeps from the blogosphere who host Wordless Wednesday – Betty, Steve, image-in-ing, Zina, Keith, Cathy, Sara, CatSynth, Diana, and Suzana.

Have an italiantastic week and WWS 👍
We’ll meet you there, Steve. We’d have fun. 🙂
I’ve heard good things about the Amalfi coast. It looks veeeeery tempting right about now!
Happy Wednesday, Sandee 🌻 xxxxx
It would be a fun place to vacation for a bit. Happy Wednesday, Caz. 🙂
It looks beautiful. I get the feeling this is a big vacation spot and not the place to go if you want to get away from crowds.
It is a huge vacation spot. I’ll stay at the hotel and enjoy the view. 🙂
My word, how gorgeous!
Yes indeed. I need a boat to sail around out there. 🙂
Oh my goodness, I could do that!
Me too, Miss Molly. 🙂
Looks so inviting, and there’s no snow (unlike where I live, where we had a record breaking snowstorm yesterday). Alana ramblinwitham
We’ve had lots of cold weather here. Winter doesn’t want to go away. 🙂
That looks very warm and inviting! It’s still cold here, but hoping it will finally be spring by the weekend.
It’s cold here too. I’m ready for some warm. 🙂
That is so pretty!
I’ve always wanted to explore Italy. 🙂
Beautiful place! I wonder if they accept cat guests…
Thank you for hosting this blog hop.
erlin
That would be good if they did. Cats rock. Thanks for linking up. 🙂
I would love to take a dip in that beautiful, warm water and have the sand between my toes
Hugs Cecilia
That makes two of us, Cecilia. Hugs. 🙂
Bucket-list item!!
My list gets longer and longer each time I visit your blog!
Happy Weds, Sandee!
I hear you. I’m happy your list gets longer and longer. Happy Wednesday, Veronica. 🙂

That is so lovely Sandee! Have a marvelous Wednesday and week! Hugs! 🙂 <3
We both did Italy today. Great minds once again. Hugs. 🙂
That whole coast area is beautiful.
It sure is, Binky,. 🙂
I love that blue-turquoise hue of the water! Looks so tempting to dive in and just chill!
Thanks for hosting, Sandee ..Happy WW!
Yes indeed. Happy Wordless Wednesday. 🙂
beautiful bay.
I would love to visit there and have a room that would have that view. 🙂
{Swoon!!!}
Yes indeed. 🙂
That looks amazing! I liked what the description said about going in the spring to avoid crowds and being able to see the pretty plantings. Thank you for hosting, Sandee. Happy Wednesday! 🙂
I’m not into crowds, but off season this would be a great place to explore. 🙂
We’re the same way about crowds! We can meet up there in the off season. 🙂
It looks good, but I don’t know how, I wouldn’t like to be there … It looks cramped, like a mouse race.
Have a Happy Wordless Wednesday!
Beaches in good weather are usually full. I’m not a crowd person either, Zina. Happy rest of the week. 🙂
Gorgeous and so inviting ~ Xo
Lots of hugs and love from me and Angel ~ Xos
Wishing you laughter and love in your days,
A ShutterBug Explores,
aka (A Creative Harbor)
Yes on both counts. Love and hugs to you and Angel. 🙂
A beautiful place to enjoy a weekend.
Or a week, Nancy. I’d love to visit and explore this beauty. 🙂
The cliffs around the beach make it quite interesting, even other-worldly.
I agree. It’s a beautiful place. 🙂
Beautiful! Italy is on my wishlist of vacation spots…someday 🙂
It’s been on my list for a very long time. 🙂
What a beautiful place. That entrance to the beach is spectacular. Like in a postcard it seems a little bit unnatural. Everything is very organized, too organized…😊
I want to be one day on a boat there. It will be enough!
Thank you, Sandee for a new pleasant experience!
Happy WW and a fabulous week!❤️
I’d love to be in a boat out there too. Love boats. You have a fabulous rest of the week. 🙂
a breath taking view
Yes indeed, Carol. Thanks for linking up. 🙂
Nice scene but too peoply for us 😻
I don’t care for that crowd either, but it’s a beautiful place. 🙂
How beautiful! Italy is on our bucket list!
Mine too. It’s a beautiful country. 🙂
all those small Mediteranean towns are much better to visit out of season. this would be lovely to see.
I’m with you on that, Klara. Off season would work for me. 🙂
Oh to be in Italy! Can you imagine cruising in your boat here? Hugs to You and Zane! xoxo
Yes I can imagine that, Kathe. I would love it. Zane would love it. Want to come along? Bring Miss Lucy. 🙂
oh hahah she does not know how to swim! It sure would be fun! xoxoxo
What a beautiful place. Thanks for hosting and have a wonderful week.
It is indeed. We both went for the ocean today. You have a wonderful rest of the week too, Patrick. 🙂
Another beautiful place in the world.
Happy Wednesday! <3
Yes indeed, Barbara. Happy Wednesday. 🙂
Hey, Sandee!! You should be proud of me! I actually posted a WORDLESS Wednesday! Whodathunk I could manage THAT? You can send the reward money to my account. 😂
Bwahahahahaha. I break the rules each week. The check in is the mail, my friend. 🙂
Glorious… I’ll be there in my dreams! 💞
That’s about the only way I’m going to enjoy this too. In my dreams. 🙂
Italy in spring, i can only imagine. Hugs!
That makes two of us, my friend. 🙂
This is one place that is on my bucket list. I’m a little scared of those kind of roads, but I’d brave it in an instant to go here!
Me too, my friend. Have a great day. 🙂
A beautiful spot
It is indeed. 🙂
