Wordless Wednesday

WW is a simple blog post featuring a photo which conveys a message that speaks for itself without using words.

For all the rule breakers, of which I am one, please feel free to add all the words you want.

Make sure you leave a link to your post and I’ll visit your Wordless Wednesday post.

Amalfi Coast, Italy

The Amalfi Coast (Italian: Costiera amalfitana) is a stretch of coastline in southern Italy overlooking the Tyrrhenian Sea and the Gulf of Salerno. It is located south of the Sorrentine Peninsula and north of the Cilentan Coast.

Celebrated worldwide for its Mediterranean landscape and natural diversity, the Coast is named after the town of Amalfi, which makes up its main historical and political centre. It is a very popular jet set destination, and has been an attraction to upper-class Europeans since the 18th century, when it was a frequent stopover on their Grand Tours. An attraction to thousands of international tourists of all classes annually, the Amalfi Coast was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1997. Source: Wikipedia

I love the Amalfi coast. There is a wonderful beach restaurant at the bottom of a steep hill in Sorrento. It is quite a walk back up after you have eaten, but they serve the best swordfish I have ever tasted.

That is beautiful! I don’t think I would travel out of the USA though. Too much coming head on and don[t want to be caught in it! I pray for our world. Lots happening. But taking a moment to enjoy a beautiful scene like this makes me happy.

So pretty. The water looks so delightful. I have been praying for our world. So many things going on. I am grateful to be be safely put at home. Even though it is 9 outside and snowing ice is falling. Weird winter weather. I need a sunny beach. 🙂

I am set for tomorrow today! Ha Ha Ha – this icy snow and single digit and below minus temps are making my brain cold! Today my girl Lulu turns 4 and my sis Pat left this earth 21 years ago today. My poor cold brain is trying to thaw out. please forgive me. I appreciate all you do.

One of the world’s most beautiful places! 💖 I have a friend who lives there and In 2018, she gave us a personal tour. It was amazing! Thanks for that wonderful view on dreary winter’s day, Sandee.

Such a beautiful place. I love Italy, but I suspect I will not have the opportunity to go again. Thanks for always linking us up. Kitty kisses from Cooper Murphy and Sawyer. Love and hugs, Janet

I have only been to Rome but Italy has the most places I still want to see… the Amalfi Coast, Venice, Florence, Naples… I could go on. 😉 Your picture makes me happy. Have a wonderful Wednesday.
