Beautiful. It reminds me of long ago and a school trip to Switzerland the year I finished my studies. It was a hot mid August day and a group of us decided to have a swim in a lovely mountain lake. I will never forget the shock of just how numbingly cold it was!

as i sat here staring at the view with the dog in the forefront, i thought I would love a photo of anything including a brick wall if there was a dog in the forefront..

What a beautiful shade of blue in the water – I actually was thinking of lakes when I woke up. Great minds! P.S. I accidentally linked back to your blog with your link the first time I used the linky – so I lined again, this time with my post’s URL. Sorry about that!

What a beautiful location. Also a cute dog. I hope you that you follow the rules regarding putting a mask on when you’re out in people, six feet apart, and so on. I want you to take care of yourself and your hubby. I try not to read or listen to the news but ……. Ciao my friend.

That’s such a wonderful and evocative photo. I can imagine that dog barking, and hearing the echoes. 🙂

Hope you’re doing well, Sandee. Thank you for hosting!

The Hubby doesn’t like to travel, which is fine bc that makes him a built-in catsitter.
However, during the pandemic, he’s been watching travel shows on TV, and now says he really doesn’t have to travel ’cause he’s seen everything already! OH!

That is a beautiful place. I always click on the pic to get the info and according to Trip Advisor it’s a cool place to visit too. It looks very remote but apparently it’s not really. There are things to do around the area before you walk down to the lake. Anyway. It’s cool. Thanks for sharing and thanks for expanding my mind beyond all things politics and covid. – Love you!

  9. The K Clowder says:

Magnificent! When I first saw it, I thought it was one of the lakes in my old stomping grounds in Banff Park. It looks so much like Peyto Lake! No wonder so many Swiss immigrated to Banff! It brought back some lovely emories and a desire to go to Switzerland 🇨🇭. Thank You!
