This was how thick the tule fog was at our marina last Saturday morning. We had a lunch date with friends in Isleton and it was still foggy when we left at 12:30 pm. The sun was shining Sunday morning. What a difference a day makes.
Looks lovely!
It was indeed. 🙂
Looks a little spooky to me! hahaha Well, it’s official I’ve got strep-throat. BUMMER! I hate being sick. Hope you’re doing okay out there. Now you take your vitamins and stay healthy please… hubby too!!! Have a great day my friend. Sending BIG HUGS!!! 🙂
It’s only spooky if you’re driving in the fog. The rest of the times it’s peaceful.
Sorry you’re sick. Get well soon, honey. Big healing hugs. 🙂
Wow, that is a thick fog. It looks kind of mystical though.
It is magical unless you’re driving. 🙂
Looks like we had the same weather, Sandee. We couldn’t see from one house to another last week, very mysterious😸Pawkisses for a Happy Wednesday🐾😽💞
We had visibility issues for hours too. That’s why it’s called tule fog. Pawkisses back, Little Binky. 🙂
What a beautiful shot!
It was even more fun being in. We loved it. 🙂
Great shot that is quite thick we haven’t had much fog this year in London for a change heheh!
Have a mistytastic WWS 🙂
I added you “wink”
We’ve not had really bad fog for years. I’m happy about that. Thanks for linking me up on your blog, Steve. 🙂
Great picture Sandee. Thought about you all night and so wish I lived closer so I could help you. Try to have a good day.
I wish we were across the street from each other and I’d help you. Have a fabulous day, Marg. 🙂
That is kind of creepy fog. Glad it cleared up the next day.
It is most quiet and peaceful to be in, but not if you’re driving. 🙂
“What a difference a day makes…” Isn’t that a song? The only thing we hate about the fog are the car crashes it causes, especially on the Interstates.
Yes it is and it’s hubbies favorite saying when the weather is so opposite in a short period of time. 🙂
Sandee,
Fog is mysteriously beautiful and hauntingly romantic! Great photo share. Thanks for sharing and for hosting the mid-week fun, my dear. Have a fototastic day! 😉
Yes and yes. We enjoyed our morning on our boat in the fog. 🙂
I don’t know why but I love fog and the quiet stillness that comes with it
Hugs Cecilia
We do too as long as we don’t have to drive. 🙂
A beautiful shot of the thick fog. Can hardly beyond the trees.
We couldn’t see across the berm for hours and hours. It was thick. 🙂
That is a beautiful photo, Sandee. That thick fog is spooky though.
Happy Weds!
It can be very spooky if you’re driving. Happy Wednesday. 🙂
What an interesting photo. It took me a minute to see the boat and the fog..lol. At first I thought it was refections of trees in the water. Great pic, my friend! 🌻🤗 ((Hugs))
Yes and hubby wasn’t very far away from that boat either. Hugs. 🙂
Meowser Ms. Sandee that is an amazing photo…. do those trees look strange because of the fog or is that how they normally look?
Thank you for hosting this blog hop.
Purrseidon
That’s how they look in the winter. They are cut back each year and allowed to fill out in the fair weather months. 🙂
What a beautiful photo! I love the fog (as long as I’m not driving – HA!).
Amen to the not having to drive in this stuff. Very difficult when it’s thick. 🙂
Thick as pea soup. Thanks for hosting. Have a great day! XO
Yes I call it soup. You’re most welcome for the hosting. I’ll be over tomorrow to do the fill-ins. You have a great day too. 🙂
That is so beautiful, fog can make everything look magical.
It sure is. Magical is a good word descriptor. 🙂
My last comment didn’t show up so I will try again. That fog is as thick as pea soup. Thanks for hosting. Have a great day! XO
They show up when they feel like it, Ellen. It’s there. 🙂
That’s beautiful, Sandee. I kind of like fog, unless I have to get somewhere. 🙂
Happy Wordless Wednesday, my friend!
Same here, my friend. Happy Wordless Wednesday to you too. 🙂
You can say that you visited London-without the expense.
Yes indeed. What a great way to think about this. 🙂
The trees are amazing! Thanks for sharing!

It was a most peaceful morning. We love the fog when we don’t have to drive anywhere. 🙂
Fog is especially fun at the waterfront; the atmospheric depth it creates. I love fog.
Yes it is. It’s extra wonderful on the water. 🙂
Years ago, when I was visiting Carmel, CA, I experienced the tule fog. It’s very dense and spooky. Happy Wednesday.
It is indeed very dense. I’ve been in it for years and it’s no longer spooky. Happy day, my friend. 🙂
Fog that late in the afternoon? Amazing Sandee. See ya for now.
Cruisin Paul
No it’s the morning. It cleared up in the afternoon. Fog is amazing indeed and tule fog is even more amazing. 🙂
That does look pretty and wow, how thick that fog is fur sure!
It is most peaceful to be in. Quiet and serene. 🙂
Cool photo! I’m glad you navigated safely. ~hugs~ Be well, my dear.
It was half way decent by 12:30. We were happy about that. 🙂
Awesome! 🙂
Sandee the day I took the photo of the pond….the Koi were being Coy. Too good a pun had to use it
There is one on the right side about midway against the wall 1/2 way under a lily pad
Hugs Cecilia
Sorry about the spelling. I really do know how to spell Koi. I was just being coy. 🙂
What a beautiful fog picture.
Hubby and I thought so too. 🙂
I remember that fog in California, but more the fog from the ocean when I lived in Santa Barbara. It was pretty much daily until around noon time. Thanks for hosting WW. Love and hugs, Janet
Santa Barbara is a beautiful place. Expensive though. Love and hugs back. 🙂
You didn’t see Chief Inspector Clouseau go stumping by you in a salty old seadawg disguise with an inflated parrot on his shoulder, did you?
No we sure didn’t. That would have been fun though. 🙂
That’s a good, heavy fog, we get that at times. Hope you and Mr. Zane have a fabulous Wednesday!
I’m okay with it if I don’t have to drive somewhere. You and Mr. Sweetie have a fabulous Wednesday too. 🙂
I remember fog like that when I lived in Oakland. It makes everything suddenly feel mysterious.
I live in the central valley and we get the fog here. There have been years that we’ve had fog January through February with it never lifting. 🙂
Wow! that’s a long time for a foggy day to last. I don’t think I’d like a month long fog. One day of mystery is good. A month and I bet that mysterious feeling fades. Kinda like snowfall. Love the first day. After that, it’s just cold.
Those trees are beautiful – what kind are they?
Eucalyptus trees. They cut them back in the winter and they are beautiful in the summer. 🙂
Fog can really change how a place feels.
Yes it can and it can disorient you too. 🙂
I love fog. That’s a gorgeous photo 🙂 Happy Wednesday!
I love it too if I don’t have to drive anywhere. 🙂
wow great foggy day photo! hugs!
It was so foggy we couldn’t see across the berm. 🙂
I love this photo, Sandee. Isn’t fog impressive? Here on the East Coast, we get fog on a fairly regular basis that swallows you whole when you stand outside. It’s an interesting feeling really – knowing that someone is standing right there but you can’t see them!
Did you feel there was an eery, yet comforting, stillness? That’s how I often feel when fog is this thick.
Have a beautiful day, Sandee. Always a pleasure coming here! ♥
Hubby loves to walk in the fog. He took this shot on his walk that morning. I feel the same way in the fog, but not while I’m driving. 🙂
One of my favorite things…a bass boat on a foggy morning. Chances are the fish are biting. Count me in. Have a blessed day.
I thought the boat was a huge extra. 🙂
Wow that is some crazy fog! If we get fog in Southern Az, then you know it’s end of days 🙂
I know that to be true. It’s very dicey driving in this soup. 🙂
You captured the fog perfectly, we are frequently foggy here in the summer, but it’s mostly clouds and rain in the winter. Ironically we were in San Jose and Carmel on Saturday where the weather was sunny and unseasonably warm. It’s amazing what a hundred miles or so can make!
Hubby took this picture on his walk. I cropped it a bit to enable everyone to see the boat. 🙂
A boat in the fog is the beginning of a scary film!
It very well could be, but it wasn’t this particular morning. It was most delightful. 🙂
Well, you know what they say your temp always goes up at night, but this morning I feel better. Woo Hoo! Well we had a couple of nice days. Temp went up to 51 the weatherman said, but it’s back to 30’s in the day & 20’s in the night. I guess not to bad for winter. Well, you have a great day baby girl. Guess I better go hoppin’ here plus I have 3 reviews to do for a few products I promised. So I’M OFF! BIG OL’ HUGS to you & remember WHO LUVS YA BABY!!!! MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE Take care. 🙂
I’m glad you’re feeling better. That’s a good thing. Big hugs. 🙂
Very well captured, a touch of mystery. Thanks for hosting Sandee.
You are most welcome. Hubby takes some great pictures. 🙂
We have had some foggy single digit temps lately. Oh how that fog rises. I am glad I am indoors. Your photo is quite lovely. Happy Hump Day to all! HUGS
The fog is awesome when you don’t have to go anywhere. Not so much when you have to drive someplace. 🙂
Fog speaks well ~ great photo ^_^
Xox and love to you from Zoe and me ^_^
Happy Moments to You,
A ShutterBug Explores,
aka (A Creative Harbor)
It does indeed. So quiet and peaceful in the fog. Happy day to you and Ms. Zoe. 🙂
One thing is sure with the weather….you just don’t know one day to the next! Fog on the water is so pretty.
It’s most pretty on the water. As you can see it didn’t stop the fishermen one bit. 🙂
Magical…
Yes magical. Peaceful and quiet too. 🙂
FOGGY….we have had a few mornings like that. Cool pic.
We have lots of them and especially after it rains. Pretty soon the fog will be gone. 🙂
The story of my life. Foggy, blurry, confusedey! You come UP with the coolest!
Sometimes it’s the story of my life too. Thanks for stopping by. 🙂
So very beautiful. Thanks for hosting and I hope that you have a wonderful week.
Thank you, Patrick. Thanks for playing along. 🙂
