So beautiful.
I thought so too. 🙂
So graceful and elegant.
I love to watch the birds. We feed them here. 🙂
Is that one of those HISSING big white duck thingys??? Don’t be fooled, it may be wordless but it can really HISS!!!
Quite rude what they said to me the other day
Loves and licky kisses
Princess Leah xxx
Yes they can if you get in their space. We don’t do that. Loves and licky kisses back, Princess Leah. 🙂
WOW, that is a beautiful picture
It jumped right off the page at me. 🙂
Very regal looking I bet has quite a temper too heheh!
Have a longnecktastic WWS ➡
Birds can be very mean and aggressive. I try to stay out of their way. 🙂
Magnificent – and so serene.
Yes on both counts, Molly. 🙂
Great reflection capture!
Yes indeed. Someone knew what they were doing. 🙂
That is a gorgeous picture. Such a pretty swan. Sandee, you and Zane have one heck of a good day.
It is indeed, Marg. You have a good day too, my friend. 🙂
Beautiful and peaceful! 😀 Have a wonderful day!
I agree, Linda. You have a wonderful day too. 🙂
Meowser that is a beautiful bird!
Purrseion

aka (A Creative Harbor)
Yes indeed, Carol. Happy day to you and Ms. Zoe. 🙂
Sandee,
What a beautiful creature! I’ve only seen swan from a distance. I’m not sure I’ve photographed one but I’d like to. Thanks for hosting the mid-week fun!
I’ve seen them up close when we were in Indiana. Not seen any around here. 🙂
Beautiful swan. Thanks for hosting. Have a nice day! XO
It is indeed, Ellen. You have a nice day too. 🙂
Beautiful! It’s amazing how slow and still they are above the water, while their feet and legs are going like mad under the surface. 🙂
Thanks for hosting, Sandee. Have a terrific Wednesday!
I love to watch the birds navigate through the water. They work very hard getting from point A to point B. 🙂
Such a magical scene!
That’s what I thought when I found this. 🙂
I think the Queen owns all of the swans in the UK. Makes sense since swans are such regal looking birds.
I didn’t know this, but I do know. They are regal looking birds indeed. 🙂
What a cool picture. Love how clear the water is to make such a nice reflection. With all the rain we’ve had of late, everything here is muddy and certainly no reflection would be possible.
We had a wet winter and it rained into June, but now we’re in summer. Hot. 🙂
WW full of grace and peace
Hugs Cecilia
Yes it is, Cecilia. Big hug back. 🙂
While we were in Italy we went to the King’s hunting “lodge” palace and there was this beautiful waterway with swans swimming and enjoying their time there. It was so sweet!
They are most beautiful birds. I’m so happy you had such a great trip. 🙂
Revenge of the ugly duckling–she even got her own ballet.
Yes indeed, Jan. 🙂
Happy WW! Love the water colour in the photo but not a swan fan!
Birds can be mean, but I love them nonetheless. I just keep my distance. 🙂
This lovely image reminds me of a trip to Indiana. My husband and I hoped to enjoy the shores of Lake Michigan but biting flies drove us off. In a fun twist, the man made little pond just off our modest motel patio boasted swans and cygnets (!), not to mention an adolescent raccoon hanging out of the tree overhead. Fun memories.
I really like the picture for Monday, too! Take care, my dear.
There are lots of swans in Indiana. When we were there I saw so many. Big hug, Darla. 🙂
Peace and serenity. ❤️
Yes and yes, Gilly. 🙂
Very beautiful. Thanks for hosting and I hope that you have a wonderful Wednesday
I hope you have a wonderful Wednesday too, Patrick. 🙂
I love the reflection in the water! Beautiful picture!
I thought this shot was perfect and certainly didn’t need any words. 🙂
🙂
A swan to offense to my presence once, while traveling with a group in Ireland. It didn’t bother anyone else…just me! When they fluff out their wings, they look frightening and huge!
They can be most mean. They can hurt you too and I have no idea what sets them off sometimes. 🙂
Swans are graceful calming creatures. The past couple of years on of our local lakes has had a black swan in residence and it is a special sight to behold. Thanks for stopping by Driller’s Place and have a blessed week.
I’ve never seen a black swan. I would like to though. Thanks for joining in on the Wednesday fun. 🙂
Lovely swan…lovely photo! Have a great day and big hugs to you and Zane!
Thank you, Kathe. Hope all is well in your world. Love you. 🙂
Such a beautiful and elegant bird. Happy mid-week.
It is indeed. Happy mid-week too. 🙂
My Wordless Wednesday isn’t, so I’ll spare you! Have a great day!
I do wordy and not wordy. I don’t have rules here. 🙂
Beautiful choice today! Love the reflection!
Happy Wednesday!
That’s what I loved about this shot, the reflection. 🙂
Stunning image. Thanks for visiting us and linking us up. Hugs, Janet, Cooper Murphy and Sawyer.
I loved your post today, Janet. I love those two kitties. 🙂
This speaks peace & beauty! <3
Yes it does, Deborah. 🙂
The photo speaks of calm beauty!
Yes it does. Thanks for swinging by. 🙂
The reflection makes an already wonderful photo, even better! Have a wonderful Wednesday!
Yes it does, my friend. 🙂
Beautiful image, and i hope you have had a beautiful day!
I’ve had a most beautiful day. 🙂
Oh so beautifuls!!!! Butts I hear they can be quite nasty too! BOL! Always a catch….hehehee
Thanks so much for hosting! Always so fun!
Kisses,
Ruby ♥
Yes they can if you get in their space. I enjoy them from afar. Kisses back, Ruby. 🙂
I love that photo! I love swans – from a distance and in pics, don’t like them chasing my and trying to nip me on my bum!
I hear you and they can be mighty mean if you get in their space. I avoid that at all costs. 🙂
What a beautiful photo, and a beautiful bird!! ♥
I thought so too. Loved the reflection as well. 🙂
Swan!
That’s a perfect swam picture.
Yes it is, Binky. I love how this was captured. 🙂
Gorgeous swan, makes me think of the ballet Swan Lake
I’ve not seen a ballet before, but I’ll bet it’s a beautiful ballet. 🙂
I’ve only seen it on TV. Pieces of it show up a lot on movies and television shows as well. I once saw Mikhail Baryshnikov dance because his troupe came to Scottsdale but I had seats way in the back so the dancers looked like tiny dolls. Ballet is very beautiful to watch.
