It’s Wednesday so that means it’s question time. It’s time to ponder and then answer just one question. Okay, you can add all you want as a reason for your answer too. We’d all like that.
Here’s this weeks question: Do you believe in love at first sight?
I believe in lust at first sight. I’m not so sure about love at first sight.
Oh, I believe in chemistry at first sight, for sure. A feeling, a recognition… if only perhaps the promise of a deep love that we feel tugging at our heart.
But then again, what do I know? bahahaha. 😀
Have yourself a perfectly marvelous day, hon! big hugs x0x0
Me too and then sometimes it stays and mostly it passes right on by. Love is a way different and wonderful thing. 🙂
I used to, but now I know that love is a feeling that takes time to grow. There's definitely lust at first sight. I think in retrospect, it's easy to say things like, "I knew the instant I met him he was 'the one.'" But if he'd opened his mouth and proven himself to be a complete jerk by the things he said, you would have immediately changed your mind on that! (I had a lot of bad first dates in my 30s, if you can't tell!)
Yep, it takes us a bit to figure out this. I think the young sometime confuse the lust with love. 🙂
When it comes to people, I believe in attraction at first sight, love takes a little longer. When it comes to cars, yes, I believe in love at first sight.
Well, cars are a way different thing indeed. 🙂
Put me down in the camp that believes in lust at first sight.Lust can grow into to love if the timing is right and both people feel it AND both people want the same things out of life, have the same values.I also believe there are some people who don't know the difference between love and lust and don't give their relationship a real chance at forming the friendship needed with a good coupling because one is into it for the sex and the other one is calling it love.
Yep, sex and love are two different thing entirely. 🙂
I read your question and my first thought was your answer. Yes to lust, no to love at first sight.
I think most of us would agree it's lust at first sight. Most. 🙂
More or less. I believe you can unconsciously recognize certain qualities in a person that will make you like them in an instant. But love is something that takes time.
Yes, but you need to be looking at qualities, not the physique. I'm just saying. 🙂
I don't believe in Love at first sight. It takes time to learn all about new people. Sandee, you and Zane and Little Bit have a wonderful day.
Yep, it does take a lot of time and often we find they aren't that great after all. 🙂
I believe in LUST at first sight 😉
Yep, me too Caren. 🙂
I believe in love at first sight. It happened to me. I met my wife in Octoberfest and after meeting her and spending some time with her later that night I told my friend Lorenzo that I was going to marry that girl and that girl was Mary Lou , my wife of 41 years
( one more month ). Lust had nothing to do with it. She's more sexier today than what she was when we met, well a little lust. Ha,ha,ha.
Have a sexy Wednesday Sandee. Va Va Voom. See ya.
Cruisin Paul
You're an exception to the rule Paul and that's a good thing. 🙂
It's not love until you both sign a prenup!
Bwahahahahahaha. So that's how it works. 🙂
Like Barb, I think it is more chemistry at first sight, be it like or lust. Love takes a bit more time to develop.
Big hugs from sunny nawth jawjah, honey…
I agree Sandy. Yes indeed. 🙂
Yes, with my children, but I loved them even before I saw them for the first time.
Oh me too. I loved my son long before I saw him. 🙂
I don't think I do believe in love at first sight LOL @ Caren and joeh comments
Have a instantattractiontastic day Sandee :-h
I love my funny commenters. Always have and always will. 🙂
I agree, lust first then love can grow, "if it is meant to".
Happy Wednesday! Please stop by and join in the fun

Have a great day!

Love can and often does grow out of lust.
I linked to your Wordless Wednesday post. 🙂
We also believe in love at first sight 🙂
Good for you. Is it different with woof woofs than it is with humans? 🙂
Yes we do! Been Maried for 38 years.
Your Tx furiends,
Samantha & Mom
Well, it works for some. I'm happy for you. 🙂
I'm with you, Sandee. I believe in lust at first sight, which I suppose releases hormones that make you feel good, so it seems like love, but I think true love takes time, and feels better. xoxoxo Marvelous question. Have a super great day! 🙂
It does make you feel good and then often reality sets in. 🙂
Thank you for joining our Oh My Heartsie Girl Wordless Wednesday Link Party.. My answer is – I believe that we must know the person to truly love them ..:) Have a great day, co-host Evija @Fromevijawithlove
You're most welcome. You have a great day too. 🙂
Genrally NO. Exceptions may be possible.
Have a great Wednesday!
That is probably closer to the truth. 🙂
Lust at first sight? You betcha!! Love at first sight- I don't think so…..true love takes time. Lust is a flash in the pan…and then it gets too hot. Hahahah
Big scritches to LB!
Sometimes it does get too hot and then someone turns off the stove. 🙂
I believe that the chemistry can be noticed at first sight but love, to me, is far deeper and doesn't happen at the snap of a finger. 🙂
I agree Linda. Love takes time and lots of work. 🙂
Nope. There is something at first sight, but love it is not.
I agree with you Christine. It's physical attraction and that's a must for love to happen. I'm pretty sure of that. 🙂
Dear Sandee, No, I do not believe in love at first sight.
Have a wonderful day. xoxo Catherine
I don't think many folks do Catherine. 🙂
A hard one—-certainly believe in Lust at first sight, but then you do occasionally see that girl who has another attaction!
We've all experienced that lust thing. Or that guy who has another attraction. 🙂
Infatuation, yes. Love, no.
Yep, infatuation or lust, not love. 🙂
My answer would be the same as yours. Lust yes, love no unless we're talking about kittens or puppies 🙂
Well kitties and puppies is entirely a different subject where love is concerned. 🙂
People, animals, or food?
Whatever you want it to be Binky. It all works. 🙂
I believe and he is my husband now:). Still very much in love:)
See, sometimes that lust turns into love. Good for you. 🙂
Same views with yours.
Happy Wednesday!!
You're a smart one Rachel. I've always known that too. 🙂
Love at first sight? Well, it depends on the definition of love of individuals. For me, I didn't have the magical experience…lol!
Me either. An attraction, but it wasn't love. That came much later. 🙂
When it involves a kitty or puppy, yes! Humans, no, that's just lust!
Hope you have a wonderful week Sandee! Smooches to Little Bit!
I agree 100% about kitties and puppies. Yes I do. 🙂
I think you can feel an instant attraction, but I think love takes time to grow and blossom. Thanks for joining us on Oh My Heartsie Girl Wordless Wednesday!

Yep, pretty much what all of us think. 🙂
My husband has always said he fell for me when he first saw me, but it took almost a year of friendship and being co-workers before he grew on me (like a fungus). Here we are thirty-five years later and we're still an item.
Can I say that I don't know? I think it could be possible. Ask Bill. Lol! I was the one that needed convincing. He knew off the bat. But I will say that the deep love takes time to develop.
