I’m thankful that we have air conditioning in our home and vehicles. It’s HOT this week.
We are thankful for Netflex and Amazon Prime. We do enjoy a movie now and then without commercials.
I’m thankful that hubby and I were fortunate to make it through our careers alive. It’s so dangerous for law enforcement anymore. So different now than when we worked.
I’m thankful for all my blogging buddies. Many have quit their blogs and are on Facebook, but they are still mostly all around.
I’m thankful that I’ve met so many of my blogging buddies. It’s fun to actually meet someone in person after sometimes years of blogging together.
I’m thankful that there are so many wonderful fresh vegetables and fruit this time of year. Pure heaven.
I’m thankful for my and hubbies health. We’re getting older, but we get around very well.
What are you thankful for today?

I moved to the south in 1975, with nothing but 2 window air conditioners for a few years. It. Was. Brutal. I pretty much thank God every day for helping whoever it was who invented air conditioning ever since the day mine was installed. (h) Even more so this year with this epic run of heat and humidity. I don't ever remember a summer like this one.
(k) big hugs xoxo
I so remember the old swamp coolers. They were fair at best. I love central air very much. We've had a very mild summer for the most part. In a heat wave now, but it's been pretty mild. 🙂
A/C ranks as one of the top ten inventions in the world ever.
We"be been eating lots of fresh veggies from our garden. So yummy!
It is so much fun to meet blog friends. Haven't met a single one who didn't end up being exactly as I imagined.
Have a great weekend!
Yes, nothing like fresh veggies and fruit. Summer rocks where that is concerned. 🙂
I'm very thankful for AC since it's been in the 90's near 100. We get a lot of humidity so thank God we have the AC.
Thankful for just being alive each day. Thankful for my lovely wife Mary Lou. I'm worried about her. She's been having tests and we'll see how it will turn out next week.
Have a wonderful Thursday Sandee & Zane. See ya.
Cruisin Paul
Let me know about Mary Lou when you know. Now I'm worried too my friend. 🙂
I too love all the fresh veggies and fruits. I am pretty much living off of them, since it just seems too hot to cook.
Love your thankful posts 🙂
We are too Jen and it's wonderful. 🙂
And Sandee we are thankful for you! Have a lovely cool day!
Yes, our blogging friends rock. That includes you, your hubby and Miss Lucy. 🙂
Good to see you have so much to be thankful for. I am always thankful for my hubby, my mom and niece and all my kitties. And I am with you this week with the air conditioning too 🙂
It's good to enjoy your family isn't it. And the kitties. Especially the kitties. 🙂
You were both in law enforcement? Wow.
Very thankful for air conditioning. Close to a hundred this week with high humidity.
Yes, we were both in law enforcement. 🙂
Algore said something about air conditioning being the greatest threat known to humanity. Do you suppose he avoids places where they have AC?
I doubt he doesn't walk is talk. They seldom do. They just want the rest of us to do as they say. Both sides of the aisle too. 🙂
I am also thankful for our health and for blogging friends. I am thankful for rain and shine.
We could use some rain here. Horrible drought. I hope this winter brings lots of rain. 🙂
I'm going to have to wait until November 9 to see if I'm really thankful.
You and me both. 🙂
I'm thankful for everything in my life right now, even the fleas (old saying, meaning even fleas can lead to good things). 🙂
You had a large bump in the road, but your sure seem to be happier than ever before. I'm guessing there is quite a story to tell. 🙂
We are very thankful for Air Conditioning. And that all my animals seem to be doing all right so far in this heat. Sure glad you and Zane are doing well Sandee. You two do take care, O.K.
I think they do better than we do in the heat. I know you take good care of them too. 🙂
Am totally with you on AC. It's so hard to get a hood night sleep without AC.
A
It's very hard to sleep without air conditioning. I agree. 🙂
My list is nearly the same as yours. We don't have AC, but I'm thankful it's available if we need it. I'm glad you two survived your careers. Crazy times. Makes me sad to think of the gross disrespect for those who put their lives on the line to keep us safe. Yesssss, pure heaven for produce! Yumolicious
Very crazy times and it makes me sad too. The bad guys are the good guys now and the good guys are the bad guys. 🙂
So long hubby and you are mentally alert and young, old age doesn't bother you. We should thank God for keeping us fit.
Have a great day!
We feel the same way. We are doing very well. 🙂
We're thankful for AC too! It's going to be over 90 today for the first time since the beginning of June. Blech! I'm also thankful my hubby forgot his badge for work this morning because it meant I got to see him again when he came to get it! 🙂
Hope you both and stay cool!
That's always a nice surprise when you don't expect to see them and they show back up. Good for you. 🙂
Another nice thankful post,
My ears have gone funny and need popping I got loud tinnitus in them and can't wait till next Thursday to get them syringed and back to normal I will be soooo thankful LOL :-d
Have a thankfultastic day Sandee 🙂
Come on Tuesday so you can have some relief. That's sounds very irritating. 🙂
I'm thankful my Upper GI procedure went well this a.m.
Btw, Thank you both for serving.
I fear what may happen to our police these days.
You're welcome and I too fear for our law enforcement personnel. 🙂
We are also thankful for air conditioning, we are thankful for YOU and we are thankful that today is Cody's 9th Gotcha Day!!! We feel so blessed to have him in our lives (and Dakota) and can't believe it has been 9 years already!!!! catchatwithcarenandcody
They are both very lucky babies and they know it too. I know you and your husband love them very much. 🙂
What would we do without AC in this hot weather?
I don't know and I don't want to either. 🙂
I'm a Floridian, so I'm used to heat, but the worst heat I ever felt was in New Hampshire in 1991/92 (?) when they had a heat wave and there was no air conditioning. Our baby was down to diapers and she was still uncomfortably HOT! Talk about a vacation. Yeah, let's do that again.
Sounds terrible. I hate the heatwaves with the high humidity. 🙂
oh yes, fresh vegies. I'm thankful for those too.
Like white corn on the cob. My favorite summer veggie. 🙂
Today i'm thankful we were at the Family Day ceremony!
Just have a great time with Sweetie. 🙂
Hallelujah for A/C…and fresh fruit and veggies. And an outdoor grill. Too hot to turn on the oven.
Really thankful that blogging brought us together. We MAY be in CA in September. Stay
tuned!
Big hugs, honey…
All those things for sure.
Let us know. We're tuned in. 🙂
Hi Sandee, with the high heat and humidity that we get in the summer here in Montreal, Canada, I am very grateful to have central air conditioning.
We would be miserable without our AC. 🙂
Think of all the generations that had to do without AC or refrigeration. That must have been tough.
They didn't know it even existed so they didn't complain about not having it like we do when we don't. 🙂
