I’m thankful that hubby is doing so much better this week than last week. He’s healing nicely from his surgery and is able to do more.
I’m thankful that last weekends event for International Order of the Blue Gavel went well. The food was fantastic and the company was even better. A great time had by all.
I’m thankful that we are getting together with some boating friends for a wonderful Italian meal today. It’s always nice to spend time with folks you love.
I’m thankful that hubby and I are going to meet Rhonda and her husband this coming weekend in San Francisco. It will be a whirlwind meeting, but at least we’re meeting after all these years. It’s not every day you get to meet folks from New Zealand.
I’m thankful for our health, our love for each other, our ability to be able to physically boat, and our being able to walk. I had a conversation with a friend last weekend who is having a hard time getting from point A to point B. Her legs just don’t want to work anymore.
What are you thankful for today?

So glad you two are enjoying the nicely fixed up boat now. Sounds like lots of fun ahead for you and so glad that Zane is healing up well. Sandee , you and Zane have one great day.
He's doing very well Marg. I'm happy for him, but he still tires easy so he can't overdo. 🙂
I am thankful for the VA Health System. I know that it is badly broken is many locations, but ours seems to be working fairly well…at least for clinic and outpatient needs. When used properly the VA can reduce prescription costs and other medical costs like braces, hearing aids etc. It may not be perfect, but it is helping men and women who have earned every benefit.
They should get what they have earned. I'm glad it is working in your area. 🙂
I am thankful that hubby got the door installed in the back garage yesterday. It's those little things, right?!
Oh… and I am over-the-moon thankful that all 3 of my sisters will be visiting me here in August – at the same time!! This has never happened since I moved from New England to the south in 1975. EPIC!!!!!!
big hugs hon xoxo
It is the little things.
Oh great on having all three of your sister dears visit you. I hope you post lots on Facebook. 🙂

OK, you have Thankful Thursday but when do you get to bare your soul and complain by letting it all out?
Oh I complain about things, but not on Thursday. 🙂
I love reading your Thankful Thursday posts – very uplifting. I'm thankful that I have a new computer (my old one died) and that I can read your Thursday posts 🙂
New computers rock. They are fast and you can get things done so quickly. Enjoy. 🙂
Good to know that your husband is recovering well and able to move about. Its a beautiful thankful post and we are thankful for the people in our lives and our health and all that we have.
He's doing so much better. He wears himself out quickly, but resting a bit and he's fine again. He's taking a nap right now. 🙂

Sometimes we take the simplest things for granted and we shouldn't. 🙂
We do take our bodies for granted, don't we? Until one day they don't work. So glad to hear your husband is doing better.
That's what my friend said. It's hard to see her go through this. 🙂
Today I am just thankful for today. Glad your man is on the mend.
He's got about 2.5 weeks and he'll be clear to do whatever he wants. 🙂
I know it's a big bummer when body parts start giving out. I've seen it with people I love. Hurrah for good working bodies, lol. Honestly! 🙂
I agree. Most of us will have issues if we live long enough. 🙂
I'm thankful for Mary Lou. I think I've said that many times but I don't mind saying it again. I'm thankful for being able to live the way I am and being able to cruise every year.
Cruisin Paul
