I’m thankful that this Saturday is my last official meeting to conduct for IOBG Delta District 19. I’m tired and it’s time to pass the torch to the next person. I’ll be district director next year and that will be a wonderful capstone to 10 years of volunteering in the boating community.
I’m thankful that we can boat over to that last meeting and enjoy the cruise and the company of fellow boaters, along with a fabulous meal.
I’m thankful for the first face lift we’ve done on our boat. The transformation has been nothing short of amazing. If you missed that post click HERE.
I’m thankful for all the opportunities that have come my way throughout my lifetime. I recognized them and worked hard to succeed. Many were very difficult, but I kept at them until they became my reality. Nothing and no one can take those precious successes and memories away from me.
I’m thankful for my neighbors. We watch out for each other, care for each other and respect each other. That doesn’t always happen in neighborhoods.
I’m thankful that I wake up each day and embrace the new day with vigor. It’s a blessing to be alive. Most of all I’m thankful that my glass is half full. Actually it’s completely full and overflowing.
Have a fabulous day.

Sandee, you are very blessed, and I think being thankful/grateful for the people we have and what we have in our lives is so important. I am thankful for every day I have and for the wonderful people in my life, including my fellow bloggers. 🙂
I've always been blessed, but I've had my share of battles in my life. I do enjoy my fellow bloggers too. 🙂

You're most welcome Nancy. I enjoy you and your blog as well. 🙂
It's so great to be thankful for what we have
Yes it is. There is so much negative and that's not a good thing to dwell on. 🙂
What a beautiful post Sandee. I'm thankful for YOU. 🙂 It's nice to know decent, hard working people still exist and that they humbly appreciate and acknowledge their own accomplishments hand in hand with life itself, that's a rare combo and truly a beautiful balancing act.
Thanks MiMi, and I'm thankful for you too. 🙂
Lovely reminder to look at what we have and be grateful.
I am most grateful for each moment given. 🙂
Lucy and I are grateful for everything that our Russell does for us. We are all grateful for our good health. our neighbors and friends, our wonderful family and for living in a wonderful country.
Your thankfulness shows in every post you do. It's just there like it is for us. 🙂
Enjoy your last moment in the spotlight. I am sure your club realizes how lucky they have been to have you all this time. Enjoy your new boat and your step down position.
Many do and it shows in the wonderful support they have given me this past year. 🙂
A lot of wonderful things to be grateful for. Bask in the sunshine of a well deserved overflowing glass 🙂
My glass truly is overflowing. I'm ever grateful about that. 🙂
Its really a great feeling to be doing something you love!
It is indeed Ron. 🙂
We all have a lot to be thankful for, even though things can be tough sometimes.
We all have our crosses to bear, it's our attitude about those crosses that makes all the difference in the world. 🙂
