Thankful Thursday

It’s Thankful Thursday hosted by Brian of Brian’s Home. He wants us to post what we’re thankful for.

I think it’s a good thing to do each week. Focus on the positive things in our lives.

Make sure you link up to the Blog Hop at Brian’s Home and get the code to put on your blog. Then visit all the participants.

I’m thankful that I don’t already have everything I desire. If I did, what would there be to look forward to?

I’m thankful when I don’t know something, it gives me the opportunity to learn.

I’m thankful for the difficult times. Those times help me grow.

I’m thankful for my limitations because they give me opportunities for improvement.

LLB in Our Backyard is having their annual No Tricks, Just Treats for Shelters Blog Hop. This is a fund raiser to help various shelters. This event will span October 30 and 31st. I’m helping by spreading the word about this fund raiser. The LLB Gang will be donating $1 per hop entry and 50¢ for each comment. I’m going to match their donations. So go HERE on Wednesday the 30th and Thursday the 31st and link up to the hop and comment. Let’s do it for all the babies that need our help.

What are you thankful for today?

I feel the same way. If I had everything I’ve ever dreamed about what would be left to look forward too. When we stop and think, there is always something to be thankful for.

We are thankful for a loving home with everything we pups could need. We are also thankful that we will all hide upstairs tonight so we don’t have to deal with the doorbell ringing every two seconds and scary people in costumes roaming all over the place.

I love this, “I’m thankful when I don’t know something, it gives me the opportunity to learn.” I love learning new things and I’m thankful to have a mind and body that cooperates at this moment. – Happy Halloween! xoxo ♥

I am often not thankful enough. Tuesday as we drove from Florida to Lawrenceville, GA and home, the weather was horrid. Torrential rain from Adel to Atlanta! Just thankful for a safe trip. As we come into the Thanksgiving season, I try more and more to go all Dionne Warwick and say a little prayer for the blessings we have. Good post.

These are all ones I couldn’t agree more with – learning is a lifelong process, and seeing it like that opens up endless possibilities. Happy Thursday (and Happy Halloweeeeeen) 😊 xx

I am so thankful for our furry babies, living in a home full of love, fur and laughter. I’m also thankful for our blogging friends where we share our love of our furbabies, the happy times and the sad – thank you all.

Good points, Sandee! 🙂 We all need something to look forward to in life. Seeing all the horrible stuff that is happening around the world, I am thankful to be living in a (relatively) safe and stable country.

Those are all so great! Today we are thankful that we live in the country where there are no trick-or-treaters. Luke would be beside himself if we had all those people coming to the house!

  9. Kathe W. says:

It would be pretty darn boring if we had all we wanted, knew everything , never had life challenges and knew how to solve all problems. Life is a challenge no matter how young or old one is. I am just thankful for my sweet and talented husband. Life is grand with him at my side.

I’m thankful I don’t have to go out on Halloween tonight because it’s cold and rainy, I am thankful I have chicken soup cooking on the stove (that I made) because I have a bad cold again. I am thankful to be cozy at home with hubby and my fur babies! Sending tons of love!!! xoxoxo
