It’s Thankful Thursday hosted by Brian of Brian’s Home. He wants us to post what we’re thankful for.
I think it’s a good thing to do each week. Focus on the positive things in our lives.
Make sure you link up to the Blog Hop at Brian’s Home and get the code to put on your blog. Then visit all the participants.
I’m thankful that I don’t already have everything I desire. If I did, what would there be to look forward to?
I’m thankful when I don’t know something, it gives me the opportunity to learn.
I’m thankful for the difficult times. Those times help me grow.
I’m thankful for my limitations because they give me opportunities for improvement.
LLB in Our Backyard is having their annual No Tricks, Just Treats for Shelters Blog Hop. This is a fund raiser to help various shelters. This event will span October 30 and 31st. I’m helping by spreading the word about this fund raiser. The LLB Gang will be donating $1 per hop entry and 50¢ for each comment. I’m going to match their donations. So go HERE on Wednesday the 30th and Thursday the 31st and link up to the hop and comment. Let’s do it for all the babies that need our help.
What are you thankful for today?
I feel the same way. If I had everything I’ve ever dreamed about what would be left to look forward too. When we stop and think, there is always something to be thankful for.
I hear you. Sometimes the wanting is far better than the getting. Happy Thursday, Ann. 🙂
We are thankful to have a warm dry home. It won’t stop raining!
Happy Halloween!
You can ship that rain our way. It would put out the fires. It’s ever so dry here. 🙂
We are thankful for a loving home with everything we pups could need. We are also thankful that we will all hide upstairs tonight so we don’t have to deal with the doorbell ringing every two seconds and scary people in costumes roaming all over the place.
You are treated most wonderfully and I enjoy seeing what you’re up to every post. 🙂
We are so thankful for all of our blogging buddies and for a super nice home for all of us kitties. Have a great day.
I’m thankful for you and all your kitties and Smoke and Joe too. Feel better soon. 🙂
I love this, “I’m thankful when I don’t know something, it gives me the opportunity to learn.” I love learning new things and I’m thankful to have a mind and body that cooperates at this moment. – Happy Halloween! xoxo ♥
Learning is a wonderful thing. Happy Halloween, Karen. 🙂
Love.

Happy Thankful Thursday, Regine. 🙂
I am often not thankful enough. Tuesday as we drove from Florida to Lawrenceville, GA and home, the weather was horrid. Torrential rain from Adel to Atlanta! Just thankful for a safe trip. As we come into the Thanksgiving season, I try more and more to go all Dionne Warwick and say a little prayer for the blessings we have. Good post.
It doesn’t take much time at all to say some thank you for what we have. 🙂
Love those thankfuls and we are most thankful for you and your friendship. Thanks for joining the Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!
I’m thankful I found you too. Thank you for hosting the Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. 🙂
I like your list, people often don’t realize the value of not having everything. Have a fun Halloween
There are lots of things I’d like to have, but most I don’t need. You have a fun Halloween too. 🙂
These are all ones I couldn’t agree more with – learning is a lifelong process, and seeing it like that opens up endless possibilities. Happy Thursday (and Happy Halloweeeeeen) 😊 xx
Happy Thursday and happy Halloween to you too, Caz. 🙂
Sandee I love your thankfuls today… especially the last one. Never thought of it that way….
Hugs Cecilia
I’m happy you liked my thankful post today. Big hug, my friend. 🙂
Happy Halloween!
Sometimes, when you have stuff, you spend too much time tending it and taking care of it, which detracts from LIVING LIFE!
Yes. We need to live the life we are given. 🙂
I am so thankful for our furry babies, living in a home full of love, fur and laughter. I’m also thankful for our blogging friends where we share our love of our furbabies, the happy times and the sad – thank you all.
You are most fortunate. I know you’re mom loves you to pieces. 🙂
My dear, you have a fantastic, contagious attitude. ~hugs~
Thank you, Darla. You just made my day. 🙂
I’m thankful that there are lots of humans in the world that celebrate the holidays with anipals. Hugs.
Me too. It’s what we all should do. Hugs back. 🙂
Good points, Sandee! 🙂 We all need something to look forward to in life. Seeing all the horrible stuff that is happening around the world, I am thankful to be living in a (relatively) safe and stable country.
Me too, Debbie, me too. 🙂
Those are all so great! Today we are thankful that we live in the country where there are no trick-or-treaters. Luke would be beside himself if we had all those people coming to the house!
I hear you. We go and hide on our boat. Have been doing that for years. It works for us. I ♥ Luke. 🙂
It would be pretty darn boring if we had all we wanted, knew everything , never had life challenges and knew how to solve all problems. Life is a challenge no matter how young or old one is. I am just thankful for my sweet and talented husband. Life is grand with him at my side.
We are both lucky gals, Kathe. Yes we are. Happy Thursday. 🙂
You are right, it’s not always bad to go through hard times!
Sometimes those hard times turn out to be blessings. 🙂
Love your thoughts on thankfulness this week. Great perspective!
Thankful that is FALL. Thankful for my furs. Thankful that I am at home on my couch with my furs.
A perfect place to be. Enjoy. 🙂
I’m thankful I don’t have to go out on Halloween tonight because it’s cold and rainy, I am thankful I have chicken soup cooking on the stove (that I made) because I have a bad cold again. I am thankful to be cozy at home with hubby and my fur babies! Sending tons of love!!! xoxoxo
I hope your cold is short lived. We are on our boat to avoid Halloween. Enjoy your soup and your babies. 🙂
I am happy I don’t have to go anywhere outside until next week! 😺
I know that feeling. Happy Thursday. 🙂
That is a nice list of thankfuls. Happy Halloween! XO
Thank you, Ellen. Happy Halloween. 🙂
Thank you, Ellen. Happy Halloween to you too. 🙂
Wonderful thankfuls today…I also am a big fan of trying to learn something new every day!
It’s good to learn new things. Happy Halloween. 🙂
Ditto on all your thankful for’s, Sandy! Thankful that the blessings keep flowing to inspire us even on those doubtful days. 🙂 xo
I agree. Bette. Happy Thursday. 🙂
We are thankful we have you as a friend.
How sweet. Thank you so much. That just made my day. 🙂
It’s best to always have a dream or two or ten left. Happy Halloween!
I agree. I do the same. Have a great evening. 🙂
My landscaper raking up all the leaves is one think I am thankful for and Sunshine ~ we have had almost a week of rain!
Happy Day to You,
A ShutterBug Explores,
aka (A Creative Harbor)
Oh sunshine is a favorite thing of mine too. Makes me smile. Happy day and weekend to you and Ms. Zoe. 🙂
I’m thankful that Thursday comes only once a week and I have six days to be ungrateful.
You do it so well too, Kismet. I just love you. 🙂
Happy Halloween. Keep your dreams close and pull them out and tackle one to pep u your life.
Shoko
Yes indeed. You’re a smart kitty, Shoko. 🙂
I love your thankful list, and speaking of gratitude, this Halloween, I am thankful for our shelter puppy Eddie. He is the best!
Yes, that’s the best place to get your pup or kitty. They need us the most. 🙂
