It’s Thankful Thursday hosted by Brian of Brian’s Home. He wants us to post what we’re thankful for.
I think it’s a good thing to do each week. Focus on the positive things in our lives.

I’m thankful that today we head to the boat for a weekend of boating fun with our friends.
I’m thankful that we will be going on our first cruise of the year.
I’m thankful that hubby and I so enjoy all things boating.
I’m thankful that the yacht club will be feeding us all weekend. No cooking for us.
What are you thankful for today?
A cruise and someone else doing the cooking? That’s a perfect weekend.
I love it when it’s a no cooking weekend. It doesn’t do much for my diet though. 🙂
Oh have a pawsome weekend and don’t furget to tell us all about it next week
Have FUNS!
Loves and licky kisses

I can do that, Princess Leah. 🙂
Boating sounds like a lot of fun, but no one will be on the water here for a few months as it is frozen. We went on a speed boat in Chicago once. It was fun until we got hit by a wave and were soaked. Then we were scared and hid under the seats! Enjoy your boating.
We can boat year around and do. We had some dicey weather, but we’ve done just fine. 🙂
Sounds like a great weekend! Enjoy! 😀
We love our cruising weekends. 🙂
That sure sounds like a most wonderful weekend in the works, boating is fun or so I hear. Thanks for joining the Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!
There are only six boats going and I’m sure that will change before it’s over. Rainy weather keeps folks at home. 🙂
Ohhh where will your first cruise take you this year?
I’ve only been on one…Alaska it was in all true definitions of the word AWESOME
it was AWESOME. Second to seeing Elvis in person this was the best extracurricular activity EVER
Hugs Cecilia
You took a big cruise. We’re doing a little cruise on our boat. Big difference, but we prefer our boat to the big cruise ships. 🙂
So glad you two are going out on the boat. Sounds like a great time will be had. Sandee, you and Zane have one terrific day.
It will be raining all weekend, but we’re going anyway. 🙂
A cruise? Sounds like you’re in for a great time 🙂 Enjoy your weekend ((Hugs))
We would rather be on our boat than just about any place else. 🙂
Such wonderful things to be thankful for! Today I am thankful for the heating, a comfy bed to sit up in to use my laptop & hot cups of tea as I’m cold & my body hurts. I’m also thankful to remember that the spring always follows the winter 🙂
Enjoy your boating weekend, I hope you have a fantastic time!!
Caz xx
Those are wonderful things to be thankful for. We always enjoy our boating. 🙂
I wish that I didn’t get seasick so easily, because I’m sure I was a seaman in a previous life! But, in this life, I like staying on shore and watching the water. Lucky for me, I live within minutes of Lake St. Clair, The Clinton River, and even The Detroit River. My father was also easily seasick, and he was in the Navy! Poor man.
We are lucky to not get sick. We cruised from San Diego to Hawaii and back and it was rough at times. Neither one of us got sea sick. 🙂
Your first cruise of this year! Yay! We’re having spring today! No telling what the weather will be tomorrow. It’s gonna be a good day!
The buds are on the almond trees. You have to look hard to see them, but they are there. 🙂
That sounds heavenly! Enjoy and hope to see some pics of your excursion. Obviously your weather is better than ours. I’m staring out the window at ice-encrusted trees! 🙂
It’s going to rain all three days, but we’re going anyway. I’ll see what I can do about pictures. 🙂
Sandee,
Sounds like you’re gonna have a nice weekend and anytime someone cooks for you then that’s a nice reason to be thankful. Have fun!
It’s fun to go to different yacht clubs. They all specialize in one dish or another. It’s grand fun. 🙂
Sounds lovely – have fun!
Thank you. We’ll do our best. 🙂
I like sailing, but I am a fair weather boater.
It does make things easier indeed. I’m the one that will get wet. I’m in charge of the lines and that’s outside work. 🙂
Those are all good things to be thankful for.
I am thankful that last year I was able to find a company willing to insure me so I could get back to cruising again. I really missed it through 2017. We have three booked for this year, the first being in April.
Enjoy your cruises. I’ve many friends that love to cruise the big ships. 🙂
You had me at cruise, yacht, no cooking! 🙂 Wow. Exciting stuff! PLUS, those beautiful gr. grandbabies! Lots of thankful going around. So, so happy for you. – I am thankful to be heading back east to see two of my kiddos graduate and see my grandbabies and all of my family. 🙂 – Happy dances all around, Sandee!!! Muah! <3
Have fun visiting your kiddos and your grands. Such a fun thing to do. I’m doing the happy dance too. Happy day. 🙂
This sounds lovely. Here it is still too cold to have fun on the water.
It’s cold here too, but we’re going anyway. Happy weekend. 🙂
always thankful for my sweet, smart and oh so clever sweetheart of a husband.
You and I are very lucky to have wonderful husbands. Happy weekend. 🙂
The yacht club is feeding you all weekend?! I am so in! Have a great time 🙂
Yes they are feeding us all weekend. We’re happy about that. Have a great weekend, Jen. 🙂
Hooray! It makes my heart smile to think of you and Mr. Zane back on the water. Scoring not having to cook for the weekend is the best!
The sun is out this morning, but it’s going to rain later today and then a lot of rain on Saturday and Sunday. Oh well, we’re going anyway. 🙂
Wonderful thankfuls. I hope you have a wonderful time this weekend. XO
We hope so too, Ellen. We always seem to have a great time on our yacht club weekends. 🙂
I am thankful I went for my first cruise and enjoyed it very much.
I’m glad you enjoyed your cruise too, Nancy. It’s good when you have a great time. 🙂
I’m a bit late and playing catchup. Sounds like you had a great time on the first cruise of the year. What number are you on now?
