Thankful Thursday

It’s Thankful Thursday hosted by Brian of Brian’s Home. He wants us to post what we’re thankful for. I think it’s a good thing to do each week. Focus on the positive things in our lives.

Make sure you link up to the Blog Hop at Brian’s Home and get the code to put on your blog. Then visit all the participants.

I’m thankful that we are heading toward spring. Next month we’ll get a taste of spring and the blossoms will start showing on the fruit trees. It’s my favorite time of year.

I’m thankful that the two new great grand-babies are doing well. Mom and dad are happy to have them home and thriving. We are too.

I’m thankful when the sun comes out. I know I have SAD and when the sun goes away for long periods of time I can feel the change in myself. A sunny day makes me smile.

What are you thankful for today?

We don’t have much of a winter here. Usually December and January and then it starts to warm back up. Yes we are happy the babies are home. 🙂

I love it when the sun comes out. I can remember back some years ago that the fog would never lift. I would travel above the fog line to get some sun. You have a super day too, Marg. 🙂

We love winter sunshine days because they are so bright, but we also like the dark hours of winter because they force us to cut back and relax. It also makes life more cozy. Glad the babies are both home.

We’ll have at least one more month of winter here in middle Missouri. We’re getting the coldest temps of the season for the next few days/nights single digits at night and wind chills below freezing. Brrrrr! Makes spring all the more welcome. xoxo

I don’t care for too hot, but I love when it’s warm. It could be 80 degrees all year long. I don’t like cold weather either. 🙂

I’m thankful for last night’s internet outage here was cleared up by this morning. The rest of you aren’t thankful for that because you have to read my drivel.

    • Sandee says:

I’m happy your internet issues are behind you. I love reading your drivel, Kismet. Don’t you know that I love you? You should. 🙂

I’m thankful I live, as you do, in the Central Valley where spring comes in February when the almond trees bloom across the Valley. I am so ready to welcome the sun.

We’re giving them some time with their parents and the grandparents. We’ll be planning a trip shortly. Hugs back, my friend. 🙂

Good news on the babies! Thank you for sharing. Hope you’re seeing the sun today! I’m lucky, not really a sufferer of SAD. But my Christmas cactus isn’t looking too thrilled. lol

I’ve always had an issue with SAD. Not severe, but bad enough. I’m glad we’ve had enough sunshine between all the storms. 🙂

I kept getting an error message. You can delete one of these entries. I am so sorry. It kept saying it could not accept my photo. A silly photo I took. Hee Hee! Glad to hear those babies are doing good. Thinking about all babies this days…..life is hard but Harrison turns 3 in February and Brody 1. Where does time go? I know you miss your LIttle Bit. I am certainly done with pets. Everytime we lose one it gets harder and harder. I am glad you have sunshine. Our’s finally broke though. Couldn’t get those silly puppies inside and it is cold out there. They have fun romping in the snow and sunshine. Take care and enjoy the Vitamin D today! HUGS

The babies are doing so very well. Mom and Dad are very happy to have them home. Less long trips to visit them too. Hubby says no more pets. It about killed him to lose Little Bit. I was bad enough, but he was really hurting. 🙂

I am sooo happy the grandbabies are home and thriving!! I am BEYOND thankful that I am FINALLY feeling HUMAN again! I got sick late this past Monday with an awful chest cold…….chills, fever, hacking cough, everything………I forced myself to go to sleep at a normal time for 2 nights, I made homemade chicken soup and today is the best I have felt since Monday, thank DOG!!! BOL!!!!!!!!!

    • Sandee says:

I’m glad you’re feeling better. We try very hard to keep our hands clean and we always wipe down the grocery carts. So far so good, but I’m sure a cold will get us at some point. Scritches to the boys. 🙂

    • Sandee says:

I’m sure the grandparents are there a lot. It’s their first grand children. I remember with my granddaughter was born. I was there a lot. 🙂

Happy Thankful Thursday. We are very thankful for the warm weather we had today but it came with some rain. The cold will be back by tonight. So we are happy with each passing day that spring time will be here soon. Thanks for the share. Have a wonderful day.
