I’m thankful that hubby and I are headed to our boat for the weekend. We also have a cruise to attend with our yacht club. We’ve been missing lots of our local cruises because of IOBG. It’s good to get back to some boating.
I’m thankful that we’ll be seeing some boating buddies that we’ve not seen in quite a while. I miss our time together and it will be good to catch up.
I’m thankful that I’m finally well. I rarely cough anymore and I feel great. I cannot tell you how thankful I am about that. Feeling good rocks.
I’m thankful that hubby and I decided to get smart phones. I’ve not had a cell phone since I retired in 2003. Don’t laugh. It’s time. Hubby and I are scratching our heads a great deal over not knowing how things work. It will be quite the learning curve. We each have a phone that looks like this:
I’m thankful that Seymour the pet rock and his sidekick Element are here for a visit. They are up to something and we’ve a feeling that Element is just as bad as Seymour. I love Seymour, but I don’t trust him one bit.
What are you thankful for today?

glad to hear your well again
G'day to all at the yacht club
I'll tell everyone you said hello. They will like that Phil. 🙂
Nice phone Sandee you will both soon get used to it Android is quite easy to use a weeks time you will know it back to front 🙂
Have a taptastic day 🙂
We are doing much better already. We both like our new phones. 🙂
smart phones tend to make me feel stupid. For those of us born when everyone had a rotary phone there's a bit of a learning curve 🙂
Have a good time on your boat
I'm not feeling as stupid as I did the first couple of days. Things are getting better. 🙂
You got me wondering about the phone. I think it's about time that I get a cell phone. We've been having so many problems with my land phone and it seems that Bell is not really helping a lot. The day before, I didn't have the use of my phone for over 3 hours and is crazy.
Have a fantastic time on your cruise ship. Oh by the way, what is the name of your ship? See ya Sandee & Zane.
Cruisin Paul
We think we'll give up the landline soon. 🙂
I would get your grand kids to teach you about your phone. My 3 year old can maneuver it faster than me. It's scary. Glad you are felling better!
Thank you auto-correct for nothing. Felling? How about feeling?
My granddaughter is a pro with her phone. 🙂
I knew you meant feeling. 🙂
Your health, getting back to yourboat are great news. The greatest news is 'iPhone for hubby and you.
Have a great day!
We feel wonderful and that rocks. We have an Android not an iPhone. 🙂
I'm thankful that you and your husband are able to resume the activities that you dearly love. I never gave up the cell phone at retirement, but I often feel like I am still on the learning curve. Have a blessed cruise.
Well, I didn't miss the phone for years and then all of a sudden I felt we needed smartphones. We're both happy. 🙂
That's the first step to going back to work.
You may be on to something. 🙂
Have a great weekend boating!I am glad you feel better.
We're looking forward to spending some time on our boat. It's been too long. 🙂
Sure glad you are feeling better. Also good luck with that new phone. It is so frustrating learning all the new fangled stuff.
You have a great time out on your boat. Sandee, you and Zane have the best day.
We're feeling wonderful and we're getting the hang of our phones. It's all good. 🙂
Before I had a smart phone, I thought I don't need one. But after having one, I cannot do without a smart phone. Enjoy your time with your boating buddies.
We're enjoying our new phones. The world is at our fingertips. That's kind of neat. 🙂
Being well again after being sick is such a joy! Tell Seymour and Element that if they can't behave, they can't come visit any more. That might get them to at least rethink their nefarious plans long enough for you to catch whatever-it-is and thwart it.
We're working on that. They are fun though. I have to give them that. 🙂
I'm glad you are well and enjoying the boat. You both worked hard to get it ship shape and deserve to enjoy the fruits of your labor. That looks like a great phone! I am an iphone gal, through and through though. I tried switching and hated it. You will love the conveniences having a smart phone add to your life, especially the camera!!! That's always my favorite part. Have a wonderful weekend!
So far the phone is working fine. I'm slow typing. 🙂
I'm sorry but I had to laugh about the phones! I wish I didn't have one!!!! I am thankful that my hubby is out on a tutoring job interview…….times have been super bad for us lately and I am praying he gets this job.
So happy you have some fun things in store for you! xoxo DakotasDen
I'm responding via my phone. Pretty cool. 🙂
I'm glad you're feeling better and your boat is ship shape. Sounds like an
epic voyage is on the horizon and you'll have awesome phone service… can you hear me now;)
We are looking forward to a cruise. 🙂
Have one of the grandkids show you how to use the phone. Lol! I'm sure you'll figure it all out. Yay for boat time!
Sarah did that already. She did a lot of laughing. 🙂
I'm stickin' with my "stupid" flip phone as I am of Scottish heritage…bwa hahah So great to hear you are all better and about to have more fun! Big Hugs!
As long as you have a phone it's all good. 🙂
My mom always said you have to watch out for the silent type, so I wouldn't trust Seymour either. 🙂
I too switched over to a smart phone. Like everyone says, once you do, you fall in love. 🙂
Glad you're feeling better!
I'm liking the smartphone more each day.
We don't trust Seymour. 🙂
Once you get the hang of your smart phone you will wonder how you survived so long without it. 🙂
I'm guessing you're right about this. I'll let you know. 🙂
I'm glad to hear that you're well again. And it's nice that you're getting back to boating.
Good luck with your smartphones. Now I'm just about the only one without one!
I am responding to your comment on my phone. 🙂
