It’s Thankful Thursday hosted by Brian of Brian’s Home. He wants us to post what we’re thankful for. I think it’s a good thing to do each week. Focus on the positive things in our lives.
Make sure you link up to the Blog Hop at Brian’s Home and get the code to put on your blog. Then visit all the participants.
After being on a cruise for so long home is that special place I want to be.
“The magic thing about home is that it feels good to leave, and it feels even better to come back.” Wendy Wunder
“Chase your dreams but always know the road that’ll lead you home again.” Tim McGraw
“No one realizes how beautiful it is to travel until he comes home & rests his head on his old, familiar pillow.” Lin Yutang
What I’m saying is it’s nice to be…Home!
What are you thankful for today?

I can so relate to the pillow quote. A comfy bed and the perfect pillow are in my top ten of thankful. Home has always been a feeling to me rather than a place. – Also. I just want to tell you, I’m thankful for you, Sandee. You really do get me. 🙂
I love home too. It’s nice to go away for a bit, but coming home is the sweetest. 🙂
I hope you had a wonderful time! I agree, it’s nice to go and nice to come home. Both blessings in and of themselves. 🙂 Have a great Thankful Thursday.
Yes indeed. You have a great Thankful Thursday too. 🙂
I thank God for a roof over my head, food in my belly, and friends like you!! Have a awesome day (((Hugs)))
What a lovely thing to say, Michelle. I feel the same about you. You have an awesome day too. Hugs back. 🙂
Yes, getting away is nice but coming back home again is heavenly
Heavenly is an excellent word to describe coming home. 🙂
Nothhing better than Home sweet home. SAndee you and Zane have one fantastic day.
Nothing better indeed. You have a fantastic day too, Marg. 🙂
Oh yes, we love having a home, seriously! Thanks for joining the Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!
Having a home is wonderful. So many don’t. I love your Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. 🙂
At my age leaving home is done only out of occasional necessity.
I hear you, Jan. The car really only know how to to to the doctor or dentist office, manicure and pedicure and my hair dresser. Okay and to the grocery store. 🙂
there’s no place like home!
You’re right, Kathe. There’s no place like home with your loved ones. 🙂
I sleep best in my own bed!
Me too. My bed is the very best. 🙂
So very true!! I guess that’s the best of both worlds. 🙂 Not able to play this week as I’m covering for an employee on a vacay! Have just enough time to check on my bloggy friends during breaks.
Not a problem. The good thing about memes is you do them when you can and don’t if you can’t. 🙂
‘Old, familiar pillow.’ That’s more true than I’d like to admit. ~grin~ Washing bed sheets today, I decided we need new ones. Welcome home. And have a blessed day!
Nothing like clean bedding. It’s the very best. You have a blessed day too, Darla. 🙂
To quote Dorothy, “there is no place like home ” 🙂
And Dorothy was very right. 🙂
I am thankful for my precious new granddaughter, she is only a month and a half old but she already has me completely smitten and never ceases to make me smile. Have a great day! xoxo
Grand-babies can do that and very quickly. Great grand-babies are awesome too. 🙂
Home indeed and so very purrfect for us today…bringing Madi home.
I love the graphic…
I remember bringing Little Bit home. I know what you’re feeling today. Big hugs back, Cecilia. 🙂
Everyday I crawl out of bed makes me thankful….:)
Ditto here. Being on the right side of the dirt is a good thing. 🙂
That is so very true. Whenever Mom and Dad are planning a trip, they get really excited about it and then usually have a great time. But they both agree that coming home is one of the best parts of the trip. We agree too:)
Woos – Lightning, Misty, and Timber
Coming home is indeed the best part of the trip. I agree. 🙂
Looks like my house, but no cats in the windows!
Cats love windows. I so remember. 🙂
Of course that famous quote comes into my mind, “There’s no place like home!” Now click your heels and repeat it three times! 😂 😁
There’s no place like home indeed. 🙂
Hopefully Celestine will be going to the rehab unit tomarrow! She is feeling better, but they still are tinkering with her insulin.Soon I will be posting some really good personel news.
I’m glad she’s doing better, Mike. You both are in my prayers. I’ll wait for your good personal news. 🙂
Welcome home! May you have a nice time relaxing in your own “diggings”.
I’m enjoying our digs very much. 🙂
I like the quotes! I do enjoy short tours and holidays but at the end, home is still the best.
Home is indeed the best. 🙂
We don’t travel much, simply because home is where I’d rather be! 🙂
We like being homebodies too. 🙂
I love that song from Tim McGraw. Home is my favorite place too. It’s the people though and not the place. I guess we could be anywhere as long as I had my people.
Yes, it’s the people, not the place so much, but I do miss my things and my bed. My routine. 🙂
I agree with these quotes. I love to go somewhere, to travel but then I’m happy to be home after.
