Thankful Thursday

It’s Thankful Thursday hosted by Brian of Brian’s Home. He wants us to post what we’re thankful for.

I think it’s a good thing to do each week. Focus on the positive things in our lives.

Make sure you link up to the Blog Hop at Brian’s Home and get the code to put on your blog. Then visit all the participants.

I’m thankful for new dishes we’ve found on Cooking Professionally and Command Cooking. We found Mississippi Pot Roast recipe that we’re going to fix for our anniversary on the 29th of this month. We tried the Diner-Style Meatloaf and it was the best meatloaf ever. There are many more and hubby and I find such joy in finding something we want to try and then shopping and preparing the dish. Some have been okay, but most have been so delicious. Food brings people together.

I’m thankful for my husband that loves the same things I do. I love the same things that he does too. He’s my best friend and my soulmate. We enjoy each day that’s given to us.

What are you thankful for today?

There’s some good looking dishes on those sites. I think I gained a few pounds just looking.
Life is more enjoyable when you can spend it with someone who likes the same things.

These days we can easily find whatever recipes we need on the internet. It is always good to have someone enjoying the same things as we do. Always thankful for the little things we enjoy.

both recipes sound good to me and are much like what I cook that my mother taught me growing up. she did not use the spices some use. its great to have a spouse that likes the same thing you do. I would not know, never had one.

Speaking of food today was hunting/grocery day. I am thankful I have become more patience and that I am queen of making do with what I can find.

We usually go out to eat or get take out, but I do want to start cooking again. There are so many places online to get recipes. The meatloaf you mentioned sounds good.

Diner–style meatloaf sure sounds delicious! I love that you and your husband do the shopping, preparation, and eating, of course, together. 🙂
