It’s Thankful Thursday hosted by Brian of Brian’s Home. He wants us to post what we’re thankful for.
I think it’s a good thing to do each week. Focus on the positive things in our lives.
Make sure you link up to the Blog Hop at Brian’s Home and get the code to put on your blog. Then visit all the participants.
This week I’m going to work hard to accomplish the following things:
- Find something that makes me happy.
- Something to give someone else to make them smile.
- Find one thing that I love to smell.
- Find one thing I enjoy looking at.
- Find something that’s my favorite color.
- Find something I am thankful for in nature.
- Find something that I can use to make a gift for someone.
What are you thankful for today?

That’s the plan, Ann. 🙂
That’s a wonderful list. I need to give this a try too!
We need to spread all the love and kindness we can. 🙂
Today we are thankful we have each other and everyone seems to be healthy right now. We lost a dear family member yesterday, so we are reminded to cherish every day we have. Your thankfuls are great and super positive. We love positivity.
That’s a wonderful thankful. Every day is a gift and at 70 I’m even more happy with each day I’m given. 🙂
this is a great list, for yourself and for others. spreading happiness is always a good thing to do…since we are leaving in a few minutes for bob’s final doc visit for his knee surgery, today I am thankful it is OVER, no more visits and he says he is thankful he doesn’t have a 3rd leg because 2 new knees is his limit
I’m glad Bob did so well. Now he can walk with you and Beau again. Excellent. 🙂
I’m here to make you happy.
And you do make me happy, Kismet. I love you. 🙂
Last night, I made The Hubby laugh hard enough for tears, and it was such a wonderful moment!
We all forget sometimes that smiles, giggles, and belly laughs make everything better.
Yes indeed. I know this wonderful feeling. 🙂
What a great idea! I am going to copy you this week! Thanks toots! xoxoxo
I know you’ll pull this off with ease. You’re most welcome. Love and hugs all around. 🙂
Sandee,
I like your approach with your list of to-do to make yourself or others happy. In doing so, this also shows your gratitude and love for life. Reading your daily contributions make me happy! 🙂
Thank you, Cathy. There is so much hate and negativity in the world. I won’t go there. 🙂
thankful for a NO snow day!
That’s a great thankful. 🙂
Wow! I love your list! I’m going to work on these items too! Happy Thursday!
We can spread lots of love around. Happy Thursday. 🙂

Hugs Cecilia
You’re most welcome, my friend. Hugs. 🙂
Thank you 💗
You’re welcome, Cloudia. 🙂
I love what you are planning to do for the coming week. I’m thankful I have nowhere to be in this bitter cold and snow that we have! I’m thankful I went to the grocery store before it hit!
I’m glad you’re stocked up on supplies. It’s awful when you’re caught off guard and don’t have enough. Stay warm. Scritches to the boys. 🙂
That sounds like a really uplifting kind of week! Thanks for joining our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!
I try for uplifting each and every day. Sometimes I pull it off and sometimes not so much. Thank you for hosting the fun. 🙂
Now that list sounds like pawfect for finding happiness. 💙
And so easy to do. Scritches to the pups and a smooch to Norman. 🙂
What a positive and happy list – have fun getting those things done!
We should do for others every single day. 🙂
I like that list. I may try to do that too. XO
You do this all the time, Ellen. Scritches to the kitties. 🙂
What a wonderful list and a great way to take stock this week!
I’m going for happy each and every day. Me and everyone else I come in contact with. 🙂
That is a lovely list.
I am thankful that last year we celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary and my 70th birthday. With my father dying at 34 and my mother was 50, I never thought I would reach my milestones. Every day is a bonus that I am grateful for.
I’m with you on every day is a bonus. I’m 70 and feel 20 most of the time. Don’t look it, but feel it. 🙂
Wonderful to-do-list, Sandee! 😍 Doing for others is sure to make the doers happy too. Thanks for sharing this great idea! xo
It sure does, Bette. Happy Thankful Thursday. 🙂
good luck sandee! <3
today I am thankful for my PA, my dog, my health, tea, books, music, the radio!
Thank you, Carol Anne. Have a great day. 🙂
Great list!
I’m thankful we still have heat, as it’s been so cold, with snow too. Our cold water pipe froze up in the kitchen. Hope it warms up soon.
Happy Thursday! <3
Oh I hate the frozen pipes. I so remember having that happen in our old house. Hasn’t happened in our new house. Happy Thankful Thursday, Barbara. 🙂
Such a lovely idea, Hugs!
We can all spread the kindness and love. Hugs back. 🙂
Great idea about the list. I hope you are having a great week!
Hubby and I are having a great week. I hope you are too, Yvonne. 🙂
I am grateful for pee pads so I don’t have to go outside in the cold and wet.
I hear you. They are wonderful inventions. 🙂
I hope you found them! Knowing you, you probably found a million of them! This week has been long, but I have had quite a few wonderful moments like you shared on your list, that makes it good! 🙂
It does indeed, Jen. 🙂
Great thankfuls & list.
Hey please forgive us Sandee for being strangers but ever since Mom Crystal got her second Pfizer vaccine shot, she’s been sick and that’s been since 12-13-2021. She’s still sick and isn’t even sure what’s she got. She just wants to get better and soon but we couldn’t stay away to much longer.
Daisy Mae
I’m sorry mom is sick and has been sick for so long. Not good. Get well soon. Scritches to sweet Daisy Mae. 🙂
That’s a lovely plan, Sandee! 🙂 We could all use more happiness these days. I am thankful that January is over and Febraury is a short month. It’s been a long hard winter, so far.
Yes we could and I try to spread it around every single day. 🙂
Yes indeed, Debbie. It’s been cold here but pretty mild this winter. 🙂
