Thankful Thursday

It’s Thankful Thursday hosted by Brian of Brian’s Home. He wants us to post what we’re thankful for.

I think it’s a good thing to do each week. Focus on the positive things in our lives.

Make sure you link up to the Blog Hop at Brian’s Home and get the code to put on your blog. Then visit all the participants.

This week I’m going to work hard to accomplish the following things:

  1. Find something that makes me happy.
  2. Something to give someone else to make them smile.
  3. Find one thing that I love to smell.
  4. Find one thing I enjoy looking at.
  5. Find something that’s my favorite color.
  6. Find something I am thankful for in nature.
  7. Find something that I can use to make a gift for someone.

What are you thankful for today?

I like the idea of having a list like that. Not only will you be finding what makes you happy but you’ll be helping to make someone else be happy too. We could all use a little more happy.

Today we are thankful we have each other and everyone seems to be healthy right now. We lost a dear family member yesterday, so we are reminded to cherish every day we have. Your thankfuls are great and super positive. We love positivity.

this is a great list, for yourself and for others. spreading happiness is always a good thing to do…since we are leaving in a few minutes for bob’s final doc visit for his knee surgery, today I am thankful it is OVER, no more visits and he says he is thankful he doesn’t have a 3rd leg because 2 new knees is his limit

    Sandee,

I like your approach with your list of to-do to make yourself or others happy. In doing so, this also shows your gratitude and love for life. Reading your daily contributions make me happy! 🙂

I love what you are planning to do for the coming week. I’m thankful I have nowhere to be in this bitter cold and snow that we have! I’m thankful I went to the grocery store before it hit!

    • Sandee says:

I’m glad you’re stocked up on supplies. It’s awful when you’re caught off guard and don’t have enough. Stay warm. Scritches to the boys. 🙂

    That is a lovely list.
I am thankful that last year we celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary and my 70th birthday. With my father dying at 34 and my mother was 50, I never thought I would reach my milestones. Every day is a bonus that I am grateful for.

    Great list!
I’m thankful we still have heat, as it’s been so cold, with snow too. Our cold water pipe froze up in the kitchen. Hope it warms up soon.
    Happy Thursday! <3

    • Sandee says:

Oh I hate the frozen pipes. I so remember having that happen in our old house. Hasn’t happened in our new house. Happy Thankful Thursday, Barbara. 🙂

  8. Jen says:

I hope you found them! Knowing you, you probably found a million of them! This week has been long, but I have had quite a few wonderful moments like you shared on your list, that makes it good! 🙂

  9. Crystal says:

    Great thankfuls & list.
Hey please forgive us Sandee for being strangers but ever since Mom Crystal got her second Pfizer vaccine shot, she’s been sick and that’s been since 12-13-2021. She’s still sick and isn’t even sure what’s she got. She just wants to get better and soon but we couldn’t stay away to much longer.

That’s a lovely plan, Sandee! 🙂 We could all use more happiness these days. I am thankful that January is over and Febraury is a short month. It’s been a long hard winter, so far.
