It’s Thankful Thursday hosted by Brian of Brian’s Home. He wants us to post what we’re thankful for.
I think it’s a good thing to do each week. Focus on the positive things in our lives.
Make sure you link up to the Blog Hop at Brian’s Home and get the code to put on your blog. Then visit all the participants.
I’m thankful for having enough to eat. There are many that go to bed each night hungry. Not only in other countries, but here in America. No one should be hungry.
I’m thankful for having a home and a place to rest my head each night. Everyone should have a home and a place to rest their head each night.
I’m thankful for having modern conveniences, like appliances, toilets and showers, a washer and dryer and a vehicle to get me to all the places I need to go. I’m thankful each and every day for all the blessings I have.
What are you thankful for today?

I’m thankful for the working furnace that keeps my house warm. Warm clothes to wear and boots without holes also.
Amen to heat in the winter and air conditioning in the summer. 🙂
I am very thankful for the very same things that you are, Sandee.
I’m also thankful that I know you, Miss Molly. 🙂
When Mom thinks of people here in the 1800’s, she is amazed that anyone survived. That was a tough life. We have it on easy street these days for most things. Just living without heat and a/c would be so tough.
True grit back then. We have it so easy now. Happy Thankful Thursday. 🙂
I am thankful for all those things too.
We are most blessed. 🙂
I agree, we should all be thankful that we have the things you mentioned, they are necessities not wants and there are millions of others who live with out that. the refuges in the fire in New York, come to mind. the building caught fire and 19 died. our cites here are full of people who are hungry and living desolate lives. and also countries that most of the country is the same. I am also thankful for the necessites of life
We are so blessed and many want to squabble about silly things. 🙂
Those are really wonderful thankfuls, we’re all should be blessed like that. Thanks for joining our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!
I wish everyone in the world had these things and more. 🙂
I am thankful for all, even that which I do not understand.
Amen to that, Paul. 🙂
Sandee,
I’m thankful for all the above as well. God is so good! Have a blessed day, my friend!
God is so good indeed, Cathy. Be blessed too. 🙂
I’m thankful for those things too, Sandee! Too often, we take our modern conveniences for granted. Happy Thursday!
We do indeed, my friend. 🙂
There are some who consume more than their share of food. They can’t hide it so we know who they are.
Yes indeed. Yes we know who they are. I love you, Kismet. 🙂
Happy Thursday, Sandee! 🙂 Yes, those are all good things to be thankful for. There are so many people in dire circumstances, all over the world. I am thankful for my husband and can’t imagine life without him. It’s something that crosses my mind from time to time, as I get older.
Here is California there are thousands and thousands of homeless living in horrible conditions. 🙂
Yes, I’ve spent a lot of time in the San Diego area (my parents lived there for ~40 years) and have seen it first-hand. Very sad! 😞
Perfect thankfuls Sandee- we are lucky for sure to have a safe and comfortable life. Hugs to you and Zane!
Yes indeed, Kathe. I’ve always been thankful for all the blessing we have. Love and hugs all around. 🙂
So thankful for all these things and for a beautiful family to enjoy them with… Have a wonderful day, Sandee!
Yes and yes, Bette. You have a wonderful day too. 🙂
Mom and Dad agree – so many things in their everyday lives (and ours too) to be thankful for. We always seem to have “enough”, and the peeps do try very hard to share with others in need.
Woos – Lightning, Misty, and Timber
Yes and having enough is a huge blessing. Happy Thankful Thursday. Scritches to the pups. 🙂
Happy Thursday! Wishing you a great day and upcoming weekend! <3
Wishing you the same, Barbara. 🙂
Sandee each week you have the most wonderful list of thankfuls.
Today was grocery day in Dixie. Oh dear me did I tell all who were working how thankful I was for them.
Finally after 3 weeks of hardly any canned Cat food they were stocking the shelves.
Hugs Cecilia
What wonderful news. So happy to find what you need. Love and hugs, my friend. 🙂

With you being thankful I have food to eat! lol….A good structure over my head…my furs…..my kids….my grands….LIFE.
Yes Life, Pam. We have so much to be thankful for. 🙂
Beautiful sentiments to remind us all of what we have. Have a great day!
It sure does, Yvonne. Most of us are so blessed. 🙂
Wonderful thankfuls. I am with you on all of them. We are truly blessed. XO
Yes we are and many never look around at all the blessings they have. 🙂
I too am thankful for all I have. I cannot imagine not knowing when or what I might eat or where I would find shelter and be safe. The people living on the streets are stronger and braver than me.
There are many that don’t know where they are going to sleep or when they are going to eat. 🙂
Indeed, we have so many blessings. Friends, too. Hugs!
Yes we do, my friend. 🙂
There is so much we should be thankful for that we take for granted.
I agree with you. Happy weekend. 🙂
Dearest Sandee,
So good to be here. I know its been ages and I apologise for being awol.
Loved your gratitude post and I decided to hop in with my word of the year post, as I’m so grateful for having been entrusted with this lovely word for 2022.
How are things with you?
I love you gratitude list as even I give gratitude every day for these apparently insignificant things which are so valuable in our lives. The cosy blanket I get to snuggle and sleep in, the heater, hot water baths, the delicious food on our plates, my comfy pillow, my warm clothes as the temperature dips and so much more.
Sending you warm hugs, blue skies, and dollops of love, laughter and peace in 2022.
Rainbow hugs my friend. <3 <3

Life is good here. It’s good to see you, my friend. Rainbow hugs to you too. 🙂
Amen on your gratitude list for this week! Last night I was laying in my warm comfortable bed thinking just what a blessing it is to have a safe and nice home!
I hear you. I’m so thankful for all that we have. 🙂
It’s those simple things in life that really make us appreciate what we have. Here’s to bountiful times, my friend!
Yes indeed, my friend. Have a fabulous day and weekend. Scritches to the pups and a smooch to Norman. 🙂
Your thankfuls are wonderful! Living in the Great White North, I am also thankful for the guys and girls that plow the roads so we can get from A to B and so can the things we need (like groceries). And we are especially thankful for you! We love your hops and your comments!
I would be happy for the folks that are plowing the roads. You have to go out to get essentials. Love and hugs all around. 🙂
I think those are all great, and I am with you 100%!
We have so much to be thankful for and some folks never even notice all the blessings they have. 🙂
These things most of us take for granted really touch home here. I never know if my younger son has them, and can only pray his life changes.
I hear you. I have a son like that too. 🙂
I’m sorry to hear that. It’s heartbreaking at times.
