Thankful Thursday

It’s Thankful Thursday hosted by Brian of Brian’s Home. He wants us to post what we’re thankful for.

I think it’s a good thing to do each week. Focus on the positive things in our lives.

Make sure you link up to the Blog Hop at Brian’s Home and get the code to put on your blog. Then visit all the participants.

Today I’m thankful that we are going to visit our granddaughter, her hubby and my three great grands for the first time since February 2020. The twins have grown so much since the last time we saw them that I doubt they will remember us. We’ll have to reacquaint ourselves. This is how they looked the last time we saw them.I’m thankful that we’ve stayed in touch during this time. We helped raise our granddaughter and she’s ever so special to us. She just finished school and she’s about to take her California boards to become a licensed vocational nurse. We are so proud of her.

What are you thankful for today?

That’s a great Thankful. Those are all beautiful great grandkids. I am thankful that my older son will be able to spend a couple of nights with us over July 4th holiday, since that hasn’t happened since the pandemic started.

We hope you have a fabulous visit. We are fortunate to have five of our six grandchildren very close by. Up until recently we didn’t get to see them a lot, but now all is pretty much back to normal. But we haven’t seen our son, daughter-in-law, and sixth grandson since September 2019!!! We were hoping to get together with them this summer, but our daughter-in-law has to have rotator cuff surgery in the next few weeks and will be in a rehabilitative state for quite some time. We hope maybe we can get together in the fall.

    Enjoy those kiddos.

I’m just filled with so much joy that you got to see your granddaughter and those adorable gr. grandbabies. Your granddaughter sounds like a hard working mama. I’m sure she gets it’s from her grandma. 🙂 If all goes well I’ll be seeing my kiddos and grandkids back east this fall. It’s difficult to coordinate sometimes with grown kids schedules and grandkids schedules and however the school year will be. I’ve got my fingers crossed tho. Happy Weekend, Sandee. Love you bunches! <3
