Thankful Thursday

It’s Thankful Thursday hosted by Brian of Brian’s Home. He wants us to post what we’re thankful for.

I think it’s a good thing to do each week. Focus on the positive things in our lives.

Make sure you link up to the Blog Hop at Brian’s Home and get the code to put on your blog. Then visit all the participants.

In our quest to clean, de-clutter and upgrade hubby and I had Coit clean our carpets, tile and grout and take care of all the granite in our master bath. They also did our great room upholstery. Talk about a wonderful difference. Everything looks brand new.

I’m thankful that we are planning our boating adventures for this new year. We don’t know how much we’ll get to do, but we’re happy to slip sail if need be. We know how to have a good time in the slip or out.

I’m thankful that in a few weeks we’ll get a taste of spring. It always makes my heart happy to see the blossoms on the fruit trees.

What are you thankful for today?

Nice to have your home upgraded for the new year. Wonderful to know that you are planning and looking forward to your boat adventure and that spring is approaching soon.

We had our carpets cleaned in November, it is always so nice to have them looking good again. Hope you get to do real sailing this year, but from what we hear, CA is not allowing much to happen right now. Maybe it will improve.

I love the look and feel of newly cleaned things in the home.. i even love the way my kitchen looks after a fresh mopping. or the way grass looks freshly mowed. finding it hard to find things to be thankful for, even though we have many that i should be thankful for..

We hope we do too, but if we have to slip sail then we will. Nothing is going to stop us from going. Thanks for hosting the Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. 🙂

Dad has been toying with having a cleaning service come in and hit the place hard. Hmmm you may have tilted the scale. Great Thankful and we hope you do get where you like. The water is wonderful

How great to have someone come in and fluff and buff your lovely home! You and Zane are so great at keeping everything perfect! Have a great day and we sure hope you will be out on the water soon! HUGS!

I so need to clean the grout and so don’t want to. How wonderful to have your adventures planned. It’s a requirement these days and something wonderful to look forward to.

Our home is pretty sparkling indeed and today we moved all the furniture in from the garage. It’s nice to have things back where they belong. 🙂

Planning sailing adventures sounds wonderful! And, starting with a sparkling clean house is a great way to begin the new year. Hope all is well with you! xoxo

I’m thankful for that too, Tony. Most scary. I watched the video. You’ll be sore for a few days and your bike needs a lot of work to replace all those horrible scraps. You’re a lucky guy, Tony. 🙂

Gosh! I wish I could get Coit (or someone else) to come out to the middle of nowhere! I won’t go into the details, but I had not lived here in Midway for almost 5 years and I don’t think my husband cleaned or vacuumed once…its been tough to go through the accumulated debris. I think I shall have to rip out the carpeting and lay new flooring. I am thankful for you and your hops! They have helped me through this! You are a jewel!
    Have a marvellously Happy Day!

It is nice that you have some things to which you can look forward. Your spring comes so much earlier than ours. Sailing sounds so nice. I am so tired of being housebound except for doctors’ appointments. Love and warm hugs, Janet

It never fails, right after the hubbub of the holidays, I too begin the annual process of culling and cleaning. It totally feels good. And this year I plan to be ruthless about the culling part. Tired of housing excess ‘stuff.’

We had nothing much else to do last year so we focused on doing something constructive. It’s been a wonderful journey. Smooches to Luke. 🙂

I learned to save money the hard way.
Everyone should see Paris at least once in their lives.
Lately, I’ve been thinking a lot about survival.
I’ll never be too old to cook.
