It’s Thankful Thursday hosted by Brian of Brian’s Home. He wants us to post what we’re thankful for.
I think it’s a good thing to do each week. Focus on the positive things in our lives.
Make sure you link up to the Blog Hop at Brian’s Home and get the code to put on your blog. Then visit all the participants.
I’m thankful for the text message I got from our hair salon yesterday. They let hubby and I know that we can get our haircuts next Thursday. We have standing appointments the first Thursday of each month. We’ve missed two appointments so you can imagine how shaggy we are. I’m doing a happy dance.
I’m thankful that we’re going to visit our granddaughter and our great grands next month. Mom has given her permission and we have excepted the invitation after all these months.
I’m thankful that we can go to the boat again. Not everything is open, but we can go and enjoy what we love. In mid June our favorite restaurant on the water will open. We’ll be there to support them.
I’m thankful that hubby and I didn’t get sick though this pandemic. We followed the rules and will continue to do so.
What are you thankful for today?

Take care and stay safe, sandy. xo
We’re going up on Saturday to get some things done. We’re by ourselves though so we’re not breaking any rules. 🙂
I’m sure you aren’t. So happy for you Sandee. Have a blast. 🙂
Those are wonderful things to be thankful for. You are going to be on cloud nine getting to do all those things again. Enjoy 🙂
I know you’re right, Ann. I’m so ready. I did take my shellac off my nails today. It looked awful. 🙂
We are so happy for you, Sandee! I am thankful to be healthy and happy here at home with Molly.
Being healthy is the very best of all things. 🙂
Sounds like things are looking up for you and hubby. It will be wonderful for you to see the kids again, and to get back on your boat. We are starting up dog sports classes again and are hoping for some trials in the near future.
They are indeed. Can’t wait to see our grand and great grands. 🙂
There are so many things to be thankful. Simple things like getting a hair cut, visiting family members and getting to do the things we love. Thankful that we are all well and safe. Have a beautiful time with your love ones.
All the simple things are the very best things. 🙂
So glad you and Zane didn’t get sick. It is all so scary. We are thankful for our friends, Sandee and Zane.
We are happy about that too. We did follow the rules. Love you, Marg. 🙂
For someone who’s had very short hair for years, having inches of hair is beyond weird! I didn’t even have a comb; The Hubby had to dig one out from his junk drawer for me.
Yes it is and I’ve got way to much hair. 🙂
Follow the rules? Nah. We didn’t tet it either. I’d look silly in a mask.
I’ll wear it if it’s required, but I have breathing issues wearing them. 🙂
I am jealous of the haircut! I need one.
Have a great one 🙂
I was surprised that we could resume or haircuts so soon. I’m happy about it though. 🙂
so glad you are going for a visit to family and YAY for the haircut…
I’m happy about all of these things for sure. 🙂
Those really are totally purrfect thankfuls!!!!! Thanks for joining our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!
I thought so too. Especially the haircut. I’m miserable with my hair. Happy Thursday. 🙂
Wonderful… How blessed we all are, Sandee! Our family is well and we are thankful we can visit one another on FaceTime. 🙂 xo
Yes indeed, Bette. We are blessed. 🙂
What a great meeting 🙂
Yes indeed. Happy Thursday. 🙂
.The openings are exciting, my friend. Enjoy your hair-cuts, the boat and most of all your granddaughter and great grands. Blessings! 🤗((Hugs))
I can hardly wait for all of these things to happen. Hugs back. 🙂
I share you happy in your upcoming hair cut. Our friends have been Facetiming with there little granddaughter every night since shut down. yesterday the saw her in the flesh for the first time.
Hugs cecilia
It’s time to ease all these restrictions. Carefully of course. Hugs back. 🙂
I am thankful that I got to hug and kiss my granddaughter for the first time since March this past weekend……..we brought masks, stayed in the back yard and there was only 4 of us (5 including her)………we kept our distance but I HAD to hug and kiss her, how could I not? (I didn’t do it a lot!) xoxo
I hear you. It’s been months and months. It’s time. 🙂
I wish I could feel positive about restrictions being lifted, but I just don’t. I’m still so worried about the rates of infection that I don’t think enough has been done (UK or US, given the numbers). That said, hopefully things like your salon will have had the time to put precautions in place so things will be much safer moving forward. Bet you can’t wait to get a trim, see family & hop on the boat again!! xx
They have precautions in place. We know what to do to get our hair cuts. Most of the things we’re going to do will still have social distancing. 🙂
I am thankful for so much, but life itself is a plenty. Have a great Thursday.
I agree with you. You have a great Thursday too. 🙂
I am thankful we didn’t get sick through all of this. Enjoy your haircut and boat outing. Happy Thursday.
We’ll do both and getting together with some friends in mid June. Ready for that too. 🙂
Thank you for your sweet words. I didn’t write a thankful post, but I am thankful for the pets who have come into our lives with their unconditional love.
Big hugs honey. Love you, Marti. 🙂
How nice you are able to do some of your favorite things, enjoy!
We’re ready too. We’ll be careful but it’s time to get out and about. 🙂
Well for one thing we are thankful that you and all our friends and neighbors and family members are all well, healthy and happy. No one is complaining about being shut up….better to be shut up in your own home than in hospital! Cheers to you and Zane and so gladyou willbe out on the water again! xoxox
We’ve had a total of 28 deaths in our county and most are from old folks homes. 🙂
We are also thankful things in California are starting to open again!
We are too. I live in California. 🙂
I’m thankful for many of the ones that you’re thankful for and I’m thankful that you did it! I don’t know what I’d do without you my sista from another mother! I’m trying to make my new blog, but my mind keeps wandering and I can’t get a thing done. Think I’ll step away for a while. So happy for you that you’ll get to see your kids and grands. Woo Hoo What a party that’s goin’ to be, right? hahaha And you’re gonna get to hang out on your boat! WOW! What kind of boat do you have? Can you send me a picture of it? You sure do have the life sweetie and you deserve nothing less that’s for sure! Okay, need to go to the store and buy me one of those sports bras. Seems like that’s all I can wear lately. It’s still muggy out so to the store and back and staying home where it’s a bit cooler than outside that’s for sure. Did you like my pictures yesterday? I had a picture of a sunset out in front of my house and a picture of my tomato garden too we just started. Very cool. Have a great day, stay healthy, and stay safe! Who luvs ya baby?!!! MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE Have a great day! HUGSSSSSSSS
I’ll send you a link to our boat. It’s a nice little boat and we love it. Love you sweetie. 🙂
COOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!
Oh, lucky you two, getting hair cuts!! I am SO ready for one, but I think my hubby needs it more than I do! LOL. Lucky for us Luke doesn’t need any of that. 🙂
So glad to hear you’re able to start getting out a bit more too!
Hubby and I are both looking about the same. Hubby says his hair has never been this long. 🙂
I’m thankful that The Female Human ordered us a cat stroller so that we can roll through our neighborhood and enjoy all the the smells and sounds safely this simmer!
Purrs & Head Bonks,
Alberto
Oh how fun. Your peeps are awesome. 🙂
All sound like some great reasons to be thankful!!! Haircuts, family visits, boating, and no sickies – great big smiles for you!!!

I’m so happy that you can go on your boat and visit your relatives. I’m also happy that during this serious time God has ot allowed us to be sick. ( I hope that continues ) See ya Sandee.

We’re been well here too. 🙂
Wonderful thank you list. I am glad you will get to see your family and go out on your boat. And get a haircut 🙂 XO
We’re looking forward to it also. It’s been a very long time. 🙂
Oh, i am so happy for all of your good news!
It’s about time for all of us. 🙂
We are thankful that next week everyone gets groomed.
It’s a wonderful thing indeed. Have a great day and weekend, Marsha. 🙂
Woohoo, haircuts and grandbabies?! Yes, two things for which to be thankful. 😍
Yes and yes, my friend. 🙂
Good that you stayed safe and are able to get back to some normalcy. We’ve been following the rules here and haven’t had a new case in over a week. Actually, there is only one active case in all of New Zealand at this point.
Same here. No new deaths in over a week too. We’ve had a total of 28 deaths in our county. I think the numbers for the regular flu is higher than that. 🙂
What a wonderful thankful list! Soooo happy that you are going to visit those adorable gr. grands of yours. I bet they’ve grown SO much! I’m thankful that you and your luv have remained healthy thru this craziness, and of course, thankful that you can get back to the boat. 🙂 – I agree. It is time to open things up. I’m ready!
We are most thankful for all those things too. It’s way past time to open things back up. 🙂
