It’s Thankful Thursday hosted by Brian of Brian’s Home. He wants us to post what we’re thankful for.
I think it’s a good thing to do each week. Focus on the positive things in our lives.
Make sure you link up to the Blog Hop at Brian’s Home and get the code to put on your blog. Then visit all the participants.
I’m thankful for all the people I have loved in my lifetime. Many are gone, but they left a piece of themselves in my heart. I think of many of these people often.
I’m thankful for all the pets I’ve had over the years. I can remember special cats and dogs in my youth. The pain of losing them when you’re young and not able to really understand death.
I’m thankful for our precious Little Bit that we had the pleasure of having as a family member for almost 13 years. She was the very best canine ever.
What are you thankful for today?

I am thankful that my family and friends are healthy. I am thankful that our Luci is still with us and is not in pain at the moment. I am thankful for the resources we have to hold our family together even thru layoffs and temporary closures. And as always, I’m thankful for you, Sandee. <3
I hope we get through this issue soon. It appears there are some cures for this. I hope that’s true. Love you, Karen. 🙂
Hayatımda olan herkes için Allah’a çok şükür.
Kötülük yapan hiç kimseyle tanışmamış olmana sevindim.
I’m glad you didn’t meet anyone who did evil. I think that’s what you said. I didn’t. 🙂
Right now I’m thankful that I work somewhere that isn’t being shut down. I don’t know how people are going to manage without a paycheck.
I don’t know either and many have lost their jobs already. Stay well, Ann. 🙂
We are thankful for the pets and peeps that have been in our lives too.
Yes indeed, Miss Molly. You’re such a smart pup. 🙂
I am also thankful for everyone who have played a part in my life, whether past or present. Thankful that God provided for our need. Stay safe, dear.
You’re a good blogging buddy, Nancy. I’m thankful for you. 🙂
Mom is thankful for all the pets she has had over the years, and in this time of turmoil, she is so thankful to have us at her side to keep her going and cheer her up when things seem so bad.
Yes indeed. Our babies bring such comfort. 🙂
The Mom is so thankful for all the kitties that live here. They keep her smiling. And for all our blogging friends. It is so great to have so many friends. We hope all of you have a fantastic day.
They keep me smiling as you do, Marg. You have a fabulous day too. 🙂
Since I didn’t have pets as a child, having them now is extra wonderful!
We had pets as a child and many in my adult life. They are most precious. 🙂
Those were special thankful and we’re thankful for our pals each and every day. Thanks for joining the Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!
Thank you for hosting such a wonderful blog hop. It’s good to stop and be thankful for so many wonderful things. 🙂
It is good to be thankful, especially in times like these. Wonderful list. Have a nice day! XO
Yes more now than ever. You have a nice and safe day too. 🙂
Your post made me laugh and cry at the same time. Love (whether for pets or humans) always stays with us and even death can’t destroy it.
Have a great Thankful Thursday!
That’s so true, Viola. You have a great Thankful Thursday. 🙂
Thankful for great friends checking on me with this virus and since Dakota.
That’s because you’re loved, Pam. 🙂
Peeps and pets touch our l iives in so many ways, it is good to remember that and cherish them. Wonderful post today!
Yes it is, my friend. 🙂
I am thankful I have a spouse to ride out the social distance thing, that we have Big Boy as a therapy dog, that we have food and shelter during this crisis. also like you thankful for all 4 of our angel pets and the sweet memories we have of them. last but certainly not least, I am thankful for my blogging E-friends that fill my life each day
What wonderful thankful Sandra. Our babies do bring us such joy. Have a great day. 🙂
I am thankful that hubby and I are healthy and have a safe place to live. Also, thankful we are retired and don’t have to be concerned about going to a job or going without a job. Happy Thursday!
I hear you on the retirement part. We are happy about that too. Happy Thursday. 🙂
😉
I am thankful for having such a loving family to grow up in. No one had to knock when we visited and everyone was excited when someone just popped in, even if we were just going to sit around and do nothing in particular but be together. Have a wonderful day!
You had a wonderful family and now you’re showing your kids the same wonderful family. 🙂
What beautiful thankful things.
Hugs Cecilia
Thanks, my friend. Hugs back. 🙂
Little Bit, that was her name? So sweet ♥ Lots of things to be thankful for. Today, I’m thankful my family is safe and well and that we have enough supplies for today.
Stay well, Sandee xx
Yes that was her name. Most everyone just called her Big and she would answer to that. You stay well. 🙂
We are thankful for a rare sunny day and sun puddles all over the house.
Purrs & Head Bonks,
Alberto & the Tribe
I’m thankful for some sun puddles today too. It’s been raining here for days and days. 🙂
Those are some wonderful reasons to be thankful. We all have plenty of time now to reflect on the many good things in our life as we live with all the bad stuff now.
Woos, Lightning and Timber
We do still have to look at all the good. We need to take care of ourselves and others too. 🙂
Thankful for family, friends and for another day to enjoy them virtually for now… Thankful for life!
Yes a lot of virtual right now. It’s safer. 🙂
HEY WHAT’S GOIN ON? I tried leaving a comment and it didn’t save it! 🙁 Okay let’s see what did I say. I’m thankful for friends like you and so thankful I met you. You’re a good person Charlie Brown as they say… hehehehe~ I’m also thankful for my good children. My youngest daughter is sending me things that we’re out of around here and my oldest daughter is coming over tomorrow with a few things to keep us tied over. They’re good girls for sure. My son calls me every day. I’ve been blessed for sure. Anyway let’s see if this works this time. Love ya Lots girlfriend. Be safe, stay healthy and be careful. HUGS!!!
I’m glad your kids are helping out. Good for them. Love you bunches and you be safe and stay healthy too. Big hugs back. 🙂
Oh my we have so much to be thankful for- our home, our Lucy, our neighbors and friends; we are blessed to be here.
We are two very thankful people. Good for us. 🙂
Hey, Sandee. Thank you so much for stopping by and commenting, it means a lot especially since I suck these days.
Not much I loved more than a blender full of strawberry margaritas but have to content myself with making them these days.
I’m thankful for being able to get this tub of aging cheddar onto a bike and ride around a bit this week. I haven’t done that in over a year and although stopping was rough, I didn’t fall, so hooray for the big little things.
Yes the little things. We are fine here and staying in as much as possible. Be well. 🙂
We are always thankful for love.
Yes indeed. It’s a precious gift and some never find. 🙂
They are wonderful, those pets of ours. Thank you for being patient when i can’t always read and respond to my friend’s blogs as fast as i want.
We all have our own speed. I know you work hard. I appreciate your participation, my friend. 🙂
What wonderful things…beings to be thankful for, Sandee. We’re Thankful for you and your beautiful spirit💗Pawkisses for a Happy Healthy Weekend🐾😽💞
Thank you so much. I try to be kind and have removed myself from people that are not healthy to be around. It has improved my life so very much. Pawkisses back, Little Binky and my best to your granny. 🙂
I am thankful for the 4 pack of toilet paper I was able to pick up at the store yesterday! Seriously, I wanted to cry with happiness 🙂
It’s amazing isn’t it. Hubby scored a 30 pack at Costco yesterday. The last one of the day. We were both thrilled. Stay well, my friend. 🙂
Thankful for good health at this moment! And for hubby. We are hunkering down at home, wishing this pandemic will be over before we go broke.
We are hunkering down too. It’s all we can do. 🙂
Catching up on much needed posts from bloggy friends. Focusing on what is going well instead of all the doom and gloom will be essential to keeping everyone sane! After a lot of preparation, we’re also semi-isolating ourselves to limit exposure. Hopefully I’ll be able to get back to blogging! Take care and be well. xoxox
That’s what we’re doing. Hubby is out in the garage doing what he loves and there are beef ribs in the oven for dinner. We’re well and together. Life is good. Big hug, honey. 🙂
These are wonderful things to be thankful for! I’m thankful for my grandparents who taught me so much when I was growing up. I would give anything to spend another day with them, but I know I’ll get to spend all of eternity with them!
I miss many of my family members too. Someday I’ll be with them in heaven too. 🙂
I’m thankful for two stray cats that wandered into our yard when I was a teenager. My Dad didn’t really want any pets, but my Mom talked him into letting us keep them. We never had dogs, so I’m also thankful for my hubby who talked me into getting our first one after we bought our first home! I was hooked on dogs from them on (and still love cats too). ♥
I love both pups and cats. They are both unique and love us in their own way. Smooches to Luke. 🙂
So much to be grateful for. We had success at the store and found most of the tings we needed. The things we didn’t find were more wants than have to haves. People were kind for the most part and there was little strife. The store clerks were amazingly calm, polite, and helpful. I’m glad we are well UP to this point (other than the usually maladies that haunt my aging frame.) and in reality. All is well.
We’ve done okay too. We don’t need to go to the store this coming week. We’re happy about that. All is well here too. 🙂
