Thankful Thursday

It’s Thankful Thursday hosted by Brian of Brian’s Home. He wants us to post what we’re thankful for.

I think it’s a good thing to do each week. Focus on the positive things in our lives.

Make sure you link up to the Blog Hop at Brian’s Home and get the code to put on your blog. Then visit all the participants.

I’m thankful for all the people I have loved in my lifetime. Many are gone, but they left a piece of themselves in my heart. I think of many of these people often.

I’m thankful for all the pets I’ve had over the years. I can remember special cats and dogs in my youth. The pain of losing them when you’re young and not able to really understand death.

I’m thankful for our precious Little Bit that we had the pleasure of having as a family member for almost 13 years. She was the very best canine ever.

I am thankful that my family and friends are healthy. I am thankful that our Luci is still with us and is not in pain at the moment. I am thankful for the resources we have to hold our family together even thru layoffs and temporary closures. And as always, I’m thankful for you, Sandee. <3

Right now I’m thankful that I work somewhere that isn’t being shut down. I don’t know how people are going to manage without a paycheck.

  3. My GBGV Life says:

Mom is thankful for all the pets she has had over the years, and in this time of turmoil, she is so thankful to have us at her side to keep her going and cheer her up when things seem so bad.

The Mom is so thankful for all the kitties that live here. They keep her smiling. And for all our blogging friends. It is so great to have so many friends. We hope all of you have a fantastic day.

Your post made me laugh and cry at the same time. Love (whether for pets or humans) always stays with us and even death can’t destroy it.
    Have a great Thankful Thursday!

I am thankful that hubby and I are healthy and have a safe place to live. Also, thankful we are retired and don’t have to be concerned about going to a job or going without a job. Happy Thursday!

I am thankful for having such a loving family to grow up in. No one had to knock when we visited and everyone was excited when someone just popped in, even if we were just going to sit around and do nothing in particular but be together. Have a wonderful day!

Little Bit, that was her name? So sweet  ♥ Lots of things to be thankful for. Today, I’m thankful my family is safe and well and that we have enough supplies for today.
    Stay well, Sandee xx

Those are some wonderful reasons to be thankful. We all have plenty of time now to reflect on the many good things in our life as we live with all the bad stuff now.

HEY WHAT’S GOIN ON? I tried leaving a comment and it didn’t save it! 🙁 Okay let’s see what did I say. I’m thankful for friends like you and so thankful I met you. You’re a good person Charlie Brown as they say… hehehehe~ I’m also thankful for my good children. My youngest daughter is sending me things that we’re out of around here and my oldest daughter is coming over tomorrow with a few things to keep us tied over. They’re good girls for sure. My son calls me every day. I’ve been blessed for sure. Anyway let’s see if this works this time. Love ya Lots girlfriend. Be safe, stay healthy and be careful. HUGS!!!

Hey, Sandee. Thank you so much for stopping by and commenting, it means a lot especially since I suck these days.
Not much I loved more than a blender full of strawberry margaritas but have to content myself with making them these days.
I’m thankful for being able to get this tub of aging cheddar onto a bike and ride around a bit this week. I haven’t done that in over a year and although stopping was rough, I didn’t fall, so hooray for the big little things.

    • Sandee says:

Thank you so much. I try to be kind and have removed myself from people that are not healthy to be around. It has improved my life so very much. Pawkisses back, Little Binky and my best to your granny. 🙂

  13. Jen says:

I am thankful for the 4 pack of toilet paper I was able to pick up at the store yesterday! Seriously, I wanted to cry with happiness 🙂

    • Sandee says:

It’s amazing isn’t it. Hubby scored a 30 pack at Costco yesterday. The last one of the day. We were both thrilled. Stay well, my friend. 🙂

Catching up on much needed posts from bloggy friends. Focusing on what is going well instead of all the doom and gloom will be essential to keeping everyone sane! After a lot of preparation, we’re also semi-isolating ourselves to limit exposure. Hopefully I’ll be able to get back to blogging! Take care and be well. xoxox

    • Sandee says:

That’s what we’re doing. Hubby is out in the garage doing what he loves and there are beef ribs in the oven for dinner. We’re well and together. Life is good. Big hug, honey. 🙂

  15. Michelle says:

These are wonderful things to be thankful for! I’m thankful for my grandparents who taught me so much when I was growing up. I would give anything to spend another day with them, but I know I’ll get to spend all of eternity with them!

  16. Jan K says:

I’m thankful for two stray cats that wandered into our yard when I was a teenager. My Dad didn’t really want any pets, but my Mom talked him into letting us keep them. We never had dogs, so I’m also thankful for my hubby who talked me into getting our first one after we bought our first home! I was hooked on dogs from them on (and still love cats too). ♥

  17. UP says:

So much to be grateful for. We had success at the store and found most of the tings we needed. The things we didn’t find were more wants than have to haves. People were kind for the most part and there was little strife. The store clerks were amazingly calm, polite, and helpful. I’m glad we are well UP to this point (other than the usually maladies that haunt my aging frame.) and in reality. All is well.
