It’s Thankful Thursday hosted by Brian of Brian’s Home. He wants us to post what we’re thankful for.
I think it’s a good thing to do each week. Focus on the positive things in our lives.
Make sure you link up to the Blog Hop at Brian’s Home and get the code to put on your blog. Then visit all the participants.
I’m thankful when I wake up each morning. I’ve a blank canvas to have the best day I can. It’s all up to me.
I’m thankful for my eyesight. Being able to see all the beautiful things around me is a blessing.
I’m thankful I can hear. Hearing the birds sing, a kitten meow, or a pup bark is wonderful. To hear my husband tell me he loves me is the most precious thing I can hear.

Yes good heath is such a precious thing to have. Poor health can change ones life quickly. 🙂
That’s a great way to look at each new day. A blank slate to fill however you choose.Since it’s snowing here today, I’m thankful for warm clothes, hats and gloves.
Yes being warm is a very good thing. It’s pretty warm here today. We are really getting spring right now. 🙂
I am thankful for the very same things that you are.
I’m thankful for you, Miss Molly. 🙂
We are thankful for our health, and a good home that gives us everything we need.
Those are wonderful things indeed. 🙂
I’m thankful for this post to be thankful for simple things.
Yes, it’s the simple things that make life so sweet. 🙂
Wonderful thankfuls. I am thankful for all those things too.. I love listening to my Sammy purr me to sleep at night. Have a great day! XO
That’s a wonderful thing. I so remember. 🙂
Those are some powerful things for which we to be thankful, and all of us who are as blessed as you are should never take it for granted. Love and hugs, Janet p.s.Your two boys are on our blog today!
Taking things and people for granted is not a good thing. Love and hugs back. Scritches to all the kitties. 🙂

Thank you for hosting such a wonderful blog hop. I enjoy focusing on the good things in our lives. 🙂
I’m thankful when I wake up each morning too and from now on I will always think of the new day as a blank canvas! Thank you for that, Sandee. 🙂 – Have a great Thursday and know you are loved. <3
I’m happy I could help, Karen. And know that you are loved too. 🙂
I love that comment about the morning having a ” blank canvas “. It does make a great deal Sandee especially since this morning is so white, about 6 inches of snow. I thank my wife so much, she’s outside shovelling the snow and she loves it. I’m thankful to see the sun, yes its sunny outside, so beautiful with the snow outside and I’m thankful for God allowing me to see all of this this morning. Have a wonderful day Sandee.
Cruisin Paul
I don’t remember who told me this many years ago, but I never forgot it. You have a wonderful day too, Paul. 🙂
“So if you’re worried and you can’t sleep
Count your blessings instead of sheep
And you’ll fall asleep counting your blessings”
from White Christmas, sung by Rosemary Clooney and Bing Crosby
Spot on too. 🙂
I’m thankful I’m still breathing. I’m also thankful our new house project is finally off the ground.
I can’t wait to see the end result. Good for you. 🙂
I love these! Happy sounds and sights make for a beautiful life.
It sure does, Jen. Happy Thursday. 🙂
Haha – I am thankful that I am having another birthday today – 67!
I sang happy birthday to you on Facebook. I hope you got it. 🙂
You know we take things like good eyesight and hearing for granted, Sandee. We should be grateful for these things because they maintain the quality of our lives.
Yes they do, Eugenia. Taking things for granted isn’t a good thing. 🙂
We have so many things to be thankful for, you’ve hit on some of the most important!
Yes we do and many never stop to be thankful for those things that are all around him. 🙂
Sandee what wonderful things to be thankful for today…they seem so ordinary BUT w/o them our lives would be drastically altered.
Hugs Cecilia
It usually is the small things that are the most important. 🙂
You have a wonderful attitude. ~hugs~ Have a lovely day!
Your comment on my latest post made me address our friend’s propensity for kindness. Thank you for causing me to consider things he’s done for us over the decades. In fact, he once drove me home after coworkers abandoned me at the honky tonk bar he frequented back in those days. 🙂 Hugs, my dear.
That makes the difference right there. I didn’t know this. Now I do. He’s paid in full. 🙂
Thank you Darla. I try to look on the bright side of things. Big hug. 🙂
Sandee, that’s the best possible way to begin a new day!
Have a wonderful Thankful Thursday!
It is indeed. It works for me, Viola. 🙂

Beautiful thankfuls this week!
Thank you my friend. 🙂
We’re thankful that Angel Tucker’s sister, Jasmine, had such a good report from the vet and that Lily is getting her appetite back (this is never a problem, for Oliver!)
Purrs & Head Bonks,
Alberto
A good report from the vet is always a welcomed thing. Purrs and Head Bonks back. 🙂
Perfect words Sandee…..I am thankful too for my eye sight and hearing…so many things to be thankful for: friends, family,
good health and living in the USA. I am also thankful for my sense of humor…..when the going gets tough I usually can find
some humor while fixing what’s wrong. Cheers!
Wonderful thankful things, Kathe. Happy Thursday. 🙂
Thankful for another day in which to bask in the love of God and his wondrous creation!
Yes indeed, Bette. 🙂
I sm always thankful just to wake up. I am thankful for all myblogging buddies and all my cats. Sandee, you and Zane have a perfect day.
Me too, Marg. Life is precious. You have a perfect day too, my friend. 🙂
Those are wonderful things to be thankful for and we feel the same. I am particularly thankful that tomorrow is Dakota’s 13th birthday…..it’s been a rough year for him health-wise and we are grateful for each and every day we have with him.
Our Little Bit didn’t make it to her 13th. We miss her so. 🙂
Those are beautiful! Thanks for reminding me to wake up in the morning with a good attitude, and focus on what great things each day might bring! ♥
It’s often just that easy. We can be happy or not. I like the happy part. 🙂
Sandee,
I’m thankful for all these things, too. There are so many people who do not have these blessings in their lives.
That is so very true, Cathy. We are most fortunate. 🙂
I am thankful for my happy home
I am too. A happy home is the very best of all. 🙂
All my sibings have hearing problems. I don’t and I’m so thankful. Can’t see across the room, so I guess that makes UP for it.
I need glasses too and my hearing isn’t as good as it once was. 🙂
Hi Sandee, I can’t imagine a world where I can’t hear the birds sing or watch the sunrise. I’m also thankful that I’m a morning person as it’s the best time of day.
xx
I can’t imagine it either. I hope it never happens. I’m a morning person. 🙂
Yes, I’m definitely thankful to be able to see (with glasses) and hear, as well as remaining lucid and mobile. That may not be the case in later years. Kind of a frightening thought! One day at a time. 🙂
It is a frightening thought so we need to enjoy today. I know you do. 🙂
