Thankful Thursday

It’s Thankful Thursday hosted by Brian of Brian’s Home. He wants us to post what we’re thankful for.

I think it’s a good thing to do each week. Focus on the positive things in our lives.

Make sure you link up to the Blog Hop at Brian’s Home and get the code to put on your blog. Then visit all the participants.

I’m thankful when I wake up each morning. I’ve a blank canvas to have the best day I can. It’s all up to me.

I’m thankful for my eyesight. Being able to see all the beautiful things around me is a blessing.

I’m thankful I can hear. Hearing the birds sing, a kitten meow, or a pup bark is wonderful. To hear my husband tell me he loves me is the most precious thing I can hear.

What are you thankful for today?

That’s a great way to look at each new day. A blank slate to fill however you choose.Since it’s snowing here today, I’m thankful for warm clothes, hats and gloves.

Those are some powerful things for which we to be thankful, and all of us who are as blessed as you are should never take it for granted. Love and hugs, Janet p.s.Your two boys are on our blog today!

I love that comment about the morning having a ” blank canvas “. It does make a great deal Sandee especially since this morning is so white, about 6 inches of snow. I thank my wife so much, she’s outside shovelling the snow and she loves it. I’m thankful to see the sun, yes its sunny outside, so beautiful with the snow outside and I’m thankful for God allowing me to see all of this this morning. Have a wonderful day Sandee.

You know we take things like good eyesight and hearing for granted, Sandee. We should be grateful for these things because they maintain the quality of our lives.

Your comment on my latest post made me address our friend’s propensity for kindness. Thank you for causing me to consider things he’s done for us over the decades. In fact, he once drove me home after coworkers abandoned me at the honky tonk bar he frequented back in those days. 🙂 Hugs, my dear.

We’re thankful that Angel Tucker’s sister, Jasmine, had such a good report from the vet and that Lily is getting her appetite back (this is never a problem, for Oliver!)

Perfect words Sandee…..I am thankful too for my eye sight and hearing…so many things to be thankful for: friends, family,
good health and living in the USA. I am also thankful for my sense of humor…..when the going gets tough I usually can find
some humor while fixing what’s wrong. Cheers!

Those are wonderful things to be thankful for and we feel the same. I am particularly thankful that tomorrow is Dakota’s 13th birthday…..it’s been a rough year for him health-wise and we are grateful for each and every day we have with him.

Those are beautiful! Thanks for reminding me to wake up in the morning with a good attitude, and focus on what great things each day might bring! ♥

  10. UP says:

All my sibings have hearing problems. I don’t and I’m so thankful. Can’t see across the room, so I guess that makes UP for it.

  11. ChirpyDebs says:

Hi Sandee, I can’t imagine a world where I can’t hear the birds sing or watch the sunrise. I’m also thankful that I’m a morning person as it’s the best time of day.

    xx

Yes, I’m definitely thankful to be able to see (with glasses) and hear, as well as remaining lucid and mobile. That may not be the case in later years. Kind of a frightening thought! One day at a time. 🙂
