It’s Thankful Thursday hosted by Brian of Brian’s Home. He wants us to post what we’re thankful for.
I think it’s a good thing to do each week. Focus on the positive things in our lives.
Make sure you link up to the Blog Hop at Brian’s Home and get the code to put on your blog. Then visit all the participants.
I’m thankful for the hints of spring. I start to really get a spring in my step when the hints of spring shows up.
I’m thankful for my husband. I told him I wanted to replace my Claude Monet prints with hand painted ones. He said yes. I ordered my first one with a Piccadilly Classic Gold frame. This one will go in our dining room.
I’m thankful for all my blogging buddies and all their wonderful pups, kitties, horses, donkeys, and birds. You all bring me so much joy.
On a sad note a blogging buddy, Jan Williams, of The Poodle (and dog) blog, was killed when a drunk driver crashed into her home. Also seriously injured was her son and daughter in law. We bond with so many bloggers over the years. Love each other and cherish the time we have together.

I’m so sorry to hear about your blog friend. She’s not one that I know. Prayers for her family.
That’s a beautiful painting.
Today I am thankful for my neighbor who I heard outside snowblowing the end of my driveway.
What a wonderful thing your neighbor did for you. 🙂
Happy thankful Thursday <3
Happy Thankful Thursday to you too, Kinga. 🙂
Our hearts are so sad for Jan’s family and friends. Your painting is just beautiful, Sandy!
Mine too, Miss Molly. She was a great friend for many years. 🙂
Oh my goodness, that’s awful about Jan. I really hope her son and daughter in law make it through and recover fully but that’s just so, so sad. A tragic loss of life for the sake of alcohol.xx
They are healing nicely. Yes it’s sad about Jan. A lovely fiend she was. 🙂
Thank you for being so wonderful and hosting so many fun hops each week so we bloggers can get to know each other better. That is just beyond words awful with Jan. To be killed in your own home by a car, and a drunk driver – there is no excuse, and there are no words. Such a tragedy.
Hops really do work if folks will go visit those that participate. I’ve met so many wonderful people doing blog hops. Like you. 🙂
Blessings to you and your friend Sandee! HAPPY VALENTINES DAY my friend! xoxoxo
Happy Valentines Day to you too, Angel. Love you bunches. 🙂
I hope u got my love Sandee! xoxoxoxo
I did honey. WordPress is slow with comments sometimes. 🙂
So sad about Jan Williams. What a terrible thing. We love that painting. It is just terrific. You and Zane have a most wonderful day.
It sure was, Marg. She was so kind and she loved animals as you do. 🙂
I am going to cherish this moment as it is truly all we have.
Amen to that, Sandie. You’re right about that. 🙂
Such nice thankfuls and that painting really is very pretty. We were sad to hear about Jan, sad indeed. Thanks for joining the Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!
Thank you for hosting the Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. It’s a great exercise to do every day not just on Thursday. 🙂
Your painting is beautiful! How terribly sad about your blogging friend, Sandee. Sending prayers to her family. Such a senseless tragedy.
Thank you, Linda. She was a most special lady. 🙂
I’m thankful for a wonderful cruise with MaryLou & my friends. It was amazing.
I’m so shocked about Jan. She was new to my blog and she was excited to find out about my cruise. This really shocks me. RIP my new friend Jan.
Cruisin Paul
She will be so missed. I’ve have visited her for years. She was such a delight. 🙂
Oh my gawd…I cannot believe the news about our blogging friend, Jan. She will be sorely missed and we send oodles of poodles of loving thoughts and prayers of comfort to her family and all those who were touched by her. 💔
Yes she will. Her son and daughter in law are healing up well though. She was such a special lady. 🙂
Just glad to be healthy. Looking forward to Spring as well. This Winter has been a dud, wet and boring, none of the fun Winter stuff.
Sorry your winter has been so bland. I hope you have a great spring. 🙂
I love impressionist art, and attended a Monet exhibit at the National Gallery in London in 2018. There is a Van Gogh exhibit coming to the Detroit Institute of Arts this summer; you can bet hard cash that I’ll be there!
I’d love to go with you. 🙂
Your painting is beautiful, Sandee! How sad about Jan. We can’t be safe even in our own home. How unfortunate.
I love all things Monet. I’ve been a fan of his the first time I laid an eye on one of his paintings. 🙂
😉
That’s terrible news about Jan. She and I never crossed (virtual) paths, but her family will be in my prayers.
Best wishes to you and your husband. I cherish our interactions. ~hugs~ Take care.
Thank you, Darla. She was just the sweetest and love animals so very much. I cherish our interactions too, Darla. 🙂
What a beautiful painting….lots of pops of red…my happy color.
I was so sorry to read about Jan. I didn’t know her; however, after reading the post I know how very special she was.
Hugs Cecilia
She was very special. I will miss her terribly. 🙂
So sad to hear about Jan and her family, what a horrible tragedy. Love the painting and thankfuls.
It is sad about Jan. I’ve been visiting her for years. 🙂
I love you my beautiful wife.
Your loving husband.
I love you too my handsome husband. 🙂
So so sad about Jan!! My heart goes out to her family.
Mine too. Life is so precious. 🙂
What a lovely painting! We were also so very sad to hear about Jan 🙁
Thank you. I’m a huge Monet fan. Yes very sad about Jan. 🙂
Sorry for the little puddle and the specially the humans injured. You are very correct about this wordpress community. I too have gotten to meet great interesting people and not only through the internet but actually through the years a few of those people we have met face to face. I can truly say they are my friends and not only those I have met face to face.
I´m grateful my mother is still alive, she has stage 3 cancer and now after one chemotherapy that lasted 6 months failed to get rid of the cancer, she went into a test program approved by the FDA in the U.S but not here in Spain nor Europe and that one also didn’t work. So now she goes to the third and last option which is to take one pill of chemotherapy a day and one chemotherapy session in the hospital once a week. I´m her caretaker full time. I´m basically moved into her new apartment and sleep in the same room since a lot of nights she sweats a lot so we have to change sheets and basically I barely sleep just having an eye out in case something wrong happens suddenly. So grateful she is still alive even though she is weak, grateful my presence makes her happy, she is an extremely strong an independent woman and often says she’s sorry for me to be asked to clean this or that, buy this or that, take care of the dog, e.t.c. I smile and tell her she´ll pay me with interest in 20 years plus.
You’re a dear for taking care of your mom. It’s most taxing, but you are doing a wonderful thing. Bless you. I hope she gets well. 🙂
Thank you Sandee, trying my best
We are all thankful for you Sandee! You are our cheerleader! xoxo
Love you bunches, Kathe. Have for many years. 🙂
We are still waiting for the first signs of spring. Well, at least the days are getting longer.
Have a wonderful Thankful Thursday!
It’s so nice out today. I’m sure there will be ugly weather before it’s over, but right now it’s perfect. 🙂
I did not know Jan, but I read about that awful accident. My thoughts and prayers are with her family. That is a beautiful painting. XO
She was a delightful lady that I so enjoyed. She will be missed. 🙂
Beautiful artwork you are buying ~ lovely thankfuls and am saddened by the death of Jan ~ not even safe in your own home !

I love Monet. I can finally afford to own a few reproductions. It makes my heart happy. Yes it’s so sad about Jan. A lovely lady and so very kind. Like you. 🙂
Oh so sorry to hear about the sweet lady blogger. It always comes as a shock when we hear of things like this happening. <3
I was indeed shocked. She was in her own home and still wasn’t safe from a drunk driver. So sad. 🙂
My heart aches for all of her family and friends. You are right that we should all cherish each other, and i know you and Mr. Zane do that. What a wonderful painting!
Yes, we just never know do we. No we don’t. You are cherished by me, my friend. 🙂
We are so grateful that we are seeing some signs of spring too but we know winter will pull us back
Yes winter isn’t done yet, but we’re enjoying this nice weather while we can. 🙂
Claude Monet–oh so lovely… Thankful for a wonderful hubby and for our wonderful blogging buddies across the globe. Thoughts and prayers for Jan’s family and friends…
Monet is my hands down favorite artist. I can spot a Monet from a mile off.
Thanks for the thoughts and prayers for Jan’s family and friends. 🙂
In her honor, no comedy today,
Thank you, Kismet. You’re a most smart feathered friend. 🙂
I love Monet too! Enjoy your hand painted pieces.
I am so sorry about your friend.
We’re getting around 6 paintings, but not all at once. Kind of pricey with the frames, but I’m so excited about having oils instead of prints.
Yes so very sad about Jan. She was a wonderful blogging buddy. 🙂
I’m am thankful we had some sun today. Instead of all the rain.
So very sad about Jan. 🙏😿
We have been having lots of sun of late too. Hubby turned on the water for our lawn yesterday. Dry already. 🙂
Oh my gosh, that is so awful about Jan!! I always enjoyed her wry sense of humor. That is so sad. 🙁
Me too. She was a wonderful blogging friend. 🙂
