It’s Thankful Thursday hosted by Brian of Brian’s Home. He wants us to post what we’re thankful for.
I think it’s a good thing to do each week. Focus on the positive things in our lives.
Make sure you link up to the Blog Hop at Brian’s Home and get the code to put on your blog. Then visit all the participants.
I’m thankful that spring is right around the corner for us. Usually in mid February we start seeing blossoms on the fruit trees. I can’t tell you how happy that makes me. Spring is my favorite season of all.
I’m thankful that hubby and I have a road trip planned this coming summer. We’re going to many places, but the centerpiece is Jackson, Wyoming.
Jackson is a popular tourist destination due to its proximity to ski resorts: Jackson Hole Mountain, Snow King Mountain and Grand Targhee, as well as Grand Teton National Park, and Yellowstone National Park.
I’m thankful for another year of fun adventures on our boat. We’ve planned numerous destinations for this year. This time we’ll be going by ourselves or a couple of friends. We know this was the right decision for us to get out of organized boating.
What are you thankful for today?
A road trip sounds wonderful. I need to get out and explore more this summer. I keep saying I’m going to but then never do.
Yes, take off when you can and explore. 🙂
Your road trip sounds wonderful and I will look forward to seeing the photos.
February is usually the coldest month for us, and if we do get snow (rarely more than a dusting) that is when it is more likely to be.
That sounds like our southwest Ohio Februarys. ~nods~ Enjoy your travels, my dear. Sounds like good times. ~hugs~
We always enjoy our travels, Darla. Big hug, my friend. 🙂
Hubby will take lots of pictures. Looking forward to a road trip. 🙂
Your road trip sounds like fun. We are thankful that the temps are warmer than they have been.
We’ve had a pretty mild winter too. I’ll take it. 🙂
I like to focus on things we can be thankful for, and there are so many. This is an inspiring piece that you run each Thursday. Today I will say, I am thankful for our cat. We adopted her when she was 10. We had never had a cat, so I didn’t know what we were getting into. She’s so chill, and loves the boy so much, and she has from day one. They were meant to be together, and I am thankful for their bond. It’s sweet. She’s sweet. 🙂 Have a wonderful day!
What a wonderful thankful about your cat. It’s a wonderful thing for the cat and your handsome son. You have a wonderful day too. 🙂
I do hope you share some pics from the road trip! It sounds wonderful!
Hubby will be taking photographs at each stop. Not to worry. 🙂
It sounds like you have a wonderful year of fun planned! Enjoy!
Yes that’s our plan. We don’t want to just be home all the time. Time to venture out. 🙂
That sure sounds like a fun trip. Sandee, you and Zane have a perfect day.
We are looking forward to having a great time, Marg. 🙂
Spring is the best here also. A lot of visitors and that includes those who come for baseball Spring Training.
I would visit you Kismet. You know that I love you. I know you do. 🙂
The feeling is mutual
Sounds like a lot of fun activities planned!
Happy Thursday! <3
We have lots of things planned for this year. We’re happy about that. 🙂
Those are terrific thankfuls and I’ll be you like Wyoming, it’s very pretty. The Dad has been to every state except North Dakota and Hawaii. Thanks for joining the Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!
I’ve been to Wyoming and Montana before, but hubby hasn’t so it will be a real treat for him. Thank you for hosting the Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. 🙂
A road trip, eh? How outstanding! And definitely something to be thankful for-sounds like a great trip.
Yes and we have all our rooms reserved. It’s going to be a great time. Happy Thursday, my friend. 🙂
Yay! I can’t wait to see pics! You’re going to have a blast and please do share with us. Road trips are the best. Quality time with your love is wonderful too. 🙂 xoxo <3
Yes we are. We’ll be in Twin Falls and Coeur d’Alene on our trip. How far is that from you? Love you. 🙂
A road trip sounds wonderful and we’re getting excited about our March trip to Blue Ridge for St. Patrick’s Day. It’s cold and grey here and this morning they predicted snow but it didn’t happen. Happy Thursday!
We’ve not been on a road trip for a long time. Too much yacht club stuff and now that that is over we can do other things. We made the right decision to leave the yacht club. 🙂
I am glad you know you made the right decision leaving the yacht club. Now, you can move forward with ease. 😊
Ooo that’s definitely something to look forward to, and it sounds like there’s plenty there to explore.
Good room in your suitcase for a little one, about 5’3″? 😉
xx
Yes it is. I have all the reservations made and we’re ready to go. I’d love to meet you, Caz. 🙂
My friend, sounds like you both have an exciting summer planned. 💗🤗 ((Hugs))
Yes we do. All kinds of things happening beginning in March. Hugs back. 🙂
Jackson is such a beautiful place, enjoy! (and get lots of pictures to show us all)!!
Hubby has never been there and I want him to enjoy the area for a couple of days. 🙂
I love the idea of travel, but when it’s time to leave the house, I get all teary-eyed! But, I still go…The Hubby kicks me out, since my bags are packed.
We don’t have four legged babies anymore so it’ easier now. 🙂
Ohhhh Jackson Hole would be on my list too.
We were lucky enough to see Vail in 2016…and the Rockies
Hugs Cecilia
I’ve been there, but hubby hasn’t. It will be a treat for him. Hugs. 🙂
I like spring so much, but we will have to wait a bit longer until March or even April. You are so lucky spring comes so early to you!
Have a great Thankful Thursday!
We have pretty good weather here. Only about three months of chilly/cold weather. We’re happy about that. You have a great Thankful Thursday too. 🙂
I am thankful today for the fact that I am at peace more so now then I have been in over a yr…
I’m happy about that, Pam. You’ve had a hard year. 🙂
Wow buds on trees in February? We won’t see any til late April (if we’re lucky!) I am thankful for my two Yoga classes that I take now every week. While I am a beginner and not good at all at Yoga, I still love it
Put Michigan on your list for your trip this summer! Would love to meet you both! 🙂
Yoga is a very good way to exercise. Very good. Keep at it and you’ll get better and better.
We’re not getting that far east, but there could be another road trip in the future. We’d love to meet you too. 🙂
I am always thankful for road trips, the planning is always so exciting!
Yes it is. I’ve got all the rooms booked, but we’ll see what else we want to do when we get to each destination. 🙂
We have a road trip scheduled for February to NC to celebrate my sister’s 80th birthday. Big doings and all. Can’t wait.
I hear you. It’s good to have a road trip now and then. Especially when it’s a fun one. 🙂
Thankful for my sweethearts continued good health. His medical event last October was so scary. I am thankful that we moved closer to good medical care last in 2018. Have a wonderful road trip to Wyoming!
I’m so happy Russell is doing well too. It’s good to be closer to good medical care as we age. 🙂
That sounds like a great trip to look forward to.
We are looking forward to the fun for sure. 🙂
What an exciting year you have ahead! While spring is just around the corner for us quite yet, we are thankful that our temperatures are going to be a bit warmer the next couple of weeks. Luke needs his daily walks!
Tell Luke I love him bunches. 🙂
Right now, i am thankful to read your plans! You are going to have so much fun.
Yes we are and we’re looking forward to the adventure. 🙂

You will. We’ll make sure to take pictures and share. 🙂
Our Female Human said to tell you that she used to live in Jackson, Wyoming (waaay before any of the Tribe were born). She said it’s beautiful there and you’ll have a great time. Oh, and don’t feed the bears! MOL

Alberto
I won’t feed any bears. I love Jackson. Been there before and had a blast. 🙂
We are thankful that spring is coming too.
I can’t wait for spring. It was a bit warmer today than usual and I liked that. 🙂
Friends of ours visited Jackson, WY last summer and loved every minute of it. We have talked about it, but I think it is still a year out for us. We have a couple of other plans in the works. Looking forward to reading about your Wyoming adventure.
Hubby hasn’t been there, but I have. I know he’ll love it. It’s a fun place to explore. 🙂

We are looking forward to venturing out a bit now that we don’t have yacht club stuff to do. 🙂
My Grandma and Grandpa live in WYO Ming! Mom says you will be amazed at all he buffalo that roam in Yellowstone Park. She’s been to the park several times over the years. One summer she and grandpa saw over 200+ of the big beasties running together. Purr purr purr.
It’s beautiful country and we’re looking forward to taking it in. Happy weekend. 🙂
