Who are the Music Moves Me bloggers? They are bloggers who blog about music each Monday and if you have music to share, you are most welcome to join! (Music Posts Only-meaning at least one music video, please!)
First, there is Marie from XmasDolly. Her co-hosts are: Stacy from Stacy Uncorked, Cathy from Curious as a Cathy, and Alana from Ramblin’ with AM.
We’d love more music lovers to join us. It’s easy! All you have to do is add your link with a music post that contains at least one music video (there must be a music video). And that’s it!
Each month, except December, we have a guest conductor. Today’s honorary hostess is Cathy of Curious as a Cathy and Monday’s theme is music from 50s. 60s, or 70s.
Feel better, Marie. You’re in our thoughts and prayers, my friend. Healing hugs.
very cool! Love Motown!
Me too. So much great music. 🙂
Mom forgot about Motown. Those are some great tunes to think about and listen to.
I came of age in this era. Wonderful music. 🙂
Love the smooth sounds of Motown!! I don’t have an ounce of rhythm but it makes me want to dance anyway. 🙂 Wishing you a fabulous day.
Some great music indeed. 🙂
There’s some great songs here. I haven’t heard these in years
I hadn’t either, Ann. I hope you’re enjoying your long weekend. 🙂
Wonderful music! This brought back so many memories. You and Mr. Zane have a blessed and beautiful week!
It did for me too, my friend. You and Mr. Sweetie have a blessed and beautiful week too. 🙂
Motown really came into its own in the ’60’s and ’70s, and they’re both well-represented here. Good choice!
I agree with you, John. Motown was my favorite kind of music. 🙂
Love that Motown sound! Thanks for sharing the cool video, Sandee!
They were my favorite when I was young. So many talented folks. 🙂
nothing like motown to raise the spirtis. this is my kind of music
Mine too. I loved all things Motown. 🙂
Sandee,
So glad you pulled out some Motown for today’s dance numbers. The Jackson 5s from the 60s with a very young Michael is just sweet. What a talented family! Glancing over the song titles on this playlist, I see a lot of great artists from the era an am looking forward to listening to your playlist all the way through. Thanks for hitting the dance floor, my dear. Have a boogietastic week! 😉
Thank you for co-hosting this week. I love Motown. Always have. Have a great day and week, Cathy. Big hug. 🙂
Motown!
Yes it’s really great music. 🙂
You’ve got the 60’s and 70’s covered. 🙂 XO
I thought so too. Love the music of those decades. 🙂
Ahhhh, wonderful Motown! One of the best musical genres (IMHO). Your post inspires me to create a new Pandora station! Thanks for planting that seed for me.
I agree with you. Some of the greatest music ever. 🙂
I surprise myself that I don’t post Motown that often because I like most of the songs on this album. Alana ramblinwitham.blogspot.com
I so loved Motown in my youth. 🙂
My body swayed just reading the titles of these great tunes. 😀 I hope Marie is doing well. ~hugs to you all~ Blessings, my dear.
I keep Marie in my prayers. Hugs. 🙂
