Who are the Music Moves Me bloggers? They are bloggers who blog about music each Monday and if you have music to share, you are most welcome to join! Your MMMM co- hostesses are Curious as a Cathy, Â Ramblin’ with AM, Stacy Uncorked and Xmas Dolly.
This is a music link up. Your 2023 4M party host/hostess are found HERE. Every other week we have a suggested music theme to build your song set around and all participants share YouTube or Vimeo videos for our music enthusiasts. Themes aren’t mandatory to gain access to the dance floor but failure to meet the basic guideline (post must contain music) puts your URL in danger of being labeled – NO MUSIC.
The theme this week is freedom of music choice, no theme week! Have fun!
I’ve enjoyed being this months honorary co-hostess. Thank you to all that played along.

Love that song Sandee! Its so good!
Glad you liked it, Carol Anne. 🙂
My link at #4 is a mistake but I can’t delete it – sorry. I just linked your page! Anyway, Don’t let the sun go down on me is a very underrated song, I think. It’s really good but often over looked.Good picks.
Lydia,
Don’t worry about the double linky entry. I removed it! 😉
Wonderful memories, these. I hope you and Mr. Zane have a blessed and beautiful week, hugs!
I agree. Two of my favorites. You and Mr. Sweetie have a blessed and beautiful week, too. Hugs. 🙂
Excellent choices! Thanks for hosting this month.
You’re most welcome, John. I’ve had fun. 🙂
With all of his hotness, George Michael scared me half to death one night. See I had a life-sized poster of him over my bed. One night I sleepily opened one eye and was terrified to see a man standing above me. Then again, he never was interested in my type, anyway.
He was most handsome. I hear you on the type. That would have been most scary. 🙂
Fantastic songs
I love all the artists in these two videos. Happy week. 🙂
Hello my Sista, HUGS, HUGS & LOTSA HUGS!!! YOU TOTALLY ROCKED THE HOUSE! Luv these two songs! Haven’t heard the second one in forever, but I’ll be hearing it a lot in my head the next few days! YOU ROCK MY SISTA!!! Have a GREAT day!!! HUGS… Luv ya!!! Oh & yes your email is still coming… about 60 to 70 or more a day! Just thought I’d let ya know!
Hi Marie. I’m glad I did okay this month. Love you, my sister. 🙂
Sandee,
Two talents no longer with us but who’ll forever have a place in our hearts and music library as long as the world stands. “Don’t Let the Sun Go Down on Me” is a beautiful song and I love this version with George sharing the stage with Sir Elton. 🙂 You did a fabulous job as this month’s special quest co-hostess, my dear. Your timing was perfect with me being away much of it, too. Whenever you want another gig with the 4M gang, please let us know and I’ll be happy to pencil you in for a date! Have a boogietastic week, dear friend!
Thank you, Cathy. High praise and I felt I did better this month than previous times. A learning curve is you will. Hugs and happy week. 🙂
Mom forgot about that song. She hasn’t heard it in a while but it is good to have it back in her mind.
It was one of my favorite videos. I used to play both over and over. 🙂
Nice blast from the past. I like them both especially the second.
The second is my favorite too. Have a fabulous day and week, Ann. 🙂
What a dynamic duo Aretha and George had going on in that first one! Well done.
I loved both of them. Such talent. Have a great week. 🙂
You did such a great job this month. Be totally proud.
Thank you, my friend. Coming from you that means so very much. Happy week, Patrick. 🙂
Michael McDonald is just slightly older than me, is handsome and has a great voice. So what’s there not to love? He did a great job, especially, on Don’t Let the Sun Go Down on Me, one of my many favorite Elton John songs.
It’s been a favorite of mine since it came out. Love both videos. Happy week. 🙂
Congrats on co-hosting this month. He had such a great voice. It’s a shame that he died so young..great songs
I hear you. I loved his music. Happy week. 🙂
George Michael and Aretha Franklin were both generational talents. Their voices were such that they deeply moved people lucky enough to hear them.
They sure moved me. I love this duo. Happy week. 🙂
